    left  in  the  care  of  the  foster  system    and  a  year  later  was  put  into  the  custody of  a  man  who  was  suppose  to  be  his  father  .   a  politician  who  had  cared  more  about  his  image  then  his  own  blood  eight  years  earlier  .   not  an  excuse  ,  his  father  would  learn  that  with  the  help  of  guilt  eating  him  from  the  inside  out  .  did  everything  he  could  think  of  to  make  it  up  ,    not  an  easy  challenge  .

walked  hand  in  hand  with  being  difficult  .      labeled  the  broken  bird  .  the  dirt  bag  .   found  traces  of  himself  in  chaos  and  so  he  became  it  .    a  smart  boy  drowning  in  a  hurt  he  had  not  fully  recovered  from  .    got  better  as  the  years  went  ,   and  twenty  two  was  his  golden  years  of  doing  his  very  best  to  not  self  destruction  .  

kept  himself  busy  ,  but  that  does  not  mean  he  kept  himself  out  of  trouble  .  a  smart  boy  who  had  the  ability  to  stumble  into  class  with  black  rims  covering  regrets  from  the  previous  night  .   cannabis  was  the  best  form  of  therapy  and  getting  blacked  out  on  weekdays  was  his  favorite  sin  .   

careless  and  impulsive  ,  everyone’s  favorite  partner  in  crime  .  bruised  knuckles  and  a  fat  lip  were  the  consequence  of  a  insolent  mouth  that  never  knew  when  to  stop  .   smiled  with  blood  dripping  from  his  mouth  and  returned  to  his  dorm  with  bruised  knuckles  ,  now  he  remembered  what  he  looked  like  .    

charming  words  and  wandering  hands  might’ve  fooled  you  ,  but  commitment  for  him  was  unreachable  .   he  was  stuck  in  the  mindset  that  he  was  too  fucked  up  for  someone  to  love  him  and  it  showed  in  every  relationship  he  had  ever  had  .   he  was  the  heartbreaker  ,  or  more  so  the  cold  hearted  .  used  others  to  silence  the  demons  in  his  head  and  left  before  the  sun  crept  through  curtains  .  

*   𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄                         𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓  .

ten  years  formed  a  new  label  ,  the  phoenix  .   the  businessman  .    moved  around  until  he  settled  in   san  francisco  where  he  soon  opened  up  a  bar  with  his  business  partner  .   successful  ,  finally  funded  his  own  life  with  money  that  he  earned  .  but  there  was  more  to  him  then  just  expensive  cars  and  days  being  referred  to  as  boss  . 

healed  in  more  ways  then  he  had  been  ten  years  ago  ,  thanks  to  the  help  of  actual  therapy  (  though  cannabis   was  still  a  friend  )   .   greatest  achievement  was  finding  forgiveness  in  his  heart  for  his  father  and  building  a  normal  son  -  father  relationship  .    

decided  early  he  didn’t  want  kids  and  instead  adopted  a  pitbull  named  kyson  .   his  best  friend  and  as  those  around  him  joke  ,  his  son  .   is  his  background  a  picture  of  him  and  his  dog  ,  yes  .  mind  your  business  .

now  a  known  playboy  ,  though  most  aren’t  surprised  .  says  he’s  too  busy  for  relationships  but  it’s  just  the  fact  that  some  things  never  change  and  commitment  was  still  a  scary  thing  .  

recently  ,  as  in  the  last  three  years  ,  moved  to  riccione  ,  where  he  opened  up  his  fourth  bar  .   lives  in  a  house  on  the  beach  and  only  returns  home  every  few  months  (  plus  the  holidays  )  .  has  become  a  big  beach  bum  ,  but  he  likes  the  environment  .  does  the  whole  beach  life  activities  too  ,  the  hiking  and  the  surfing  (  though  he’s  not  very  good  )   .  

no  longer  a  fighter  ,  and  instead  is  the  one  breaking  them  up  .   realized  there  was  one  thing  he  never  wanted  to  be  ,  his  mother  ,  and  so  he’d  never  resort  to  using  his  fist  unless  in  the  act  of  defense  and  even  then  he’s  had  a  good  job  of  walking  away  .  

*   𝐒𝐈𝐗                         𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓  𝐈𝐍  𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓   .

back  to  square  one  .  no  memories  of  who  he  grew  up  to  be  ,  just  the  old  feeling  of  anger  and  hurt  .   sad  to  see  his  process  thrown  out  the  window  ,  his  healing  cracked  open  .  the  biggest  question  ,  is  will  he  get  to  his  end  point  once  again  or  will  a  second  chance  be  his  downfall  ?

*   𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍                          𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐒  .

has  always  taken  very  good  care  of  himself  in  the  sense  of   what  he  puts  into  his  body  ,  even  in  college  he  paid  important  attention  to  diet  and  exercise  .  

doesn’t  speak  of  his  mother  ,  or  at  least  he  didn’t  .  you  asked  a  question  and  got  silence  in  return  .  most  never  actually  knew  what  the  first  seven  years  of  his  life  was  ,  which  left  many  in  shock  when  he  finally  decided  to  open  up  about  it  .

he  doesn’t  like  nicknames  and  prefers  to  be  called  just  alistair  ,  though  some  people  do  get  a  pass  ,  even  if  that  pass  comes  with  a  hard  look  .

his  drink  of  choice  is  bourbon  but  he  hasn’t  been  a  bigger  drinker  since  his  college  days  ...  his  friends  would  joke  it’s  because  he  overdid  it  too  many  times  in  his  younger  years  .

                    YOU’RE  BAD  FOR  MY  HEALTH  ,  YEAH  YOU  SHOULD  HURT  SOMEBODY  ELSE  (  PAST  CONNECTION  ┋  OPEN    )  .    he  was  bad  for  their  health    ,   a  rollercoaster  that  consisted  of  too  many  downs  .  toxic  ?  yes  .  in  love  ?  in  denial  .  but  whatever  was  between  these  two  ,  it  kept  them  at  each  others  throats  and  in  each  other  bed  .   this  was  not  the  one  who  got  away  ,  it  was  the  one  he  needed  to  stay  away  from  . 

                   WILL  HE  ALWAYS  BE  MINE  ?   ( PRESENT  CONNECTION  ┋  OPEN   ) .    his  first  adult  relationship  ,  and  like  alistair  himself  it  was  not  always  easy  .  long  nights  ,  busy  days  ,  sometimes  this  relationship  felt  like  it  was  set  up  to  fail  ..  and  then  they  got  their  moments  where  butterflies  flapped  their  wings  and  rose  spreaded  to  cheeks  and  it  really  seemed  like  it  would  work  ...  but   good  moments  ,  they  come  and  go  and  this  relationship  leaves  the  other  thinking  how  long  they  might  have  alistair  . 

                  I  GOT  A  BAD  IDEA  ( PAST  CONNECTION  ┋  OPEN   ) .    he  looked  to  his  left  and  saw  them  ,  and  when  he   looked  in  front  of  him  he  saw  the  bars  and  regrets  forming  .   these  two  were  a  duo  that  wreaked  havoc   ,  being  around  them  meant  cop  sirens  and  bad  decisions  .  these  two  were  ,  what  do  they  say  ?  young  and  dumb  .

                  WHOLE  SQUAD  MOBBIN  EVEN  THOUGH  WE  ONLY  SIX  DEEP  ( PAST  CONNECTION  ┋  OPEN   ) .    his  best  buddies  (  that  i  manage  are  still  apart  of  his  life  in  present  time  )  made  up  of  two  to  three  others  .  they  are  his  people  ,  his  picked  family  .   

                I  SWEAR  IF  I  EVER  LEFT  YOU  IN  THE  COLD  ,  IT’S  CAUSE  IT  WAS  COLDER  INSIDE   (  PRESENT  CONNECTION  ┋  OPEN   )  .   a  old  friend  who’s  no  longer  that  ,  a  friend  .  i  picture  this  to  be  more  complicated  then  what  it  seems  ,  but  picture  these  two  going  from  being  attached  at  the  hip  to  not  speaking  to  one  another  .

                  CAN  YOU  IMAGINE  ?   ( PAST  CONNECTION  ┋  OPEN   ) .    that  one  person  who  badly  wanted  something  more  from  alistair  and  got  exactly  the  opposite  .   lovers  in  the  way  of  intimacy  but  one  sided  emotionally  .

(   wolfgang  novogratz   &  brandon  routh   )   bopping  along  to  you’re  gonna  go  far  kid  by  the offspring  is  gerald  kennedy  ,  the  twenty  four  year  old  cis  man  thrown  back  to  their  statistics  days  with  some  of  his memories  .  voted  most  likely  to  most  likely  to  be  struck  by  lightning  ,  kenny  was  known  for  being  outgoing  &  reckless  ,  go  figures  you’d  always  find  him  dragging  himself  to  another  morning  practice  ,  but  grew  up  to  be  thoughtful  &  controlling  .

FIRST  PERIOD ,   or  2010 ,  the  first  time

raised in equal parts by a mother who deserved better and an older brother who knew better, gerald’s father was conveniently absent from his life — all he has is the last name. he’s been known to claim to be the forgotten bastard of one of the kennedys, but that's probably bullshit. there’s a name on a birth certificate somewhere. why hasn’t gerald kennedy asked to see his birth certificate? please circle the best answer: a. respect for his mother, b. the hassle, c. isn’t it better to believe in what you might be ? you can’t do that once you know, d. all of the above.

he picked up going by kenny when he started playing hockey which, thanks to an overzealous uncle attempting to be a father figure to his older sister’s kids, was pretty early. first it was kennedy, the name spelled out on the back of his jersey, but that quickly got shortened thanks to the attention spans of eight year old athletes. three syllables was clearly too much. he had never been fond of gerald, it was his grandfather’s name far more than it was his, and god forbid you call him gerry. he started introducing himself as kenny everywhere, not just at practice. it was easier.

turned out, kenny was pretty good at what he did. he played tripple a, ushl, and then wound up as a twenty one year old freshman at rvu playing ncaa. the hope was, he’d go major from there, or at least find his way to an ahl team. that was the plan. of course, plans don’t always work out.

voted most likely to get struck by lightning. the truth is, kenny isn’t all that unlucky, even if it seems like it. what he was, was someone who was rather reckless  (  all that bad luck was self manufactured  ). a bit of an adrenaline seeker, and decidedly someone who did before he thought, which landed him in a good number of situations that certainly seemed unlucky. he gave his coach a headache, but he was a good enough and dedicated enough player that he got kept around, albeit with a number of lectures and a few instances of community service.

[  tw.  major injury  ]  it was the summer after graduation when things fell apart. he was in talks with an ahl team, and he was celebrating the last four years with his friends. they were at a lake. things seemed perfect. however, a jump off a rope swing gone wrong and suddenly everything had changed.

SECOND  PERIOD ,   or  2020

[  tw.  major injury, drug mention  ]  doctors said he was lucky, it could have been worse, but he sure as hell doesn’t feel that way. his plan and the ahl contract was tossed out the window, his back was never the same. he takes painkillers to help. and that statistics degree? the one that was just meant to get him to practice, turned into a career. he’s an actuary now, and he’s well aware of the irony.

he still goes by kenny, at least in social situations, but he’s certainly not the same kenny that rvu knew ten years ago. sure, the parts are all there ( the kid who likes to travel and who slept around is now an adult with the money to afford going places he wants but still can’t hold a relationship ) but something is different. he’s more cautious for one, and doesn’t take unnecessary risks. while he used to be able to go with the flow, be carefree, the need to control things has developed, just wanting to feel like he’s got some command over a life that turned out completely different than he expected. he’s still outgoing though, and still has the same smile.

he’s convinced himself he’s over the accident, even if there are indicators otherwise. sure, being an actuary isn’t what he planned, but it’s not a terrible job and he is able to do things he wants. he coaches a mite team a few times a week and it’s a way to connect back to his old life. he’s content. 

THIRD  PERIOD ,   or  2010 ,  the  second  time

he’s not over it, is what he realizes when he wakes back up in 2010. maybe he was content, but he wasn’t happy, was he? the issue is, while kenny can remember parts of what’s going to happen, the injury itself alludes him like a shadow in the corner of his eye. he knows it’s there, he knows good sections of what happens after, but he doesn’t remember what it was. he just knows that he has to be careful. way more careful than last time.

this means that, while others might be hoping they get to return to their lives from before, kenny is pretty sure he wants to stay here, in this version of 2010 where he has some foresight. he’s not going to get greedy, he tells himself, won’t try to change too many things. he’s just got one thing he wants to change in this new 2010.

it also means that this version of kenny is seems... well, decidedly different  (  who are you and what did you do with the kid who jumped out of a second story window to break a folding table ?  ). if you have none of your memories, it might seem like he had done a 180 overnight. the need for control he’s grown into over the last ten years has become a quiet paranoia, the concern that something could happen around the next corner sitting heavy on his mind.

I. HISTORY.

juliet winona davenport grew up with great parents, roger and lucy, who loved art and expression and reading (ie why she is name juliet). they moved around a lot because her father lectured at different colleges and her mom was a painter who was always searching out her muse. for a few years, they even lived out of a winnebago and traveled all over the country. it was a weird life, but a good one. unfortunately, roger passed away when she was only 13. it was unexpected and it threw her mom off the rails- lucy had always been very eccentric and roger’s influence had kind of been the thing that tempered her before. without him, she started really giving in to the worst parts of herself. she drank too much, stopped paying bills, went off on impromptu trips without thinking about how it would affect jules. after a few years, lucy got remarried to a guy who encapsulated the worst aspects of herself. they call themselves artists but mostly they just drank and got high. they didn’t last long, but the dynamic between lucy and jules never really recovered.

for all intents and purposes, juliet had been left to raise herself. honestly though, she doesn’t hold a grudge against her mom. she knew that lucy didn’t mean to be screw her over. she was doing her best to cope with a horrible situation. the fact of the matter was that lucy wasn’t cut out to be a single parent. she hadn’t ever learned to process her grief, so she just checked out. instead, jules did what she thought was better for both of them- she stepped up. she made sure that there was food on the table, that the bills got paid whenever they came through, and that things ran smoothly around the house.

II. COLLEGE.

once she got to college, winnie immediately set to creating for herself a new and better identity than the shy girl that spent all day listening to music alone. perhaps in a last-ditch attempt to please her parents, winnie went into a marketing major. it turned out to be a very good fit for her, as her practice in rebranding herself taught her a lot about how to succeed in marketing and vice-versa. she was the kind of student that rarely spoke in class, but when she did it was because she had something worth saying.

she pushed herself to try new things, make new friends, leave behind her past and make the most of every day. and for the first time, winnie was genuinely happy with her situation. she filled her life, and the lives of the people that she cared about, with constant adventures- maybe because she hated staying stagnant.  like if she were to stay in one place for too long, her hurt might finally catch up with her and people would realize that there wasn’t actually anything special about her.

she was the kind of person who always knew exactly what was happening and where. if concerts were happening, she probably already had tickets. if there was a party going on, you could usually find her at the beer-pong table. though she wasn’t ‘popular’ in the sense of cliques and power, she was one of those people who went out of their way to know and befriend everybody- at least on a surface level.

III. PERSONALITY THEN.

okay so here’s the deal jules is so full of love and sweet but also pretty sad; just doing her best tbh

she never goes by her full name unless she is so so so close with the person she’s talking to. it’s what her dad picked out and she still has a lot of sadness there

jules is actually a pretty sweet, happy girl. she just wants to look out for people and make them happy, which is why she has gone into hospitality.

she would do anything for anyone and is all about helping. definitely does charity work when she has the time and has done tutoring in the past, although that was as much for the money. your girl is BROKE

she is way too trusting. she has always believed the best in people, regardless of whether they deserve that. it’s probably led to her being used by people before

she probably has a pretty solid little library going in her dorm left to her by her dad. it’s pretty much the only thing she would have taken from her old life

IV. AFTER COLLEGE.

once she graduated, jules spent a few years working at a hotel. she’d always been a hard worker and the type to serve with a smile, so she really had found a good role for herself. she had dreams of eventually opening up a little bed and breakfast.

she ended up getting into a really serious relationship ( WANTED CONNECTION ) , the kind that really changes a person. she was head over heels in love with this person, honestly. things were going really well until one day they weren’t and before she could even process it, the relationship just ended. after the breakup, juliet really threw herself into her work. much like her mother, she wasn’t the type to sit with her pain. she wanted to be on her feet, moving all the time, never having to really process it.

because of her single-minded dedication to the job, juliet soon found herself rising in the ranks until she had a high level role in the management of the entire hotel chain. recently though, she’s been starting to wonder if she’s actually happy with the role. it isn’t something that she really ever wanted to do, and it’s kind of taken her away from the parts of the job that she loved the most.

V. PERSONALITY NOW.

juliet still has a lot of love in her heart and still keeps close friendships with people that matter to her. but she’s a lot more guarded now. there’s a hesitancy toward letting people in now that she knows how hard it is to see them leave

she’s a bit of a workaholic now, the type who is always checking their phone to see if new emails have come through.

she’s begun looking back at her time before her current job nostalgically. she’s not sure that she wants to make a change, or even that she’s brave enough to take a risk, but thoughts of her original dreams keep popping up in her head

VI. MEMORIES.

she has very some of her memories, bits and flashes. important moments, relationships, life changes- they’re there on the edge of her mind but she just can’t seem to reach them.

penny  buchanan  is,  and  always  has  been,  unremarkable,  at  least  in  her  own  eyes.  a  christian  sorority  girl  from  texas  ?  they’re  a  dime  a  dozen.  not  to  mention  penny  is  the  second  youngest  of  four  girls,  all  of  whom  look  remarkably  similar.  the  buchanan  girls  came  as  a  package  deal.  penny  spent  every  minute  with  her  sisters  growing  up  (  though  many  of  those  minutes  were  spent  at  war  ),  trying  to  ignore  their  parents’  relationship  crumbling  irreversibly  as  the  years  went  on.  it  was  an  open  secret  that  glenn  buchanan  was  not  entirely  faithful  to  his  wife.  but  they  brushed  it  under  the  rug;  after  all,  what  else  were  they  supposed  to  do,  divorce  ?  now  that  wouldn’t  be  very  christian,  would  it  ?

    equivalent  to  a  nightmare  ,  when  the  sun  forgets  to  rise  and  feet  forgot  how  to  move  ;   she  was  haunted  by  a  ghost  who  had  her  face  .   swore  she  could  hear  her  in  the  dead  of  the  night  ,  and  sometimes  even  in  broad  daylight  .   grief  left  her  clinging  to  bedsheets  that  still  lingered  of  her  sister’s  memory  ,  and  soon  her  emerald  hues  became  a  reminder  of  a  child  lost  .   she  no  longer  had  her  sister  to  hide  behind  ,  and  her  parent’s  were  no  longer  able  to  pretend  they  could  look  her  in  the  eye  .

reminded  herself  she  was  alive  until  tears  hung  in  her  eyes  and  screams  left  her  mouth  until  voice  was  no  longer  recognizable    .  she  might  not  be  able  to  live  life  by  her  sister’s  side  ,  but  she  could  live  life  for  her  sister  .    that  night  ,  her  hands  were  drenched  in  cold  glue  from  gluing  herself  back  together  .  and  after  that  ,  cloudy  skies  cleared  and  only  the  lingering  smell  of  raindrops  remained  .  she’d  never  get  over  it  ,  but  she  would  not  become  it  .

grief  no  longer   visible  in  tawny  features  ,   she   radiated  a  warmness  that  seemed  to  be  nothing  but  intoxicating  .   clung  to  a  desperation  to  escape  a  town  filled  with  broken  hearts  and  disappointment   and  took  a  big  deep  breath  of  a  new  beginning  at   rom  valley  university  .

she  was  a  face  you  spotted  everywhere  ,  on  the  sidelines  with  pom  poms  in  her  hands  and  in  class  whispering  about  how  she  had  no  idea  what  was  going  on   .   being  involved  was  something  she  thrived  on  ,   and  because  of  that  she  was  known  for  being  the  social  butterfly  ,   the  chatter  bug  ,  and  the  girl  who  always  had  a  smile  on  her  face  . 

 not  a  dumb  girl  ,  but  she  happened  to  be  one  of  those  people  who   prioritized  their  social  life  instead  of  their  grades  .  had  to  really  apply  herself  for  anything  above  a  low  b  ,   but  as  we  all  say  c’s  get  degree’s  .  and   truthfully  she  was  more  worried  enjoying  life  rather  then  having  a  break  down  over  a  calculus  class  .  

had  a  bad  habit  of  speaking  without  thinking  ,  and  feeling  without  processing  .  life  is  too  short  so  she  refuses  to  be   someone  who  keeps  her  emotions  bottled  up  .   instead   wears  them  in  facial  expressions  and  words  of  anger  or  joy  or  sadness  .  if  you  did  something  wrong  ,  she’ll  tell  you  .  if  she’s  feeling  a  type  of  way  ,  you’ll  know  .  but  because  of  this  she  is  very  forward  with  showing  those  she  cares  about  ,  she  cares  about  them  .  her  love  language  is  pecks  on  the  lips  and  i  love  you’s  before  she  ends  the  call  .

not  as  open  as  she  used  to  be  ,  but  she  still  shines  bright  .   learned  to  bite  her  tongue  and  control  her  careless  ways  .  in  some  ways  ,  she  simply  just  matured  ,  no  longer  that  twenty  year  old  something  that  can  get  away  with  screaming  in  the  rain  because  she  needed  to  get  it  off  her  chest  .

thinks  about  her  sister  more  then  she  did  before  ,   her  mother  says  it’s  because  she’s  experiencing  firsts  that  she  wishes  her  sister  was  there  to  see  .  she  still  refuses  to  show  her  bleeding  wounds  ,  instead  bandages  them  up  every  night  and  whispers  i  miss  you’s  to  the  sky  .

fell  into  the  career  of  a  wedding  planner  and  has  never  been  so  in  love  with  a  job  before  ,  it’s  everything  she  had  ever  hoped  for  .  she  gets  to  be  creative  ,  interact  with  people  on  the  daily  ,  and  make  other’s  happy  .  though  ,  it  has  made  her  a  true  romantic  .

her  relationship  with  her  parents  is  special   , something  that  formed  as  she  got  older  and  began  to  understand  that  yes  she  lost  her  other  half  ,  but  they  too  lost  a  child  .   she’s  grateful  for  her  parents  and  is  constantly  reminding  herself  to  give  them  some  extra  love  .  at  the  end  of  the  day  ,  they  are  all  she  has  . 

she  lives  in  the  city  of  new  york  in  a  beautiful  apartment  ,  and  while  it  is  such  a  different  atmosphere  then  the  small  town  she  was  raised  in  ,  she  enjoys  it  .   but  her  being  her  ,  she  still  needs  to  experience  as  much  as  she  can  and  so  you’ll  her  packing  her  bags  every  so  often  and  living  it  up  in  a  different  country  or  a  different  city  for  a  few  weeks  and  of  course  dragging  a  few  of  her  friends  with  her  .

it  feels  like  a  case  of  deja  vu   ,  so  familiar  she  has  to  stop  and  think  about  it  for  a  little  .   swears  she  see’s  pieces  of  her  future  in  her  dreams  ,  and  yet  they  feel  so  real  it’s  almost  as  if  she’s  already  lived  it  .  sometimes  she  feels  like  she’s  going  crazy  ,  but  most  time  she’s  losing  herself  in  the  moment  .

she  wears  her  sister’s  ashes  in  a  wing  shaped  necklace  ,   and  later  on  decided  to  get  something  permanent  via  tattoo  .   her  tattoo  is  located  on  her inner  arm   and  looks  a  little  something  like  this  . 

she’s  a  travel  bug  ,  and  has  been  to  countless  of  places  .  she’s  one  of  those  people  who  has  a  journal  tucked  away  with  every  single  place  she  has  ever  wanted  to  visit  and  she  will  complete  her  list  .

in  college  ,  she  was  one  of  those  people  who  wrote  the  prettiest  notes  that  you  have  ever  seen  ,  did  she  waste  more  time  writing  them  then  actually  studying  ?  yes  .

she  started  playing  soccer  in  elementary   school  and  actually  studied  at   rvu  on  a  scholarship  .  it  was  one  of  the  first  activities  that  arizona  did  outside  of  her  sister  and  after  her  passing  it  because  a  way  to  get  her  mind  off  of  her  passing  .

                  I  KNOW  YOU  SAID  LEAVE  ,  BUT  FUCK  WHAT  YOU  SAID  .  CAUSE  YOU’RE  STEADY  CRAWLING  ON  YOUR  KNEES  AGAIN  ,  YOU  NEED  A  FRIEND  (  PAST  CONNECTION  ┋  OPEN   )  .    this  was  someone  that  brought  the  worse  out  in  arizona  .   they  are  the  whispers  of  careless  actions  in  each  other  ears  and  blurry  lines  of  what  they  are  to  each  other  .  stolen  kisses  and  screaming  voices  the  consequence  of  that  .  but  regardless  of  where  they  stand  in  one  another’s  life  ,  they’re  the  prime  example  that  not  every  bond  should  last  .

hi everyone ! i wasn’t a part of this last time but i’m so glad it’s back so i can experience roleplaying in this lovely group ! there’s a bit about felicity under the cut (may have got a bit carried away) !

(   sienna  miller  &  jennifer  aniston   )   bopping  along to  2010  kickstarts  by  example  is  felicity  alderidge  ,  the   thirty  nine  year  old  cis  woman  thrown  back  to  their   accountancy  days  with  none  of  her  memories  .  voted  most  likely  to  become  a  real  housewife  ,  fliss  was  known  for  being   genuine  &  naive  ,  go  figures  you’d  always  find  them   burning  pizza  ,  but  grew  up  to  be  humorous  &  defensive  .   ✎   elle  ,  22  ,  she/her  ,  gmt  .

the first person that comes to mind when the alderidge family is mentioned is her mother, celeste alderidge. the  woman did it all whilst being a single parent in london. she worked  hard for her daughter and sure enough, the both of them found themselves  in to rich part of london leading a very luxurious lifestyle.

it  wasn’t always like that. felicity’s mother worked hard and her childhood was far from typical as far as her experiences went. her mother was determined to extend her business in vegan cosmetics to the world all whilst raising her child. it was strange to see the woman prosper without a man at that time but they looked up to her and it made  sure that fliss always had a role model.

as money was tight at first, fliss started out as a model for her mother’s products. yes, it was scandalous to put a child in the magazines wearing makeup that she shouldn’t have been but the girl was compliant and wanted to pay her mother back for everything she had done for her. she had never been bitter towards it or made a fuss over it.  the talk did launch the brand into the spotlight and whilst others would let the negativity end the brand, celeste alderidge didn’t.

multiple opportunities came for fliss after that; she started modelling as a child and her mother used the money to expand the product line as well as into pitches to make sure that they were to get some sales. fliss participated in london fashion week and all the other’s seemed to follow that.

as the girl was so busy, felicity never found herself at a school (hello, homeschool), and this caused her to lead a very sheltered life and some would say she’s still like this. she’s missed  out on the normal experiences whilst being on these amazing adventures  and she can never get those opportunities back. all the opportunities in  her life were because of her mother; without her, they would have never  happened and she knows that.

as she grew  up, felicity did fall back on her good looks and charm. despite being  the daughter of celeste (whose name was now actually trade marked at  this point), the woman taught her manners. some said that her mother was  training her to be in pageants by some of the things that came out of  her mouth but it was really down to her naivety; she just didn’t know what was going on around her or the troubles that others were facing...

as she has lead a luxurious life of privilege since she can remember,  fliss has grown to accept certain standards, not only with others  but of herself. she has always found herself in high pressure environments, one would think that she would be used to them by now but she is one to crumble easily. however, luckily for her, her mother was always there to tidy up her mistakes but nothing was ever free in that  respect.

after she stopped modelling in her late twenties, her mother invited her to be the coo of CELESTE cosmetics in their los angeles hq and with nothing else going for her, she gratefully accepted.

it’s not fliss’s fault that she hasn’t had to work for anything, she has been handed things but she has always been thankful and worked her hardest. she does lack certain skills but is very easy to talk to when she isn’t panicked. when she finds herself in a high pressured environment, she does find herself flapping and she gets very, very  flustered. she just wants to do well, especially for her mother but the more she panics, the worse the situation gets...

she is easy to get along with but her naivety was very frustrating when she was reaching 40 in college. she’s definitely a type b personality that needs  to be protected and guided.

she’s wasn’t as close to her mother anymore and it definitely showed in the company. celeste had started to do pitches and hold meetings without her, fliss was just been left with the basic things and others below her have slowly  stepped in to take over her duties. she did notice it but decided to give her mother the benefit of the doubt, boy, was that the wrong choice.

a rumour started circulating around the company that felicity had been given an  ultimatum; she either proved herself or she was going to be let go. her mother knows that she doesn’t do well in pressured situations and she started to panic about her life. she took it upon herself to go to college, knowing full well that she probably wouldn’t meet the woman’s high expectations and she’d have to go solo.

she had been invested in the company since she was six years old, it’s been her mother’s goal and everything she did was to make sure that she got there; there was never any room for her goals and now it’s scaring her to think that she has no  aspirations in life, doesn’t have a relationship and doesn’t know where to start with it all. fliss has always been a people pleaser,  especially when it came to her mother and now she realises that she’s completely lost if her mother shuts her out.

gwendolyn’s  a really loyal friend to have and her naivety has protected her purity  and genuine nature over the years. however, it’s left her unable to  stand up for herself so rather than fighting, she will just apologise  and try to overcompensate. her self-esteem is at an all time low and she  doesn’t really know what to do with it.

in amidst her mother’s warning, the woman made sure that she was evicted out of her manhattan apartment and she . she’s very clueless and can’t cook but she’s trying to learn.

some quick facts about her in 2010, 2010 timeline ideas:

she worked as the coo of lancaster cosmetics but if your character uses the products, they would be under the name of CELESTE

as stated, she was a people-pleaser so she did everything she could to help your muse and make them happy, even if it meant getting herself into trouble.

although her mother set impossible standards to follow, she was even harsher on herself and this just made her mess up more as she panicked.

some of her colleagues referred to her as either ‘princess peach’ or ‘the  stepford wife’ as she was always smiling and always seemed to brush things under the carpet; she was scared of getting serious so made jokes when she felt vulnerable. still, she was a great laugh at a party so it wasn’t not bad. all joking aside, it’s clear that her colleagues didn’t respect her.

in all honestly, she was expecting to be handed the company a couple of years ago as there was a rumour going  round that celeste was going to retire but that never happened. again, it fitted into the idea of her being entitled. just because it’s her mother’s company didn’t mean she’s the best person to run it,  unfortunately...

she collected stationery items, in particular notebooks and rubbers

after graduation:

since graduating, life didn’t go how it wanted her to go. she worked hard thinking that her mother would finally promote her in the company but that didn’t happen. it was a strange relationship, the mother / daughter one now gone placed by boss / disgruntled employee. however, fliss felt like she couldn’t do anything about it; she had put so much effort into it for all these years and wasn’t about to give up.

a few years after, she did find herself engaged (to a millionnaire because elitist standards ) but it wasn’t because she was in love, it was a distraction more than anything. she wanted to be wanted and rushed into the whole thing. he had two children from his previous marriage so that was also a strange dynamic for her. however, she tried her best to be agreeable as possible.

after being named the most likely to become a real housewife after graduating, that came true, on the west coast. she joined in season 4 and it’s still running now.

it was hard having her divorce on the show, as well as them showing the relationship she had with her mother. viewers could see that she was in it for the opportunities. despite majoring in accountancy, her mother still didn’t trust her to handle the books, or promote her.

she does have a heart of gold but more often than not on the show, she comes across as very defensive so fights escalate rather quickly with her. she’s always been emotional, now she shows it in a different way, one that seems to come more from anger.

fliss doesn’t like the surface friendships she has on the show. whenever she has so much as opened up to someone, another has always fed it back to the group. they’re all guilty of gossiping but when it’s constantly turned on her and her so-called behaviour (of partying too much and still acting like she’s in her twenties), people start to get vicious with it.

she doesn’t feel like anything has really changed for her and she has still to take the leap and cut her mother out. however, that’s a scary thing for her.

she considers herself as pansexual/demi-romantic as she falls in love with people, not anything else but she’s only had a few serious relationship.

due to her upbringing, she can come across as entitled as she just expects things and doesn’t even realise she’s doing it.

she really does believe that everything can be sorted with a cup of tea and a charity benefit gala, yes, she’s that bitch.
