As long as CSP keep their word and don't revoke the license you've already purchased, I'm not jumping ship on the software

However

I decided to give Krita a short spin bc it's the no1 Actually Reasonable Suggestion ppl bring up when it comes to art software

A bit of context: I'm primarily a Linux user and Windows is the bane of my existence. But all my years of drawing digitally I had the p secure knowledge that drawing on Linux just Doesn't Work bc you don't get pressure sensitivity (drivers who) and also the one time I tried Krita years ago it was laggy as shit

But i pulled it up out of curiosity and, knock on wood, it just. works??

Tablet drivers are a thing on Linux now and Krita seems to just Work

Again, I'm not jumping ship on CSP or fully migrating over to Krita, but being able to just. pull it up on Linux to doodle down something I want without having to reboot my entire laptop and wait ages for Windows to wake up?? Astounding. Revolutionary. Life-changing.

#kata's chatter #again knock on wood bc i couldnt give it a full try of proper drawing #i will in a few days/a week but not now #but theres pressure sensitivity!!! you guys have no idea how amazing that simple fact is to me #way way back when i first started drawing digitally i was using fuckin WINE. later a virtualbox for a v v long time #all the way until i got csp actually #so shits always been clunky #idk if im big brain enough to really learn krita on top of csp but im glad it is indeed an option #sidenote i AM pissed about what csp are doing but this post isnt about that #also turns out i never even uninstalled krita. brain do be like that huh
