       THE SOFT PAT TO HER SHOULDER ALERTED HER TO HER SENSEI’S APPEARANCE. SHE’D BEEN PRACTICING SOME OF HER NEW MOVES IN THE GYM LATER. MINA KNEW THAT SHE WASN’T AS ACADEMICALLY GIFTED AS SOME OF THE KIDS IN HER CLASS BUT SHE COULD REALLY EXCEL WHEN IT CAME TO THE PHYSICAL ASPECT OF BEING A HERO.

       ACTIONS NOT WORDS , THAT WAS HER STRONG SUIT. WITH A GRIN SHE LOOKED UP AT AIZAWA SENSEI AND WAVED HER HANDS AT THE SOLID STRUCTURE IN FRONT OF HER. “ IT’S A NEW MOVE , I CAN CHANGE THE MOLECULES IN MY ACID TO MAKE IT TURN SOLID WHEN IT COMES INTO CONTACT WITH AN OBJECT ! IT’LL BE A GOOD TACTIC TO STOP THE BAD GUYS FROM GETTING AWAY ! “ UNLESS THE BAD GUY CAN TURN INTO GAS OR PHASE THROUGH THINGS, BUT SHE WASN’T GOING TO GO INTO THAT RIGHT YET.

     Ostensibly, he only rested a hand on Ashido’s shoulder to avoid startling her. It wouldn’t be the first time he’d startled a student in the middle of training. This gave him some plausible deniability.

Aizawa was rather impressed with the progress she had made with her Quirk. She had a lot of energy, and she was definitely creative, and both of those traits helped her shine in battle. He listens as she chatters about her new move, struggling to keep a smile off of his face. Despite his best efforts, the corner of his lip twitches.

     “It seems pretty useful,” he says with a small nod. “With your Quirk, it’s hard not to hurt villains you’re fighting, so having a move that can just immobilize them is a great idea.” He pauses, eyes darting to her target. “Does it dissolve things eventually? And how long does it last?”

        “ It might surprise you to know that Mina is one of my most promising students. I don’t mean grades wise, she’s not the strongest in her marks but her teamwork and heroism in training are impressive.

It’s hard to stand out in this class, there are some incredibly strong hero candidates in 1-A and I think that’s why Mina’s hero qualities are often overlooked. She has a surprising amount of heart. Her upbeat personality makes her likeable among her peers and easy for civilians to trust. Her charisma is commendable as well.

         It takes a lot to be a hero, both to others and to yourself, but Mina often reminds me of the kind of vigor we look for in candidates for UA. She inspires others and inspires herself to keep pushing forward. If her grades were better I’d have no doubts on her success, but as much as I want to say that the classwork isn’t as important, we wouldn’t waste all this time on it if it weren’t. . .

Though, I feel like that’s a failing on my part, If my students are struggling it is my job to help them succeed. I should put in more effort to helping her understand and excel in classwork as much as she does in her training. ”

        "mina !" he jumped forward to catch the boxed presents, doing his best to make sure none of them fell to the ground. he had no idea what was in them and would hate if anything inside them broke. he managed to catch the boxes that had fallen out of her arms and steady her to keep her from falling, too. "a-are you okay?" he asked, shifting the boxes in his arms so that he could help her stand upright.

        "oh, izuku--- i'm okay. thank you !" she gave him an almost sheepish smile. "it would've been really bad if some of those fell. . . can you help me carry them over to the tree?"

        "sure !" he helped carry the presents over to the tree, letting mina take them one by one to set them up however she wanted to. when they were all under the tree, she turned to him, smiling brightly.

        "there we go ! how about we go make some hot chocolate?" she offered, hooking a thumb over towards the kitchen. izuku nodded, returning her smile. it had been quite a bit since they had had a moment together without the entire class there and hot chocolate did sound really good. . .

        "yeah, that sounds great ! i just hope we have enough marshmallows left. . . if not, i think i can go ask sota if he's got any in his ro--- om? er, are you okay?" they had stopped in the threshold of the kitchen and mina's gaze was raised, a light blush coating her cheeks. slowly, izuku's eyes rose to find what it was she was looking at.

when had that gotten there ?! and who had put it there? WHY had they put it there ?! he felt blush rising up to his cheeks, all the way to the tip of his ears as he lowered his gaze to look at mina again. it definitely wasn't their first kiss, but it would have been their first kiss somewhere out in the open where they could be seen by any of their classmates. still. . . it was. . . tradition, right?

he turned, closing the space between them so he could lean in. he raised a hand to gently cup her cheek as he tenderly pressed his lips to hers, humming softly into the kiss. when he pulled away, he was smiling brightly. "ah-- m-merry christmas, mina !"

Having day offs was a little annoying. No, she completely understood the need for her body to rest, but usually, she had something to do even during those quiet days. Sometimes she met with her dad, sometimes she just went to see a friend, but today everything indicated that she is probably on her own. And on her own she was. Sitting down at the bench in one of the parks deep within the city she just stared in the sky and did nothing. So far it's the only waste of time she could have imagined. Being here at the park, one with nature as people like to say! However. She did not really like this. And she tried to hear anything that would allow her to do something else than...this. And that she heard soon enough. The quiet steps of someone else. It was a surprising event considering the rabbit hero was sitting alone. The woman lifted her head and looked to the side from which she could hear the footsteps coming in. To her surprise, she was a student. A girl from that famous 1-A Class of the U.A academy. Skin color, the tiny horns. It's that acid girl! Immediately the woman shot up from the bench she was sitting on and started to stride towards the only other visitor in this park with a huge smile on her face.

"Oi kiddo! Heeell, I wanted to see someone pass here for a while now. Didn't quite think it would be someone from U.A though. You kinda forget that the academy is not too far away! Yer that acid kid right? Mind a lill company? Lill ol' me can't find anything to do during her day off!" She laughed in the most honest manner possible. She did not even try to sound like that it just ended up that way anyhow. And so she stood there and awaited the kid's answer. It will be a bit of a bummer if she does not like the pro heroes, but it's okay. She probably has a fill of them through Aizawa and other teachers.

there are so many ways to carry out a soulmate au. first words tattooed ( which i won’t do bc this boy mumbles so much poor mina’s gonna have a whole rambling on her nsdjfnsd ), seeing in black and white until you meet your sm, having one color eyed that’s their color !! but im gonna go with my ultimate fav where, if you write on yourself, it shows up on your sm’s skin too.so-- i mean, mina's gonna have writing on her all the time, but it fades away after a few days !! usually it's a ton of notes and to-do lists and it's just. vvv obvious that he's a bit of a huge nerd, but he's also really smart and really stubborn and sometime he'll doodle on himself when he's bored and he'll try to talk to mina, too ! wish her a good day and ask how her day is going. he doesn't always expect a response back bc people are always telling him why would anyone want him as a soulmate and he better just give up now while he still has a chance and he tries not to let it get to him but !! it's why he doodles a lot and makes so many notes on himself. nsjdnfs
