The whole Q&A to All Tomorrow's Parties! Sorry for the shaky video, I tried my best 😂😂 After the Q&A was over I saw Zhang Dalei and the producer in the foyer and went to to them to compliment them on their short film. I also politely asked if I could take a pic with them (which they agreed to, aaah!) and they recognised my Wu Ming hoodie. They said it's a very good film and that they hope I can watch it soon! The producer also said that the chances might be good for a European Release since it was screened at the European Film Market already 💚 Pretty sure I behaved like the biggest fangirl, but they were very nice! And probably a bit surprised that someone in Berlin is so desperate to see Wu Ming 😂😂

I have just returned from seeing All tomorrow's parties at Berlinale, which was an experience! The director and producers were there to do a little q&a, obviously they were asked what it was like to work with famous people like yibo and zhou xun and the director answered he felt intimated at first but then got to know them as friends. The producer was also asked how he got Chanel to sponsor his movie. He cleverly avoided answering 😂

The Berlinale lady also said the organisation didn't quite understand just how famous yibo is, until they posted the announcement for All tomorrow's parties on Instagram and their comment section exploded 😂

I will go to see it again tomorrow 😊

First audience screening of All Tomorrow's Parties at the Berlin Film Festival. There was a short interview section after each film and the director Zhang Dalei was there. The interviewer asked him what it was like to work with the two leads. Enjoy!!

I'm back from the 我的朋友 All Tomorrow's Party screening at the Berlinale.

It was so worth the 500 km drive, seeing Yibo on the big screen. At an international film festival. With fellow fans.

Even though I'd seen the movie before, it felt so different watching it in a theatre with an audience. Such a surreal feeling, but so so good.

And on top of it, we got an almost 25 minute Q&A session:

While some of the audience were pretty rude, leaving right after the movie or even in the middle of the Q&A - 我的朋友 was the last of 4 short movies shown at this screening - the rest of the audience more that made up for it with their enthusiasm and so many questions, that there wasn't even time to ask them all. I think out of all the four movies we got the longest Q&A session, even though it felt so short. We were truly blessed and I'm still so happy I got to be there. 💚

I don't know about any big-screen festival showings. I recommend checking your local festival listings.
