What is the essence of being a CPA?

The essence of being a CPA is the faith that keeps burning within your heart from the moment you dream of becoming the one until forever. It takes no time to end this feeling. It usually finds no end even if you’re tired of your work, having sleepless nights, losing some socialization and having hard time finding your soulmate (HAHA). The excitement that you felt from the first time you enroll to college taking up Accountancy (Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or BSA to be exact), your first day of class, first day of review, the actual exam, the release of the result, your job exam and interview, to the first day of work must retain until the you will say “It’s my last day of all of these.” The excitement must always be there to keep the essence of being the one. No matter how hard or painful the process as long as you are working with it every single day, the probability that you can increases. It’s not about how many times you fail or disappoint yourself rather it’s all about you taking every single step to be the one. Basta kaya mo yan, kayanin mo! Kapit ka lang sa mga katagang ito para marating mo pangarap mo ngunit huwag lamang basta manalig at manalangin, kailangan sabayan ng kilos, sipag, disiplina, determinasyon at inspiration. Then, once you become the one, don’t be too arrogant cause you’re indebted to HIM, to the God Almighty upon whom all the glory and honor shall be credited. Dedicate this and be thankful also to all the people who pushes you to be the one. Somehow, they kneeled down and prayed for you. Keep studying, dreaming and striving cause no one else is going do it for you. Owe it to yourself to be the CPA that you can be. HAHA, nag essay para sa planner, hehe

Finally, I’m now a CPA

After 5 years in college and 5 months review at CPAR, I’m finally a CPA .The results were released last November 2, 2017.

One word: Nakakapagod

,but it was all worth it. I’d like to thank everyone who prayed for me. I got a little time to blog and I’ll be starting to work na. Hoping that I’ll find time to share my experiences especially during internship, final semester in college, and review days.

To all October 2016 CPA Examinees!

The 4-day exam is totally over. And now.. the waiting game begins.

After the last day of exams (Oct 9 - Sun), I felt relieved.

The day after the exam (Oct 10 - Mon), anxiety begins to strike.

Maybe I’m not the only one experiencing this, so i decided to share this to you (whoever you are reading this). Days from now the results will come out, the moment we’ve all been waiting for and at the same time the truth that will either make us or break us. Anxiety, confusion, uneasiness could easily consume you at this point of time but good news! You don’t have to deal with that anymore!

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. - Mark 11:24

The exam is already over. Wag mo na alalahanin yung mga items na di mo sure kung nasagutan mo ng tama o hindi. Worrying will not help you at all.

What you can do now is:

KEEP CALM, “PRAY”, Have FAITH and BELIEVE that God is a God who makes all things possible! Walang imposible kay Lord!

You did your best and now let God do the rest. CONGRATULATIONS, 2016 CPAs! :)

I dunno. I really dont want accountancy. I graduated with flying colors but I dont brag it. Coz I dont deserve it. I didnt want it in the first place. I bunked classes. I always got drunk. Smoke. Hung with friends somewhere else. Those were the things I used to do in college. My school was a big joke for giving me that medal of honorability. Lol. All my professors in major subjects were mad at me. Except Business Law profs. Coz I studied fuckin hard in that subject. Ugh. So sick of this professional aspect of my life. So formal. So boring :(
