Yesterday marked Day 38, and today I'm still in Tokyo! That's 17.5 out of 47 prefectures achieved. Today, my initially planned 24-hour Japanese pronunciation challenge didn't go as intended, and it left me a bit disappointed. However, even in the face of challenge failures, my former sharehouse buddies lifted my spirits. We enjoyed delicious ice cream, shared meals, and one friend even baked a cake. Their support truly touched my heart. In typical relationships, it's all about give and take. While it might differ for everyone, there are times when putting yourself out there can be draining, especially if you feel like you're giving more than you're receiving. Yet, having even a handful of people who support you with the same energy is incredibly valuable. That's why I'm willing to take risks again and again, to meet friends who share similar vibes. Though I have much left to learn, I'm determined to keep going, not just for the friends I've made but for those I'll meet in the future. My life is a tapestry of gratitude towards many. Yesterday’s monsoon definitely has me missing evenings like this!!! We finally packed up and covered our deck furniture for winter over the weekend and apparently just in time. We’ve had some crazy winds and torrential downpours lately and to top it off no power for hours yesterday! This year will mark 25 years of Halloween fun for guests in the parks. 🧡⁣ ⁣ The ultimate Pumpkin Patch⁣ There are 176 pumpkins to be exact, and each one is unique and independently themed to add to the festive theming of the party!🎃⁣ ⁣ Spooktacular Lights And Sounds ⁣ There is more than 23,100 feet of cable that has to be laid out and utilized for all of the effects and decorations. That equals to over 4 miles of cable that is used.
