"I mean we both like to read. I think most people would consider him reading aloud to me him including me in on it, rather than the other way around. Though he does like to listen to me read poetry." Rowan twirled a quill in her fingers. "I've been trying to coax him into singing with me more. I would never expect him to sing in front of an audience or aught like that, but around the house is private enough."

She set the quill down and looked into the distance. "Urianger is enjoying traveling lately. And I don't want to take that away from him but... I do prefer when we can truly be private together. Vow Koana rents out one of the cabins for us in Tuliyollal when we're in town so we at least have that while we're in Tural. But tis rather refreshing to be strange together without consequence."

I... I can't say I have much experience in love, Urianger. I'm afraid anything we do is going to be slow.

Rowan found that even calculus was made interesting by Urianger's enthusiasm for the subject.

U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

Rowan tends to be very empathetic and compassionate. It's part of her appeal of writing her as a character in general and in her romantic forays. So she gets why Urianger does what he does. And it kind of ends up being a bit of a sticking point where she starts to empathize with Emet-Selch and Elidibus. She doesn't want to empathize with those who sought to destroy her world, but Urianger points out that her understanding of them is tied to the fact that she can understand him. And that really does give her comfort.

What’s their love languages?

Rowan is Acts of Service. It's part of why she enjoys being the Warrior of Light - she gets to express positive emotions in a simple manner.

Urianger is Gift Giving. He remembers a lot of details and is going to be able to remember what someone needs and gives it.
