Summary:

Ahn Geumhu and Yoon Seungho are the real brothers from a different Joseon universe. YOU CAN'T CHANGE MY MIND ON THIS 😭

Both considered lunatic by Joseon society, both being hated by their own family, both mothers died (one by sickness and one by suicide), and both respect women

Both fell in love with lowborn men--a butcher and a painter, respectively. Both used their manpower and wealth to protect and save their lowborn men from harm, both have killed to save and protect at the cost of their already tarnished reputation

Now, the only difference I see here is Geumhu loves his little brother very much, to the point that he distances himself from the sickly little one because Geumhu thinks he himself might inadvertently spread his "corruption" and "sins" to his little brother. Geumhu is also kinder to his servants, particularly to his valet Seon-Deok.

If Seungho had grown up with Seungwon, I think Seungho would've also been like Geumhu, who is much less of a depressed bean and actually smiles a lot without traces of sarcasm 😭
