Tell me why I am getting emotional about two clocks. :')

Today I learned about this art installation: the two clocks are set at the same time at the start but they are expected to, slowly, out of battery life and wear and tear, fall out of sync until one of them is left alone to tick on the wall.

I love how Steve takes the initiative at first but then it's Bucky throughout leading . Him being the one with better combat experiences (decades) and Steve always trusting Bucky to make correct judgement and protect them both. Also in possibly an extremely hostile place they need the assault weapon gun to act first rather than the shield which usually captures alive rather than kill.

Also the synchronised defend - attack formation at the slightest hint of danger, after all the years and changes.

lovejoys worst song is the perfect pair cover

i would say it’s privately owned spiral galaxy but i don’t like the source material so that’s inevitable (editor wilbur arg era cover was good though)

anyways i quite enjoy the original beabadoobee version and wilbur soot unfortunately does not hit some of those notes 😞

it really depends on how i’m feeling to determine whether or not it’s a skip

One of my favorite memories is my uncle, a very serious intellectual™️ in his 70s, insisting on all of us watching Netflix romcom A Perfect Pair because he thought it was about importing wine (in Spanish the movie name is slightly less obvious). He frowned his way through it, because his wife was delighted by the plot twist that the farm hand was actually a millionaire (going for nightly swims that the protagonist would stumble upon, of course)

one of my fav memories is my dad attempting to watch bridgerton bc he thought it was a documentary
