You turned your head at the door opening. The quiet creek, Jun clearly trying not to wake you as he stepped into the room, gaining your attention. "Sorry, did I wake you?" your boyfriend asked, whispering with his eyebrows furrowed in apology. You shook your head with a sigh. You had been tossing and turning in your guys' shared bed since you laid in it hours ago. "I thought you were planning on sleeping early for tomorrow," your boyfriend questioned. He climbed in next to you, the two of you instantly settling into one another's arms.

"I know," you sighed as you nestled your head onto his shoulder. "But I'm nervous," you whispered softly.

"About what, dear?"

"Doing this. Changing my life plans on a whim," you told him, fiddling with the fabric of his shirt. "I've only talked about one type of career my entire life, given everyone expectations about me, and I'm not following any of it." You stopped, moving your head to stare up at your boyfriend. "What if I'm making the wrong choice?" you questioned in a small whisper. Jun hugged you closer to him, looking down to meet your eyes.

"Would you have been happy as a doctor?"

"Maybe." You shrugged as best as you could in his embrace. "But how do I know that I'll be happy with this choice?"

"You don't."

"Junnie, that's not helping," you whined at your boyfriend.

"I'm not finished," Jun said, ensuring that he made eye contact with you again. "But you couldn't have been any happier just following a choice that you decided when you were in pre-school. Baby, this is a choice that you've made for yourself as your current self." You silently nodded in agreement. "This can't be a worse path in life then going into a career that you already had doubt in."

"You're right," you sighed as you leaned your head back onto Jun's arm around your shoulders. "That doesn't make it any less nerve-wracking though." You softly tell him, holding his shirt in a vice grip.

"I know," he whispered back. His hand came up, stroking your hair in a soothing manner. "But nothing good comes without a struggle; this is your struggle." Jun gently kissed your forehead, "Everything will be alright," he whispered into your hairline.

On Friday I had the chance to see the A.C.E concert in Budapest. It was the most amazing experience ever and it gave me inspiration. I usually don't write for them, but Jun talked about having a stroll on the riverbank and I just had to write a little snippet about it. I hope you'll like it. 💜

You and Jun walked slowly along the banks of the Danube, hand in hand, the fading light casting shades of pink and amber across the river. You paused now and then to take in the view, the glow of Budapest's Grant Parliament building mirrored on the water's surface. The hum of the city was softened by the gentle sounds of the river, carrying with it a sense of timelessness.

As the two of you reached the Chain Bridge, you tightened your grip on his arm, and watched as the lights flickered on, illuminating the city in warm tones. A violinist nearby played a soft melody, and for a moment you stood still, letting the music wrap around you.

He brushed a stray hair from your face, and you looked up, meeting his gaze. You shared a smile, unspoken but filled with understanding. In that moment, with the city's pulse all around them, you felt calmness washing over you. It was as if time had stopped for a few seconds, letting you enjoy the moment full of pure love, in that beautiful scenery.

The chip almost touched his lip when his eyes widened. "Or…" He muscled his way to the window and flicked the latch. A second too slow, Sehyoon tried to stop him. "Wait--"

"Hey!" Yuchan called out. You startled at your easel, looking around in bewilderment until you spotted a guy all but leaning out a window waving to get your attention. "Yeah, up here. Hi!"

A few blinks and you were waving back with a brush in your hand. "Hi there!"

Sehyoon covered his face as his skin heated up. "I can't believe you." He muttered.

Yuchan ignored him. "My friend here likes your art! Can he see what you're working on?"

It was your turn to freeze up and turn red. "I--uh--this one?" Yuchan nodded like a happy little idiot. You hesitated but to their surprise you reached over and picked up the canvas. "Please don't think badly of me."

Your shyness was endearing and Sehyoon found himself pushing Yuchan over. "We won't."

Maybe he was imagining it, but it seemed like your blush deepened when you made eye contact. "Okay." You turned the art towards them and for once even Yuchan was speechless. The painting was nowhere near finished but the sketch was good enough to know what it was. He could honestly say he'd never thought that you could see him as well as he could see you. It was a candid portrait of him leaning on his window sill, gazing up at the clouds. You captured him in a way he'd never seen himself, and he liked it.

"Wow that's amazing!" Yuchan pushed him aside. "Will you do one of me next? I wanna hang it up in the living room."

You let out a laugh so precious accompanied with a smile that warmed him from the inside out. "Why don't you come over for tea and cookies and we can talk about it?"

Hello! I'm searching for a RP partner for MxM plots and couples only, as you can see from my muses, so if you're into that, you already got bonus points for it, haha!

I can play 1x1 as much as I can play 2x2 if there's chemistry and we want to explore more than one pair, totally negotiable and up for it. I enjoy dark romance a lot, it involves a lot of drama and the dynamics always shift from uncertainty to angst, to even worse, depending on the trope and I've always had a soft spot for angsty, twisted stories with maddening desire and obsessive love. I'm up for morally gray characters as well, as long as we both discuss our limits, our YESes and hard NOs. I'm always careful with the heavy themes, because if I know my partner isn't comfortable with describing S/A (just an example), we won't be doing that at all. I don't see this explored enough in fic (or I'm likely reading the wrong ones, if so, please rectify that), but something I notice with this chapter that's really making a lot of sense is how every day characters seem to think of "pre-quirk life". The Advent of the Extraordinary, or the Phenomenon, or whatever you call it, seems to have become the "beginning" of modern day civilization. Dabi's words of "pre-quirk" make me really fascinated - there's exposure to pre-quirk media, obviously, but people talk about the time before quirks like the way people refer to 0 A.C.E./A.C. Like I would be surprised if they ditched "After Common Era/After Christ" and just did "After Quirks" or something. It's such a fascinating glimpse at how far removed the After Quirk society sees itself - which makes sense! Unless most gradual changes in the world, it really seems the emergence of Quirks happened pretty fast though it took a while to build up to a society where 4 in 5 of all living people have quirks. There's a clear "break" in the historical record of life before quirks and the day the Light Baby was born, so it makes sense they've essentially divided the modern period in this way.
