• NOVA has a partner in crime who serves as her link to Merc jobs. Their name is Extra, and aside from knowing they're a guy who uses he/him and has a love for tacos, not much is known about him.

• NOVA stole enough octarian and octoling tech to build whatever she needs. She has her own paintball making machines, co2 compressors, and the tools to make the guns themselves. However, she does keep in contact with a few octoling outliers who can plug her with specialized pieces and other acroutements.

• NOVA has never killed an innocent, and her agility and crackshot aim is to thank for this. She's proficient in disarming enemies and using their own guns against them. It's rumored she split an inkling's arm right down the middle with a single paintball because the inkling apprehensively pointed their finger at her.

• NOVAs diet is as trashy as it gets. Sushi, garbage foods, fast food, soda, ice cream, pounds of chocolate, you name it, she's ate it. But there's a reason for this: NOVA has an unusually high metabolism rate, so building bulk and muscle on a healthy diet is near impossible, so she quite literally can eat someone out of house and home before and after any given mission.

• During her time in the Octo army, NOVA went by many code names. Some of the stand-outs are "Sea Snake", "Reef Boss", and "Kraken"

• NOVA adopted her name during a recon op where she was sent to blend into inkling society in a small town about 60 miles from Inkopolis known as "Neo Koto" where she became emotionally involved with it's culture and it's people. It was the first time anyone had treated her like anything more than a tool of war, and was the first time she saw a society that treated war as ceremonial, respectful of it's history, and learned about turf Wars and the concept of "freshness". The name NOVA was donned when an inkling asked her name, and when told 66b was a lame name to have, she was given the name "Nova", because when she used purple ink she shimmered, like a constellation. NOVA dreams of returning to Neo Koto and meeting up with the Inkling again.

• The Neo Koto op was one she almost failed due to the aforementioned cultural intervention. She considered it her largest slip-up before the untimely "Chum Massacre" that marked her as a traitor.

• NOVAs nose is a high-tech prosthetic implanted after an OP left her without her left eye and part of her nose. The skilled Octo doctors managed to reconstruct her nose and give her an olfatory enhancement prosthetic, however, her eye was unrecoverable and ultimately only her nose was salvaged. She can smell anything within a 50 feet radius from herself if she engages her nose's extended olfatory enhancements and can withstand 60 tons of pressure on impact before it breaks. It requires little to no upkeep and is completely waterproof. It can scrunch and act much like a normal nose, but most of the time simply appears as a prosthetic. It takes up a colored tinge, depending on NOVA's ink color.

• All of NOVA's paintball guns and paintballs are self produced. Every paintball contains enough highly concentrated ink to be comparable to 5 ink bombs. One shot is enough to kill any boss salmonid in one hit and penetrate through most metal armor. Touching the internal ink of one of her paintballs can be hazardous and should be treated with extreme care, though unpopped paintballs can be held just fine thanks to their thick agar agar gelatin exterior.

• NOVA knows both Octarian, Inklish and can understand Salmonid.

• NOVAs birthday is June 6th.

Rachiel is an escaped member of the cultists who has become a prostitute working in La Concordia in order to support herself. Members of the cultists are not a common sight in La Concordia, as most would be gunned down on sight by the Church Guard. As an escaped member she has been given permission to integrate into society, though that is easier said then done. The tattoos that all cultists bear are impossible to hide, even though hers would be considered mostly unfinished. At this point even she barely knows the meanings behind all the markings on her body, though the Eye of Providence on her chest still remains important to her. It is one of the most powerful symbols used by the cultists and represents true vision; sight of the path required to achieve true balance. Despite her tattoos she still is able to make a living as a woman of the night since there are plenty of gunmen and townsfolk who do not share the resentment of the cultists that the Church has.

Hekateros is a former gunman who now oversees a saloon in La Concordia. His days as a mercenary are long behind him but he still bears some of the acroutments that he once used, though back in his time they didn't have nearly as many tricks and devices as are used by the gunmen of today. Most noticeable is his necktie that bears simple religious iconography which was cutting edge at the time he began using it. With the lack of protection and lack of understanding of spiritual balance at the time, there are not many of the early gunmen still alive. Hekateros was lucky to have only lost a leg, as most lost far more then that. In his time he was one of the premier gunmen around, and due to his exploits on their behalf the Church has supported him in retirement. They provided the prosthetic leg and cane he uses to this day, as well as the saloon he manages. Any gunman working today knows of his saloon, as well as the stories of the early gunmen he has told them countless times.
