1. Your first OC ever?

I feel like my first proper OC was the main character of a book I was trying to write when I was about 12. Her name was Naia, she was a mermaid

i don't have any art or picrews of her, i just remember she had really long black hair! her personality was similar to how a lot of my current ocs ended up, she wasn't afraid of confrontation, was deeply anti-authority, and had a bit of a righteous streak. i think she was a power fantasy for 12yo me!

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?

i have not known peace since i saw this ask—

my ocs are doing this to each other in my head:

Jay (from my previous ask) is sobbing in the corner because two years ago this would have been easy to answer! it would've been him, no question, but now he has to compete with Orpheus (mentioned extensively in this ask), and Wyn Surana (my dragon age origins warden)

i've written a bit about him here!

i think it's fair to say that all 3 take turns as my favourite, but i think i'm going to put wyn in third place. i do love him dearly, but he mostly re-emerges as my fave whenever i'm super into dragon age, i can't say he's as consistent of a presence as the other two.

so that leaves Jay (left), and Orpheus (right):

orpheus takes over periodically on his own, and jay's just kind of always there as a kind of baseline fave? it's actually really hard to choose between them.

i think, it's almost a tie? but if really pushed, jay's still winning as my favourite oc, but only just! orph is literally right on his heels! but the next question helped me put my finger on a solid fave.

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?

this is the question that helped me realise who my favourite oc is!

because the answer to the oc i'd most want to meet is jay. and it's because then we'd fall in love <3 i know he's my own oc but he's really just so 🥰🥺💕💘 my vote is to meet him so we could immediately get married!

and that puts him higher than orpheus in my ranking! but still only just because orph really only just missed out on winning for this question too

44. Something you like about your OCs in general

because i took so long to reply i got this question twice, but something else i like about all my OCs in general is their pretty brown eyes, with few exceptions almost all my ocs have brown eyes and i just love that design feature for them! 💘
