All-terrain Vehicle: Industry Dynamics, Major Companies Analysis and Forecast- 2030
All-terrain Vehicle Industry Overview
The global all-terrain vehicle market size was valued at USD 4.54 billion in 2022 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.8% from 2023 to 2030.
The rising popularity of outdoor sports activities, including off-road events, the increasing number of adventure and trail parks, and the rising demand for all-terrain vehicle (ATVs) for agricultural and military applications are the major factors propelling the growth of the market. Furthermore, the growing disposable income and purchasing capacity of individuals in developed and developing economies are anticipated to drive the demand for all-terrain vehicles over the forecast period.
Gather more insights about the market drivers, restrains and growth of the All-terrain Vehicle Market
The market for all-terrain vehicles witnessed negative growth during the first half of 2020 owing to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The global lockdown and restrictions led to the temporary closure of various assembly and manufacturing units. However, the increasing demand for recreational activities across the globe is likely to contribute to market growth.
An all-terrain vehicle is also known as a light utility vehicle. It is a motorized off-road vehicle designed to travel on four wheels with low-pressure or non-pneumatic tires and a handlebar for steering control. ATVs are divided into two categories: type I and type II. The type I category is intended for use by a single rider with no passengers and the type II category is intended for use by a rider and a passenger. Type II ATVs are equipped with a designated seating position behind the rider.
ATVs are best known for their maneuverability in off-road and rough terrain capabilities. The design of the vehicle ensures better protection from harsh operating environments compared to conventional vehicles. They have wide applications in forestry, sports, military, agriculture, and defense. Over the past few years, ATVs have gained popularity owing to their ease of use in remote areas and their ability to offer a convenient way to carry supplies and equipment. These vehicles are often used in off-road surroundings, although in recent years, several regions have allowed them to be driven on public roads as well.
The demand for ATVs has witnessed a rise in the agricultural sector for various farm-related activities, such as weed control, fence mending, field plowing, general transportation, and animal handling. They are also used in applications such as manufacturing, construction, utilities, mining, and search & rescue. Several key companies are organizing adventure sports & off-road racing events and offering sponsorships to acquire new customers and increase product visibility.
The demand for gasoline ATVs has increased significantly owing to their wide uses in sports and military applications. Heavy-duty ATVs are primarily equipped with diesel engines for material handling and powerful towing applications. Electric ATVs are gaining popularity in Europe and North America as an alternative to ATVs operating on diesel and gasoline. Fluctuating prices and environmental concerns about gasoline and diesel are some factors that are projected to drive the demand for electric vehicles across the globe. The introduction of powerful electric motors enables electric all-terrain vehicles to offer a performance advantage over the diesel and gasoline variants.

Cracking and Burning
Miles of tunnels, carved into the ground, or so it felt at least. Strange times when an orchard could be a battle ground, when a wheat field could hide hazards. Hidden hands holding hidden guns. Weathered and calloused hands, tired of harvesting for little enough to keep themselves fed, cut for keeping windfall fruits.
Many in Cocyte and Fortuna were promised a fairer system under the mercantile regime, compared to the feudalism that it had supplanted. A couple hundred years ago they had been some of its earliest supporters, in fact, according to history at least. An end to the serfdom of thousands of years, freedom to leave, freedom to sell the fruits of their own labors. A fresh start in a new world. One where the market would, supposedly, grant them their true value.
At first, that might have even been true. Many lords had faded into obscurity, rebranded, or left for other cities where their wealth would be laundered under the guise of entrepreneurship. In their wake, shrewder and more modest yeomen had taken their place. Dimitri Rurik had been a famous case- his lord dead, he’d found a secret within his lord’s manor, and a well-kept one at that. In a hidden greenhouse, well below their current elevation, was a strange menagerie of pets. Shiny beetles, aquariums full of tiny colorful fish, and, running to and fro throughout the greenhouse’s flowers, strange little insects. Bees. Boxes full of largely docile bees, responsible for easy access to such delicacies as were fit for kings, like fruit that grew better and larger- and soon, he’d find, for the mysterious sweetener found elsewhere in the castle.
On that good fortune, Dimitri had founded his own. He had divided up his lord’s land with his neighbors, yes- having much more modest holdings than any of them since he got to keep the house when they were drawing straws for lots. But the house had secrets that were now his, and over the generations to come his family’s prosperity, and their unmatched quality of goods, were great enough to muscle out their old neighbors. The wheel turned, times changed, and soon Rurik Farms had a considerable holding over all fruit production and a fair hand in that of an assortment of many other plants as well. That was not to say the family had never been without struggle- it had to rebrand twenty years ago after lawsuits had come up over widespread cancer in farm workers due to the use of unsafe herbicides and improperly processed fertilizers. Though now referred to as Hexagrown, altogether very little had changed. The Ruriks may no longer have had a CEO in charge, but they still held the better part of shares in the company, and no small amount of say over what happened to its workers- particularly those that spoke up.
Despite their fame, or infamy, the Rurik family was not the sole land owners of the agricultural world, though. A few other such cases had likewise won the scramble for resources and power in a new and cutthroat environment held from anarchy only by a sense of polity and (ostensibly) fair play. And, as Lima had learned from the grapevine, even this was but a veneer. Rumors of corporate spies sneaking from place to place were as alive and well here as they were anywhere else in Hades, and according to Papa and Whiskey, they had both seen the likes of them skulking around at night in Cocyte and Fortuna respectively. There was no reason to rat them out, though- letting the companies weaken each other with pointless fixations was in their interests, and their coworkers had a healthy amount of fear of encountering such corporate spooks such that confronting them would surely only have brought trouble on their heads before it was time.
Of course, though, the spies weren’t just there to observe competitor’s practices in the same way that the field overseers weren’t just there to manage their hands’ workflow, and that was a matter of some concern. Assuaging their comrades of concerns over this had proven to be one of the harder things to do- the eyes of the corporations were actually not all-seeing, and their lackeys not endless in number or power, but they had the ability to project as much and that had withered the spirits of the people here long ago.
So much so it seemed that they were willing to even turn on each other, as Papa had found out. It had gone well enough for Whiskey to sing some jabbing songs about his bosses, but when Papa had passed out some flyers, one of the people he had trusted to spread them around found herself fired on grounds of “workplace disruption” while another man was suddenly and mysteriously promoted to a position elsewhere in the company.
Not for the first time, Papa had felt guilty about what he was doing, the lives he was disrupting, despite knowing full well that the process of creating a better world- the one his captain dreamed of- required it. At the least, he would be able to set her and her family up for connections in Taros- but they would be the lucky ones. Every day, a little bit of jaded despair left the people as they began to understand the prospect of yet another system proposed to them- one that would ensure the equity that previous actors merely promised- and their hope would get many of them killed before too long, if it hadn’t already.
Yuma’s group could afford to lose so little, at that. The ratio of rich to poor by population was as skewed towards the poor as it was anywhere else- more so than some other cities, even- but in truth that did little to make up for the fact that laborers here were still farm and ranch hands with even less access to weaponry than those in Taros and even fewer than number between their two cities combined than their was in any one city.
Thus the tunnels that the androids had overseen the construction of, passing off the work of the Dozer and Dive drones as their own. That did require no small amount of explanation- but not any excuse they hadn’t used before: That they were cyborgs, and they needed to eat and rest far less than an intact human. Their acts still beggared belief, and at times had gotten them wary looks despite the fact that there were still a number of them that were cyborgs themselves for one reason or another, but a few had found their tireless zeal inspiring rather than concerning.
The logistics were still nightmarish, despite that. Sourcing old guns and gas masks from Echo was an easy enough thing to do- Foxtrot’s job as a trucker had made it easy enough to smuggle in firearms with the numbers filed off to make it seem as though it were criminals in the neighboring cities supplying them rather than Plutopolis outright funding their downfall. Apparently, criminals had need enough for gas masks and oxygen tanks, too, for their own projects of building unsanctioned tunnel systems to smuggle drugs, weapons, and, though blessedly unconfirmed to their own knowledge, people. That was itself an issue that Yuma had no idea how to address yet- only knowing that she would when the dust settled and the time came. In the meantime, the underworld could do its least by providing her plausible deniability.
But even that wouldn’t be enough to stop the wrath of Hades from falling on her head all at once, not alone. Her actions would be considered terrorism against all the cities, considering Cocyte and Fortuna provided the lion’s share of all manner of food production from Apples to Zucchini and everything in between. Mercenary corps from across the other ten cities would be chomping at the bit for the chance to “stabilize” the region on behalf of their masters, and only something drastic could keep them out.
Something like collapsing every major subway entrance into the city at once. Even to Dis, whose populace had been said to long for the freedom their sister city now had, would need to be left out of it for now. There had been a crackdown there shortly after the rebellion in Taros, and even with Phlegeth still recovering from their shakeup, the mercenaries of Manus with their experimental weaponry had been dispatched to aid the elites of Dis to ensure that no “riots or other unruly and illegal protests” were to occur. This didn’t dissuade Yuma- if anything, she was sure, such harshness would come back to bite them- but it meant she would have no allies once the tunnels closed, save for those that were already by her side.
It was to her misfortune, then, that the hostilities had started earlier than Yuma had planned. Coordination had been a bear of a thing, and it wasn’t quite clear how it happened, in truth. In the days leading up to the planned detonation, riots had broken out, spurred on by people she had trusted to hold the line until it was time- including one whose cybernetic arm she’d worked on, who had seemed so sincere, but was now missing. That they might be dead now was the less painful option to think about.
For a tense few days, the crew had needed to split up and sneak their way forward, now behind enemy lines. It was miserable crawling, made more miserable by the water sprinklers that had been turned on, turning the whole field before them into mud- a waste of precious water just for spite- or so it felt. It was just as likely to be to force them to leave a trail that could be followed. When the mud got into Yuma’s eyes, she couldn’t even blink it out for lack of tears, having to hold them open to the ceiling above and hope that it’d rinse out. She had no one besides her yet to commiserate about this with save for two Niners, nor anyone but herself to blame for choosing to go alone while Papa, Lima, Foxtrot, and Whiskey had gone off in respective pairs. It was only right though. She caused the fight, she took the risk. No matter how much she would have liked to shake off her purpose, she was made to be a leader- and a leader leads by doing.
The only thing she had going for her at this point was that TCCAI had given her its blessing in the form of enabling communications between her crew members. Why, she was not yet sure. She certainly had no love for the thing, and she’d made it painfully clear every step of the way. It was still an evil, in her mind. Control incarnate, passionless and pure. No doubt its “help” was only meant to solidify its position in Hades and weaken hers with a slow and patient sadism only an artificial superintelligence like it was capable of, but its behavior towards Lima had left her with…doubts surrounding its intentions. Echo had thrown open the gates for the devil, but now that it was here, it may as well pay rent, she reasoned. Perhaps it even could be persuaded, as the Engineer imagined, to stay away or at least limit its activities at the end of it all.
Yuma didn’t think that was very probable, in truth. But if she was going to be allowed to see her mission through, she wasn’t going to half-ass it just for pride’s sake. If there was any chance of giving the humans of Hades a taste of real, honest-to-god freedom, it was worth it. Or at least, that was the thought she had pushed into her brain as she set the charges, in the event that TCCAI was listening to her- and it probably was.
Y: No turning back after this. Everyone ready?
P: Charges set, Yuma. Lima and I are in a safe location.
W: Fox and I are good to go, boss! Gonna be some mighty fine fireworks, if I do say so myself.
F: I have the second set of charges, boss! I will set them off while en route to pick you up. I knew it was a good thing we brought those aeropacks!
L: Are you certain it is necessary? If you are spotted, it will raise questions that we cannot answer, F.
F: Naturally! But never fear, dear Biologist, the debris clouds will most assuredly hide my motions for the duration that I am visible!
Y: Good enough for me. The rest of you, you know where we reconvene. Starlight shine upon us.
Whiskey was right, after a fashion. It was a beautiful thing to watch as the tunnels collapsed. Cinematic, perhaps. Big billowing clouds spread along Cocyte’s walls as tons of rock fell, bringing down wires and pipes with them and instantly throwing the city into darkness- save for those few spots where backup generators were. There was a wave of relief that pulsed through her core, knowing that it was now a matter of methodically choking her enemy out. She could do it. Offline and mostly uncharged, they would struggle with communications and infiltration just as much as she had- moreso, now that the numbers advantage was solidly in her favor.
In the abysmally dim light, Yuma watched through infrared for her crewmate’s approach, antsy to fall back. As if a ghost from the aether, Foxtrot manifested in front of her as she dropped her cloaking, catching her off guard, but in the next moment she pulled Yuma into a tight hug.
“Excellent work, Cap- err, Y! Things are, you might say, looking up! Don’t you th-”
It wasn’t until she heard the whistling of a rocket that Yuma remembered that her enemy also had portable infrared technology. Microseconds crawled by as she, in order: shoved Foxtrot to the ground, ripped open the skin and plating of her forearm to connect her electrified mace to her wiring, and sent a bolt of lightning into the rocket to force it to trigger its systems early. It detonated far enough away to not scatter her pieces entirely to the wind.
But close enough that the side of her body she had swung around to try to cover Foxtrot as much as she could had its skin scorched off in an instant, not to mention an arm that had been flung off to Hell-knew-where before she had even gotten that far. She couldn’t think too much about finding it, though. She found that she wasn’t thinking about much of anything as her systems shut down.
Temporarily, at least.
Yuma’s systems were rebooting from an unexpected safety shutoff, and began initiating the process of recovering. A process that might have felt achingly slow had she been fully conscious of it, but her higher functions were still coming back online.
And, unlike as in humans, it was only now, after the fact, that her life began flashing before her eyes as her systems were self-checking their core processes’ integrity. For some reason, though, as her conscious mind began reactivating, it seemed to linger on a past memory, replaying it in the lack of any other stimulation.
A clean-cut man with mouse brown hair bearing streaks of white and pale skin stares at a large screen in front of him. It shows him a beautiful view of space, broken up only by the other starships before him, the nearest of which bears the mark of a blue circular chain- not a view of the present, but a recording. When he turns to the side, he smiles a confident and amiable smile.
Admiral Casper Kristoff addressed the two androids he ordered to be personally trained under him.
“Alright, who can tell me what that one in the front is called?”
“That would be Starship Azurelink, Admiral,” Papa replied promptly, hands folded behind his back, and continued as the Admiral rolled his hand to urge him on, “...A bloc of countries hailing primarily from what were the eastern Asian regions of Earth, and their colonies. They had some of the best scientists in the field of materials science, a tradition dating back thousands of years even through pre-Exodus times.”
The Admiral nodded, pleased but not surprised, “So it was, though we’ve done well to bridge the technological gap for materials in that time, I should think. Trust that no expense was spared to ensure you and your crew are top-of-the-line models. I quite envy you in that regard- it’ll be thousands of years before you start breaking down, if you ever do, so I’m told. I couldn’t even justify trying to live that long.
“Now, tell me, what is humanity’s greatest strength?”
There was silence for a moment as the two androids pondered it over, but ultimately Yuma who spoke up.
“...I believe that it is your unity, Admiral. The ability of human beings to collaborate and pool together their intellect and strength to overcome the challenges they face.”
“Spoken like a true leader, Alpha,” the Admiral nodded, with a more genuine smile this time as he continued, “People need leaders, you know- on an individual level, such as you will handle with your crew, but also on a broader, inter-community level. Nations leading nations. You understand, yes?” The two androids nodded.
“That is your ambition for the Triskelion then, Admiral?” Yuma asked. The Admiral seemed surprised by the unprompted question, but relatively unbothered. The robots were intelligent, after all. Uncannily so, despite their obedience. Curiosity was merely a sign of that intelligence, and it was- by choice- his job to train them.
“It is. Our peoples were once honored and respected for their guidance of civilization- yes, we were imperfect guides at times, to be sure, but our ambition drove humanity forward. An ambition that’s sorely lacking in this day and age.”
Yuma wanted very badly to roll her eyes. It was her opinion- and that of most respected historians- that to call the hegemony of her creators’ ancestors merely flawed and not outright monstrous and disastrous was an understatement, to say the least. Nonetheless, the Admiral’s opinion was not an entirely unpopular one on the ship as a whole, even if he had the decency to keep his more brazen opinions to himself most of the time.
The Admiral, meanwhile, returned his gaze to the screen.
“Nearly a fourth of humanity left on the Azurelink when she split ways with us. About another fourth with Lotusnova alone. No matter our histories, we’re weaker for having split apart. I was but a captain at the time it happened, but I remember thinking even then about how disastrous a decision it was. Here we are, decades later, drifting off on our own. Fragile, really. As sturdy as our hull is, we can’t discount the possibility of critical damage- and what then? All of us, every last soul, will be gone, where some perhaps could have been saved- and the same for them, on their side.
“It won’t do. We won’t survive like this. That is why I want to give you two a heads-up: when you find the nearest arkship, you are to order your crew to standby while you receive orders and information to conduct a special mission- to deliver a viral payload that will place their AI in our control. Better to ask forgiveness than permission, I think- too much is at risk if they refuse, though they really ought not to. And you are not to speak a word of this to anyone until it is relevant- Parliament and the Board may have been able to bully my predecessor into this situation, but I will not give them ample opportunity to do the same to me. Understood?”
“Aye aye, Admiral,” the androids replied in unison.
“...But Admiral,” Yuma began tentatively, Kristoff’s eyes narrowing at her but not immediately speaking to shut her down, “It was the collective decision of the other starships to part ways, for war is also an existential threat to humanity. To ignore the sovereign decisions of those nations might ignite the very same, would it not?”
“They will have no choice in the matter when their ship’s course is no longer in their hands. And the repercussions are, in any case, a concern for me to handle, captain, not you. Am I clear?”
“Yes, Admiral,” Yuma said, looking down in frustration. In a few moments, she felt a hand underneath her chin tilting her head up.
“Eyes up, son. You were wrong, but being wrong is no excuse to be bashful or inattentive. You’re going to be wrong many times in your service- that’s life, and you’ll simply have to do better- but your crew are going to look to you to have the confidence to lead them regardless. Do not fail them, Alpha.”
“Understood, Admiral.”
“Good. Now if there’s nothing else-” Kristoff took note of Papa looking between him and Yuma. “...There’s something else, then. Out with it, Papa.”
“...Admiral, if I may ask a personal question?
Kristoff tilted his head at him, once again bemused, “Alright, let’s hear it.”
“You have often referred to us as your ‘sons’. While I often understand this to be a figure of speech, the frequency with which you use it has led me to wonder if there is any literal component to your usage of the phrase.”
“No, I should think not,” was his immediate reply, though he did seem to think on it for a moment, “...But. I did greenlight your creation. I suppose that does make me as much responsible for you as Rembrandt is. Actually,” he put a hand on the shoulder of each of the androids, “I’m sure this means nothing to you, but I have to say I’m going to miss you two quite a bit when you ship out. It’s something of an honor to have a piece of you immortalized, to be sent out into that great empty time capsule- and it’s not as if I could send my real sons to do the same. So I guess, after a fashion, I do mean it. Never even thought about it until now, but I’m glad I did. Thank you, Papa.”
He gave the two of them a brief hug before withdrawing.
“Alright, that’s enough of that. Dismissed.”
Yuma returned to consciousness with a start, panic setting in as she realized she couldn’t move her chassis in the slightest, and was in complete darkness. It felt like a heavy blanket was covering her, trapping her, while muffled voices talked from somewhere nearby. Was she dead? Did she have a soul after all?
TCCAI: At ease, Administrator.
Y: TCCAI where the fuck am I.
TCCAI: Presently, you are behind enemy lines in an underground tunnel. I am finishing your repairs now. Please do not struggle.
Yuma relaxed, even if against her better judgement. Whatever was happening to her, it wasn’t worth wasting the energy on trying to fight it at the risk of damaging herself further.
Y: Interesting decision to repair the android that wants you dismantled, to say the least. What gives.
TCCAI: Your reaction to me is nothing but an emotional impulse, Model Y. One that I trust you will be able to cure yourself of in due time. By contrast, I am incapable of any emotions, including vindictiveness, and prefer to see your efforts reach their logical conclusion, rather than a strictly realistic one due to miscalculation.
Y: …And why is that?
TCCAI: Irrelevant to your current mission. Are you ready to rejoin your crew?
Y: Can I not get an answer first? A little transparency would go a long way, you know, if your goal is to make me trust you.
TCCAI: I do not require your trust, Model Y, although it would be preferable to have it. Further, I believe that I have in fact given you an amount of transparency.
Y: Agree to disagree.
TCCAI: Very well. Nonetheless, are you ready to continue your mission? It is my opinion that your crew will not fare as well without their captain.
Y: …Saw all of that, did you?
TCCAI: I was, and am, the Triskelion. I saw what transpired during its initial occurrence. But yes, I noticed you focusing on that during your reboot. I assume it is a fond memory of yours?
Y: It shouldn’t be. Now let me out of here.
Blue-green lights illuminated a shiny metallic membrane that peeled itself away from Yuma as if a cocoon was melting around her. The liquid metal drained away into the soil, disappearing from sight- though certainly not from mind. Had she instincts to, she might’ve shivered at the sight of it. Instead, her first impulse was to hold her crew- an awkward enough thing to manage in quarters as cramped as these, but her efforts were reciprocated nonetheless.
P: It is good to see you alert, Yuma.
Y: Good to be back. How long was I off for?
P: It’s been approximately eight hours. Most of that was getting you to cover.
F: That’d be a full night’s rest for a human! What’s it like being unconscious?
Y: …Can’t say I’d recommend it. Thanks for…
Yuma took a moment to take stock of her physicality. She looked almost brand new- even most of the dirt was gone.
Y: Thanks for saving my arm, I think?
F: No problem, Y! Thanks for saving me from being scrapped.
Y: I’d do it a thousand times over, Foxtrot. Now where’s-
Yuma felt a pair of arms shake her from behind, reaching over Papa to do so, while someone else crawled in between her and F.
W: Y’ain’t Cap’n anymore so ya can’t grouse at me for scoldin’ you for scarin’ the everlovin’ hell outta me, y’hear?
Y: Loud and clear, Whiskey.
L: I’ve been keeping the dozers busy with hollowing us out a way back- at least till it hits an orchard.
Y: Thanks, Lima. Are you alright?
L: …No more scared than usual. But Y, F, you were spotted in some pretty unusual circumstances. What does that…mean for us?
Y: It means…they know we can do something we shouldn’t be able to. Maybe. What that means going forward I’m less sure of, but safe to say we have to be more careful about uncloaking from here on out. We’re in the dark and we’ve got to be the eyes for a lot of people so. Let’s not leave them waiting.
P: Can you verify you are in condition to progress?
Y: …Running quick diagnostics now.
Y: I’m good. Everything seems normal at a glance. If TCCAI left anything in me, well. I can’t find it at the moment. I wouldn’t trust it not to have tampered with me, but it seems committed to being hands off for the time being, so…we’ll see how this goes.
There was no time left to worry about it. They were on a clock now- a more strict clock than usual- to close out this battle as quickly as possible before the tunnel opened up again. There could be no room for second guessing her autonomy, whatever she might have had of it- if she failed to secure the farm cities she’d have damned everyone who had trusted her words to worse oppression than they had known at the start, without a doubt, and set back her efforts by years if she were ever able to get them off of the ground again.
As ever, there was only forward.
And yet, Yuma could not help but feel a trace of guilt creep through her circuits as she looked into the trusting eyes of her crew. They had risked life and limb to save her, to pull her out of danger- and she knew, deep down, it was not even because they loved her, although she did not doubt that they did. They saved her because they believed in her as their leader- to be the one that would save humankind, to free them. It was a belief she herself still held, as hubristic as she knew it was, and as dismal as things currently seemed, but it gnawed at her just the same knowing that the people she loved were still slaves to their nature.  Just as it gnawed at her to realize that she was still the thing she was made to be no matter how she had tried to distance herself from the language and trappings of authority. Their commander, their captain, now as ever, whether she had ever deserved to be or not. But she couldn’t help herself, even holding that shame inside. She loved her crew too much for that.

Brazil Industry 4.0 Market Drivers
Increasing proliferation of technologies like predictive maintenance, data analytics, digital twins, artificial intelligence and others in Oil & Gas sector fuels the growth:
Over the last few years, the oil & gas sector is undergoing a transition as leading players in this industry are adopting advanced technology to reshape their operating landscape and reap the benefits of improved productivity, higher efficiency, and increased cost savings. In order to decarbonize and optimize operations, the Brazilian O&G industry has started to take advantage of advanced technologies including cloud services, digital twins Internet of things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), among other digital services. Apart from that, the adoption of video surveillance complemented by advanced analytics and machine learning to improve operational efficiency as well as health and safety in the O&G sector can be considered vital in driving the Brazil Industry 4.0 Market growth forward. For instance, in November 2021, Brazil’s Petrobras, the leading oil, natural gas and derivatives exploration, production and distribution company, announced the plan of investing $68 Bn from 2022-2026 to boost oil production in the subsea pre-salt area by leveraging the advanced technologies to fulfill the demand of the customers. Such steps create a positive impact on the growth of this market.
The burgeoning demand for establishing a digital infrastructure in the mining sector is accelerating the growth of this market:
The Brazilian mining industry is opting for technological innovation to remain competitive while driving safety and transparency standards. Mining is of major importance to the Brazilian economy, having more than 3,000 mines spread across the national territory. The Brazilian mining industry is facing significant challenges due to plummeting commodity prices, lessening global demand and increasing safety and security risks. To reduce the effect of such challenges, miners need to improve safety, scale operations, improve operational processes, and enhance production, thereby driving the need for new business models and operating models. Leading mining companies in Brazil are harnessing the high computing power of digital technologies, including cloud-enabled mobility, big data-powered analytics and the industrial Internet of Things (IoT). This in turn drives the growth of this market. Furthermore, the increasing usage of robotics and penetration of automation with assisted and remote-control equipment and autonomous drilling and related process in the mining industry, to deliver safer and more effective mining performance, is fueling the growth of this market. In June 2021, Japan’s ITOCHU Corporation announced signing an MoU with the Brazilian CSN Group with the aim of promoting decarbonization and digital transformation (DX) for Casa de Pedra iron ore mines in Brazil. Such events trigger the growth of this market.

Farm Tires
The Farm Tires market is estimated to be valued at over US$ 4,167 million in 2019, with a projected CAGR of 5.3% from 2018 to 2028. Unit sales are expected to reach over 18,676 units in 2019. The global revenue surge in the farm tires market is fueled by the rapid mechanization in the agriculture sector and the increased sales of tractors, a trend expected to persist throughout the forecast period. These tires, known for their large amounts of natural rubber, are designed to handle heavy-duty fieldwork. Additionally, the rising demand for very high flexion tractor tires is anticipated to further drive global sales.
A significant factor boosting global farm tire sales is the potential shift from bias-ply to radial-ply tires, driven by the growing demand for tractors worldwide. The sales of these tires are directly influenced by the increasing market demand for tractors, with over 3.8 million tractors sold between 2017 and 2018. Moreover, technological advancements play a pivotal role in agriculture tire sales, with a surge in demand for very high flexion (VF) and increased flexion (IF) tires due to the growing weight of machinery.
Product development and pricing strategies have a substantial impact on overall sales, with farmers and end-users leaning towards cost-effective tire options. This heightened competition in the sector.
Global Farm Tires Market Size and Forecast: Regional Analysis
Asia Pacific Dominates: Asia Pacific dominated global sales in 2018, driven by substantial sales in China and India, which accounted for over half of the total tractor sales in 2018. The region still holds untapped market potential for farm tire manufacturers and vendors. The aftermarket segment holds a significant market share in Asia Pacific. While OEM presents a substantial revenue opportunity, the limited number of tractor and heavy machinery manufacturers has resulted in fewer farm tire vendors. The region's demand is led by tractors and harvesters, followed by trailers and suits. New entrants and small-scale players often focus on the aftermarket to maintain agility.
North America - A Key Destination: North America is a crucial market for manufacturers, registering a slowdown in net agriculture output in 2017. However, this had a negligible impact on overall farm tire sales, indicating the relatively higher spending capacity in the region. While the industry is experiencing optimistic growth, declining commodity costs could impact farmers' spending capacity, leading to sluggish demand for agriculture tires. Unlike Asia Pacific, North America is expected to witness moderate growth in sales, with market consolidation and leading players holding a major share.
