What were you talking to your parents about for so long?

Trying to convince them that we aren’t together. The usual. They will never learn

We’ve been friends for like 10 years haha. Is it that hard to believe we are just friends?

RACHEL

I guess so. They are just stuck in their generation I guess. So what did you want to talk about?

Rachel’s eyes glow when she looks at Jay. She’s praying to God that Jay wants to confess his love for her

Rachel’s eyes close in disappointment. Then she puts on a smile and listens to what he has to say.

Im crushing so hard right now. Theres nothing I want more than to call her mine.

RACHEL

Ive spent a lot of time with her over the past few months. Every second without her is killing me. You’re a girl. How do I make her mine? I got to have her. She’s literally all I ever think about. 

Rachel puts her hand on Jay’s head

RACHEL

If the feeling is mutual, nature will take it’s course Jay. You can’t force anything

JAY

I guess you’re right. 

RACHEL

I am right

JAY

She’s just perfect. I literally think everything about her is perfect. I don’t know if its because I’m crushing or —

RACHEL

JAY

Well I’m not denying that but that still doesn’t change the way I think about her. I honestly wouldn’t care if she is the only girl I’m ever with. Thats how I truly feel. 

RACHEL

Damn Jay, you really like this girl.

JAY

I don’t know what it is about her. I can’t tell if it’s her big brown eyes that I get lost in Every time I look at or if it’s just the way she says my name. I don’t know why I can’t control myself when I’m around her. I don’t know why she even talks to me to begin with. But I do know that I won’t settle for anything less than her. She’s perfect and I feel like it’s my job to remind her of that everyday
