this reminds me so much of the belfast rape trial
#just everything about it#the woman being completely humiliated in court by having her knickers passed around#ah being forced to recount her abuse to the world while she gets total humiliation (which is what jd wanted)#a working class woman standing no chance against upper middle class popular rugby players#and a woman who yes is rich but is far less wealthy and far less powerful than the man who has created this circus#there are so many similarities
