i havent watched the original series since i was like 11 but my recent obsession with saoa is really tempting me to revisit it
#im not quite sure what i thought of sao as an 11 yr old child#i remember really really liking it but also having pits of time where i thought it was kind of boring#i remember being really dazzled by the animation#i also remember being really uncomfortable around season 2 or apparently the second half of season 1???#whichever part introduces alo#i think i stuck it out until just around the end where i got bored and thought the cousin thing and the rape stuff was weird enough for me-#-to ditch it#actually i dont think thats true. i remember the gun season a little bit. kirito gets hit with the girl beam. i think thats when i got bored#bc guns are less cool than swords and fairies so i mentally checked out#i really dont remember much abt it im curious to form my own opinion now especially bc of how highly i regard the abridged series#-as its own independent thing#heliichats
