honestly, it feels like a half-baked game. i wish gamefreak a very unionize and want them to just take their fucking time and make something with care. god.

the convergent evolution stuff is a tired regional variant thing of like, it feels as though they’re running out of ideas. hire fan artists!!! have you fucking SEEN fakemon? people are so imaginitive !!! don’t rehash what you’ve already done, just make new stuff!!!

and while most of the new pokemon are just, bleh, there are a few that i absolutely ADORE. so here’s my tier list:

wooper (paldean) + clodsire - literally holy fuck. peak design i love them both SO fucking much. i know the regional thing is annoying but this is the exception. the little bone shaped bits on wooper’s face? peak design.

shroodle + grafaifai - the epitome of “just a lil creecher” and i could not be happier about it. YES. WEIRD LIL GREMLIN GUYS. shroodle is insanely tiney and i’m dying. grafaifai is lil freak. i love them.

wo-chien - weird snail guy!!!! oh my god i love it so much. the design is delightful, i love the eyes and the color palatte so much.

smoliv + dolliv + arboliva - a bipedal grass type that isn’t super horny. i love seeing it. also arboliva’s design is just really nice, i just like it.

veluza - as a shark lover, i’m partial. it’s not shark, but it has shark energy. also pink and grey <3

bramblin + brambleghast - love a grass/ghost. and i just like its shape and simple design.

tinkaton - butch queen, i like her.

Honestly, Aynon, you are so correct! The Psychedelic Gnomes of the After-Afterlife (tm) are just littol creechers that love to play games with any person they come across, and I can respect that, even with how strange and oddly sinister it can be.

And the Light Being? Party FUCKING Animal. Trapped for insane groovings. It seems, at least, that they are one of the more erratic light beings in the realm, but we can only use Pink as a base for other light beings, so who knows which is the outlier. (PS Everhood Fandom, my knowledge on the game's lore is a little lacking, so if I'm wrong about the light beings, feel free to correct me.)

Personally, and this might be because of bias, I would be interested in becoming a mage of sorts to have some of powers to do the crazy fun shit people like Green get up to. Losing one of my senses for that may be a small price to pay, but I'll get some good mileage out of it (for about 2-3 centuries before I lose sense of time and become bored out of my wits for the rest of eternity).

2: @leggosmanymuses ! LEGGO. Chat this is my goddamn brainrot bearer. The amount of nights we've been awake till the sun comes up bouncing lore off the discord walls would count us as horribly ill- But I couldn't have asked for a better person to lose my mind with! The passion she puts into every single blorbo is insane, and I think more than half of said lore has branded itself onto the side of my brain. As it should really. I truly adore Leggo, and all of her creechers. 💛

3: @talestcld ! Link! My goodness! Not only is he a talented artist and graphics maker, but a wonderful writer. He understands the complex Nymh lore I put out, and hell, even contributes to it!! From Oisín to Kora, I am so enthralled by all his original characters.

4: @aethramusings ! How does one put up with all my shenanigans like Ellie does?? Genuinely one of my favourite people on the internet. Our muses click together like puzzle pieces, and the dynamics we create have literally made me cry before ( I'm talking the Snowpunzel breakup thread from twitter ). I am eternally so proud of her and all she does in her real life while still finding time for us internet people. Ellie ( beloved ) I am always ready to write with her, and I will scream praises about it for my whole neighbourhood.!!!
