Friends I regret to inform you that the sniveling conman formally known as James Somerton has reappeared with a 43min "measured response" apology video.

I refuse to give him the views but I am reliably informed he is blaming "recently diagnosed" ADHD for the copy pasting and general plagiarism. This is heinous and I am disgusted.

Protip, neurodivergence doesn't make you plagiarise. It doesn't make you magically incapable of distinguishing your voice and your co-author's from your source. The only reason citation would "slip your mind" is if you had already decided that you didn't care about plagiarism and how it impacts the person you're ripping from. I've done university courses that required multiple written assignments medicated and unmedicated and because I cared about not plagiarising I somehow managed to not. Incredible innit.

RULES

This blog runs off LOW + SPORADIC ACTIVITY due to some current life circumstances going on. Don't rush me for replies since this is first & foremost a hobby for funsies. Discord is available to mutuals as well but I will be picky about it since I don't wish to be a number on anyone's list.

I am also MUTUALS ONLY. I do not do follow for follow, I will only follow back if I can see us writing together. I once again don't want to be a number on anyone's list nor do I wish to make others feel that way. Don't repeatedly follow me if I've already soft blocked you.

An overall rule to add is that I am not on the dash a lot ( because of work or the other multitude of things distracting my adhd brain ) but I do try & poke at mutuals if it's been a bit or it's a day of "oh hey lets see if people have memes".

Writing overall, I don't format much outside of using icons, small font + bolding / italicizing words here & there just for underlying emphasis. I tend to write multi-para but sometimes write smaller replies depending on the material. I am sometimes selective on what prompt asks I answer as in, if I can't think up a response at all then I usually delete them ( not because I'm ignoring you ). I don't expect people to do any of the above mentioned nor is it required, all I request is that effort is given.

Don't make assumptions about my muses. I don't follow fanon so I'd like that to not be pushed onto my muses at all. Not all my muses will be nice, sweet or friendly so don't expect that from them. I welcome the same in return from others, not all dynamics are meant to be friendly. Ask away if there are any questions about my muse portrayals.

I am duplicate friendly but I won't follow muses of the same first unless they have a duplicate rule as well. I'm open to same muse interactions if discussed or plotted between muns. In addition, I'm crossover friendly but I usually prefer it for things which I am familiar with. I won't always have the energy for things I am unfamiliar with unless there is some basis for me to go off of. Feel free to talk to me / ask.

No godmodding, don't control my muse in your replies. While I am fine with naturally emerging plot developments, I do require big events ( character death, breakups, etc ) to have been discussed previously. I would also like to be kept in the loop when it comes to any character choices that will, if we have an ongoing dynamic, affect our interactions.

I don't practice exclusives here but I do practice affiliates / mains for specific muses that are integral to my own muse, I will accept up to 2 mains since portrayals differ + possible au connections. My main rule about this is that I will only romantic ship with one muse of a certain character ( aka ship exclusive ). Each ship will be in it's own verse.

I'll just be straight in that I love writing ships, dynamics & all the good stuff that comes with character interactions. At the time however I'm not really seeking writing more romantic type of ships since I don't wish to overflow my plate. MUTUALS are always welcome to come to me however, a good portion of the time I'll jump like a kangaroo for things but that depends on my plate / energy at the time.

To go with the above, I like to write slowburn ( this can apply to any sort of dynamic whether it's enemies to friends, friends to lovers, mentor mentee etc etc ) AND skip around in timelines to write different things that scratch our itch. It's honestly whatever my partner prefers since I'm pretty easy about timeline shenanigans.

Last thing on shipping but this is mostly in regard to the HCQ ( aka my Jing Yuan & Dan Heng muses ) but there won't be any instant HCQ shipping for my muses in any way, shape or form. There is a lot of history + complicated feelings that make that impossible so don't expect that here.

Sexual NSFW may not particularly be present here since it's not something I hold a focus on writing or like putting on my dash but that can vary. More often then not it'll be fade to black, referenced to in the past / future tense or etc etc. If anything is posted then it'll be tagged accordingly.

Last additional overall rule is that I do write on discord / wire as well since it can be a nice vibe or less pressuring to write outside the dash. So that's always an option for mutuals as well.

The usual DNI applies here ( aka no homophobia, transphobia, no trump supporters etc etc. ) I will use the block button REGARDLESS of who you are should I see any of this.

That being said i am of course open to plotting, AUs and cross overs.
