Well it’s the time to review the finishing anime season of Spring 2017 and it starts with a pretty big show. The animation was wonderful; the amount of detail put into every scene made it so immersive. The characters were improved much from the first season. The first season lacked alot of characterization not only for the side characters but the main ones as well. In this season the side characters got much more development and the actual MC, Eren, showed up later in the show (which i’m kind of glad about because he’s not a very intricate character alot of the time). The voice acting still kept a good quality to it. One thing I really loved about this season was the sort of mystery/horror story it told, trying to unravel the story behind the titans and what some of the characters know about that truth.  The titans went back to being absolutely terrifying instead of just bumbling around like idiots which brought the horror aspect back to the show. Despite that this sequal took four years to release I think they used that extra time to really polish it into a superior sequal. 

(also a season 3 was already announced for 2018)

(the way Reiner revealed him and Bertholt was so odd but the bluntness really caught everyone off gaurd)
