Tasokare Hotel: Renewal is out today! 🎉

Other than the tutorial, I haven't taken an in-depth look about the system, but it doesn't look too difficult to navigate. Story-wise and gameplay-wise... well, better save it for actual review.

Overall, the dramatic improvement on the graphic is satisfying. The sprites are now live 2D, so they look more alive with hand and eye movements etc. The prologue is voice-acted this time, which as far as I remember isn't in the old version (might be wrong, feel free to correct).

The new theme song by Ali-Project is a nice addition as well ❤

If there's one thing I miss from the old game... That will be the exit app confirmation window. I remember the old app has that feature, but the new one doesn't. Just like The Prison Boys, I close it by pressing the home key (Android user here) and I'm dying every time I have to do that actually... Akuneko and Bungou to Alchemist do this too btw 😭

Not too important addition: I miss the buzzer sound. Please bring it back 😂

Collection (part two)

Clothes

You can also see the clothes that you have acquired and filter based on the rarity and whether if you have the clothing item.

Voice

You can find the Voice Dramas in Voice.

For some SSR cards, you can get Voice Dramas instead of stories.

And for the third anniversary, the voice drama is given as a reward for the UR/Level 2 reward.

As well, the third anniversary SR card you can get from the Premium Ribbon Shop also has a Voice Drama where you can find it here.

There is a Voice drama that is unlocked from a previous login bonus but isn’t available to unlock in the Butterfly Dias exchange shop.

For Voice Collections, you can find the Voice lines you get from login bonuses.

If you miss a voice line, you can go to Butterfly Dias Exchange Shop to exchange it for 120 Dias.

Recipes

When you talk with the butler on your Home Screen, sometimes, the butler would recommend a recipe to you to help with your energy.

The recipes he recommends will appear here for rereading purposes.

When you talk with your butler, you can get tips when you choose certain options.

Limited Memories, Limited Missions and More

Limited Memory

These are special memories which are available for a limited time only. (Cherry blossom viewing, Full moon viewing and more).

You can click on the butlers to see the memory and this will add to your memory album for later rereading purposes.

(And you can also fulfil one of the non-limited one-time missions by collecting memories)

Limited Missions

It’ll take you to this page for limited mission.

During limited missions, it depends on the type, but usually you can get one pull gacha tickets, butler exp or accessories.

Follow the mission instructions (usually they are easy ones like pull the doll gacha) and you can clear the mission to unlock the treasure boxes.

Once you opened the treasure boxes, you will get Dias and mission points.

Important Note: Please remember to open the treasure box after you completed the missions!

The mission points are for the Limited One-Time missions in the tab next to the Limited Daily Missions.

This is the Limited One-Time Missions page.

You can get the rewards by collecting the mission points.

Event Icon

This will take you to the Current Event page.

These are news that relates to Akuneko, it’ll switch to a different news informing the players that there is a new gacha, new update to certain features, new items to the Akuneko shop.

Collection (part one)

You can find collections of your cards, clothes, voice lines, recipes and tips here.

Cards

When you click on a butler, for example, Fennesz.

You are faced with this screen.

Any cards that you didn’t have is locked behind the “Lock” sign.

You can then press on Filter to filter out the cards.

Or use Alignment to align the cards you wish to see.

I usually check on “What I have” to see the cards that I have.

UR cards have a golden butterfly underneath.

When you click on a card you unlocked, you can see the Level up rewards from the cards as you continue to level up.

You can re-listen to the gacha voice line again by pressing on Voice.

When you press on Story, it’ll take you to the card story.

You can level up a card by getting a duplicate of the card or by using Level Up keys.

You will need 12 keys in order to level up.

Level up keys are acquired from all butler events, Premium Ribbon Exchange Shop, from level 5 and above cards, and Butler level up rewards.

Revival Event Exchange Shop

You can use Memory Pages to exchange past event clothing items, wigs and backgrounds that were from past event missions.

This shop also has no time limit.

You can press on Filter to filter the event items that you wish to find.

Butterfly Dias Exchange Shop

You can use Butterfly Dias to exchange past butler memories, past event memories and voice lines that you missed.

The memory will be added to Revival Memories where you can read it.

This shop also has no time limit.

Event Stamp Exchange Shop

When you first open the “Event Stamps Exchange Shop”, this might be the menu you see, the first one is the past event exchange shop and the second one is the current event exchange shop.

You can click on the Current Event, and it’ll take you to the current event stamp exchange shop where you can exchange the stamps you got from the butler’s request event missions and from exploration.

There are various of items you can exchange here, from Butterfly Dias to Backgrounds to Event Memories, Rose Memory Gems and Memory Pages and Premium Ribbons and Clothing items too.

When you choose an item to exchange, click on the item and press “Exchange”.

If it is an Event Memory that you have exchanged, remember to find it in the Memory Collection and press “Palace” and “See Boxes” to find the Event Memories.

These shops do have a time limit, please remember to exchange from before the event ends.

Premium Ribbon Exchange Shop

You can get Premium Ribbons from the Event Stamps Exchange Shop.

You can exchange Level up Keys, past SR cards and Butler Voice Crystal gems.

The Drama Voice SR Cards were from the Third Anniversary and can be exchanged with 1000 ribbons. You can find the Drama voice in Collection.

The SR card with Ribbon was from the Halloween Login Bonus with Butler’s Wonderland, and it comes with a Ribbon.

You cannot have duplicates for these SR cards.

The Butler Voice Crystal Gems can be used to unlock Home Screen voice lines.

This shop does not have a time limit.

FAQs

Manual Masterlist

1. I’m stuck on the loading page/the page is blank, what should I do?

A: It might be your wifi issues, you could try to refresh your wifi, or use your data to see if it’s the issue, or you can press clear cache to lessen the loading or restart the whole game again. Perhaps you can try to update the app if there are further updates.

If all else didn’t work, you might need to redownload the game again. (Please make sure to have your backup)

If you see this error message, please also refresh your wifi and alternate between mobile data.

2. I lost my account and I don’t have a backup, what should I do?

A: You can have your Aruji ID# (available from loading page + three bar menu) and other information that you remembered on your account and contact Studio Wasabi on their page (there should be a Google form you can contact them)

3. Is there an English version of the game?

A: Unfortunately, there is no English version yet. There are Chinese and Korean versions of the game.

You can use a mobile translator to screenshot the page and translate.

There are also translated stories (main, event and card stories) by fans too!

4. I saw others getting Akuneko merch, where did you get it?

A: You can buy it at the animate store in Japan, or if you are overseas, you can use a proxy to purchase from Akuneko Official shops, Mercari, and Animate. (Ofc custom fees are high 😭)

If you want to purchase fan goods, you can buy from Booth.

Birthdays

Butler Birthdays

These are the official birthday dates for the Butlers.

On the Butler’s birthday, please remember to login to the game and switch to the Birthday Butler to congratulate him on his birthday and get the Birthday Memory.

During his birthday, there will be login bonuses (300 Dias and Rose Memory Gems) and limited Birthday gacha banners with Birthday SSRs and card story.

These are limited, please keep this in mind when you’re prioritizing on Gacha banners to roll for.

Ex: For the Birthday this year (2025), there is only the 2024 Birthday Banner Return, but no 2023. Most likely the Birthday Banners would only have the previous year to return, so if you wish to get the previous year birthday cards, please do so before they disappear forever! (´；Д；`)

On your Birthday

On your birthday, please make sure all of the butlers are at level 4.

They will all come and congratulate you on your birthday.

The background will change with birthday decorations and cake, with a music box playing the happy birthday song.

This will not be a memory.

🎂 The birthday greetings are the same every year. 🎁

This is the Gacha Page where you can use your Butterfly Dias to get Cards, Card Stories and Outfits.

If you have paid butterflies Dias, you can pull on this gacha to get at least one confirmed initial SSR card.

Current Event Banner

For the Current Event Banner, there will be a reduced amount of butterfly Dias which is required to pull (300 Dias for single pull, 3000 Dias for 11 pull).

If you are using paid Dias, you can use a reduced amount of Dias to pull.

The paid single pull is limited to one per day.

When you roll, you’ll be ask to choose a card for a Higher Pick Up Rate. (Does not guarantee the card unless it’s a SSR confirmed banner)

Exchange

When you click on the Exchange Button, you can exchange a card once you have reached 132 points (132 pulls in total).

This is one of the two gacha pity systems Akuneko has.

Gacha Details

When you click on “Gacha Details”, it’ll tell you about the clothing set when you get the pick up cards as well as the rewards you’ll get when you level up the card.

Gacha History

All Gachas

You can scroll to see the current available banners.

The past gachas are permanent, but with an increased price. (360 for single pull and 3600 for 11 pull).

The only limited banner is the Birthday Gachas, which will only happen for a short duration of 6 days and does not get added to the permanent banners.

For this year (2025), the only revival birthday gacha is the 2024 birthday, which means the past birthday gacha would not come back.

Please make sure to roll if you wish to get the birthday cards.

(Initial SSRs and Current Event Gacha banners are 300 for single pull and 3000 for 11 pull)

One-Time Paid Dias Event SSR confirmed Gacha

This is the One-time paid Dias event SSR confirmed gacha, where you can use 5000 paid Dias to get the card.

This banner will only be available during the event period.

Return Back to the Previous Saved Outfits

If you didn’t like the outfits you put on and much preferred the one you had before, you can click on this button and it’ll reset back to the previous saved outfit without you having to go through the process of searching for the clothing items.

Save Button

And Finally, the last button is the Save Button.

Remember to save your work if you want the butler to wear it in the main screen!

Bottom Three Menu

You are currently looking at the Clothes Page, where you can choose the outfits.

Background

When you click on Background, you are able to see the background and effects while moving everything around (making it smaller or bigger) to create a nice photo. (Unfortunately you can only have one butler on the screen).

You can get backgrounds and effects from Revival event Shop as well as Event Stamps Shop (for some of the background of the current event).

Clear Everything Button

Just like the take everything off button, you can clear all of the effects and frame on the page by choosing the left button and the top right button.

Reset back to previous

Just like the Reset in the Clothes section, you can reset back to the previous saved setting.

Camera Function

Once everything has been saved, you can then take a picture.

If you press on Home, it’ll take you back to the home page.

If you press Share, this page will pop up to ask you where you want to share it to.

You can also press on the Download button to save the photo.

Closet (part one)

Manual Masterlist

You can change any outfits that you have for the butler of your choice.

Outfits can be acquired through SSR cards, event missions, stamp exchange shop, Revival Event, Cherry Blossom butterflies, and Muu Treasure Box.

Hairstyles can only be acquired when you level the cards up to level 3/4.

(The only exception is the Halloween wig which can be acquired from Revival Event Shop).

Poses and Expressions are only for camera purpose and does not change on the main screen.

If you were to click on filter, you can filter out a specific butler and the outfits that you unlocked will appear at the right selecting menu.

Switch Butler

Just like the previous switch butler icon, you can choose another butler to dress up.

This pop up will appear to ask you if you wish to use the same outfit for the butler of your choice.

You can choose to continue or refuse.

Clothing Set

It’ll be according to the set of the clothes, especially with card event outfits.

The Checked Marks are the ones you have, but the ones without are the ones you do not have.

When you press on the Filter button in the Clothing Set, this is the screen you see, where you can filter it by butler and/or events.

Taking Everything Off

You can take everything off by choosing the left button one or the second right button.

Both do the same function.

Event Stories

Jan, Feb, June, August, October, December usually are All Butler events that lasts the whole month.

March, April, May, July, September, November are split into first half and second half events, where there are 4-butler events with random groups of butlers.

Click on either the main image or the Story Icon to access the event stories.

When you click on the View Past Episodes, you are able to access the past event stories.

Past event stories are all unlocked, so you can read them at any time.

For example, this was the first event of Akuneko.

You can read the past event stories.

When you click on the Memory Goods icon, it’ll open up a page for the Studio Wasabi Akuneko online shop. (Need a proxy in order to buy from overseas.)

Story (part one)

Right beside Story, the Home button allows you to go back to the main screen anytime.

Story

This is where all the stories are.

The Main Stories, Butler Level/Card Stories, and Event Stories.

You can click on the arrows to go back or forward to read the main stories.

Butler Stories

You can click through the floors to find the butler you wish to read about.

You can read the preview sample pages for free.

The card stories are acquired from Card gachas.

If you have cards that are at Level 2, there will be voiced lines in the story that will be gradually added to the game.

Mansion Exploration (part 4)

Bottom Materials Screen

Remember the Treasure Box from before?

We have this Bottom Materials Screen that comes with it.

You do not have to do anything to accumulate the materials.

It’ll increase the materials every 30 minutes, so this will work in the background.

When you press on the treasure box, these are the materials that you will have in your inventory once it is collected.

And there is an Exploration Max time.

If you have notifications enabled, the butler will notify you that the exploration time is maxed out and please remember to collect the materials.

You can change the selected materials by pressing on Change.

And it’ll take you to this screen where you can select which floor materials you use to acquire. (Only the butler memory gems differs).

Important Note: Usually during events, you would acquire stamps to exchange in the Event Shop. If there was no event, there are no stamps.

And please remember to change the material once an event has started, because it’ll ask you to change it to get new materials.

If you do not wish to wait, you have the option to skip. It’ll skip 30 minutes of time if you use 5 butterfly Dias.

You can press on the plus/minus sign to add/decrease time.

You can first press clear all and do the selection.
