i'm thrilled kenny might be coming back by all out, i've missed him dearly

i'm considerably less thrilled about hung bucks getting put on ice again and/or bucks/ftr 3 for all the belts at all out getting canned for the sake of kenny/bucks trios champs, as much as i love the three of them as a unit but like. it's been months since the timing for that was right and i'd like to see some payoff for the things that got set up in the meantime

#aew has a huge problem with adjusting plans when something happens that's out of their control #see:#dragging out the whole ue drama for months on end in the hopes kenny would come back sooner #the interim world title situation #the mess that was the forbidden door build (although that one is also tony being bad at doing angles that feel different from each other)#(and most of the wrestlers who care enough about that AND have the sway to get that kind of thing on the show being off tv)#and this kenny/bucks thing with them HAVING to be the first trios champions is another example #like in a perfect world where kenny was able to come back sooner and the ue storyline didn't die many deaths then yeah go for it #it would have been great #and it'll probably still be good and i love them all so like. it's fine #but things did happen that caused drastic changes to the planned timeline #and there were now two hotter angles that i'm much more invested in seeing the emotional payoff to currently #that will prob just end up getting shafted and i'm bummed out about it #anyway whatever ignore this lmao i rly am happy kenny might be coming back sooner than i thought he would bc the show misses him desperately #but yeah. just wish they wouldn't fuck with the good things they have/had going for the sake of u turning into the og plan from months ago #aew #text post
