it is with a heavy heart that i must announce. the five nights at freddy's movie was really good

sorry for how much of a behemoth this post is im fnaf autism just bear with me also i can't keep my thoughts straight for the life of me so this will be a bumpy ride. as an additional note i got very lucky and had literally 0 spoilers whatsoever for this movie, i haven't even seen the trailer

so first of all: i thought all the changes they made to the plot to make it work for a movie were good decisions, altho some of them did take a minute to actually feel like good changes lmao. once i thought about em a bit more though they made sense.

one of the things i really liked was that they also did include a lot of the things i wanted them to, or more specifically things that you're like "you literally can't have a fnaf movie without these, it just wouldn't be right", like we got mike schmidt, we got fucking VANESSA??? altho she might be in the trailer so that might not be the same reveal for yall as it was for me but still. they heavily alluded to vanny? (altho that's a part i'm kinda sad abt is they didn't /actually/ include vanny, vanessa just makes an offhand comment about how she "wouldn't be much help" if she was around afton and then. comes to help anyways and doesnt have any issues? lame they shouldve had him hypnotise her and then she fought her way out to help mike and abby. or alternatively they couldve used the family restructuring to make vanny be a result of afton giving vanessa osdd-2, like thats kinda functionally what he does with the mask anyways but this would make it more obvious).

also swinging back to changes they made that i liked!! VANESSA AFTON?? like this is the one that took me a while to get used to bc it feels like such a cliche from an outside perspective but it also kind of Super Isn't considering what the original plot is? like all the family restructuring they did makes pretty good sense to me, i do think it loses a bit of the weight having michael be Just Some Guy Whose Brother Happened To Be Kidnapped By Afton Forever Ago and now coincidentally has this weird guy offering him a job as a night guard, but also the og lore. absolutely would not fit into a movie lmao. so i like that they kept the characters everyone wanted around while also rearranging it to keep the spirit of "learning about all of this for the first time through the eyes of a security guard" you get from playing the games. it's fun for people who don't know the lore because it's easy to follow and it's fun for people who /do/ know the lore because they can pull apart all the differences.

oh right back to things they included that i wanted them to. we gotttt chica's cupcake murdering people, we got FUCKING MATPAT? SAYING THE ITS JUST A THEORY LINE? SOUNDING THRILLED OFF HIS ASS TO BE THERE??? i dont like the man and his opinions vis a vis addressing nonbinary characters but. goddamn was that a funny cameo. why couldnt you include markiplier too you fucking cowards. who said that. anyways. oh we kind of tangentially have a canon name for crying child? aka garrett? like idk this one could go either way because like. yeah he's mike's younger brother that died tragically and scarred him for life, makes sense that theyd be the same character in function but also it is technically a different family so who knows.

umm what else. oh this doesnt rlly fall into either category i just really liked it, the intro sequence for all the animatronics? showing what they can /really/ do with the breaking and entering dudes?? that was such a cool sequence i really liked the whole thing honestly. chica being introduced in the kitchen and the dude finding the cupcake then looking back and it's gone? bonnie in the supply closet? foxysprint??? AND FREDDY!! THE BITE!!! in case anyones reading this before watching the movie so they know what to expect: youll know when this moment is coming and if youre watching it at home with friends i HIGHLY recommend having the "was that the bite of 87" clip ready to play right after, they WILL lose their shit. i had it queued up from the very beginning of the movie cause i was like. they can't not include it /somehow/, it's the fnaf movie there has to be A Bite. and sure enough. oh also it's not at the same time but the golden freddy reveal is really good too, they did a good job of setting it up so even if youre already aware of golden freddy conceptually you still go "oh freddy's here? i mean i guess that makes sense he's the leader and all. or wait what happened to his eye why's he only got one? oh. oh i see. ohohohohohohohoho" 100/10. also very funny that they just straight up. MURDER THE AUNT? AND SHE NEVER GETS MENTIONED AGAIN SHE JUST IS DEAD??? the kid isnt like. hey what happened to aunt jane?? i get none of them liked her and with good reason but youd think at least one of em would be like "damn she sucked but she didnt deserve that, rip jane"

oh and the springlocks of course the springlocks. like as soon as we saw aftons name in the cast list we all knew he was gonna get springlocked, it's such a cherished memory for so many of us and there's no way in hell The Fnaf Movie™ wouldnt include afton getting springlocked, they just legally can't leave that out. and they do it pretty well too like yeah if you know what's gonna happen you can see it coming way ahead of time and it's kind of a slow crawl to get there but like. idk i think it still works pretty well. i don't personally like how long the actual springlocking itself took, i think they couldve milked that a little bit less cause i was under the impression that if one springlock failed they All Would Instantaneously And Your Flesh Body Will Become Occupied By A Full Endoskeleton. but no we just get very slow rib beartrap. w/e though still cool and again the leadup to it was really good even knowing exactly how it would end, like just the really slow shuffling of the animatronics towards him? like yeah it's slow and kinda tedious but its also like. theres literally nothing you can do, youre surrounded and defenseless and theyre infinitely faster and stronger than you and now they remember that you killed them. and you just have to sit there and watch them slowly slowly get closer all while trying to talk your way out of it knowing youre fucked. 10/10 they did that part well

oh and that also falls under changes i liked, i liked that instead of "afton tries to escape intangible ghosts by getting into old decrepit suit which then fails and kills him" it was "afton was already in the suit to do murders in and has brainwashed the bots to follow him" wait omg point postponed i just realized that part is from security breach. i thought vanessa was the only thing they brought over from that i didnt even notice that they werent doing the theyre-attacking-all-adults-indiscriminately thing goddamn. omg wait and the fact that the restaurants already closed in this one, it really is just a blend of all the games huh. scott do you see how much more coherent your plot couldve been if there wasnt So much going on. anyways. back to what i was saying. instead of "afton tries to escape intangible ghosts by getting into old decrepit suit which then fails and kills him" it was "afton was already in the suit to do murders in and brainwashed the ghosts into thinking he was their friend so they would help him do murders while possessing the robots. then they get their memories back and the robots turn on him and.. i think deliberately? set off the springlocks, or were just aiming to regular kill him and the springlocks failing was a happy accident? then the robots drag him away as they keep slowly one by one collapsing into him", like the first one made a lot of sense for the game and the timeline and the second one just feels right for this too. it's still his hubris that kills him, still his springlocks, it's just in one version the hubris is "trusting his springlock design to still work after however many years" and in the other its "thinking he has conplete control over the ghosts he killed", plus the ghosts finally get a bit more direct participation in his death than in the other version lol.

one change i did not like. forced het romance. like i dunno i guess im happy for them, both of those characters have certainly earned happy endings by this point so its nice they can get something cutesy. but also. like cmon man it's vanessa and mike do we have to do this she just got stabbed stop holding her hand

oh also this change wasnt really good or bad i just thought it was funny, vanessas a full on cop now? like i get they prolly just dont wanna have two security guards or something but i mean. it wouldve been really easy to just say she was the day shift guard? thatd explain why she had more information on the bots and the place's history than him, why she's always Around, it wouldve even flowed into the vanessa afton reveal pretty well too because like. yeah obviously a guy doing murders would want his main security guard to be someone he trusts and who better than his theoretically brainwashed daughter yknow? as it was she just kinda Showed Up Knowing Stuff And Ignoring Questions and later afton's like "you were supposed to be keeping an eye on him" but like of course Mike was getting dodgy about the weirdo cop loitering nearby for no reason, thats sus as hell lmao. vs "experienced security guard here to show you the ropes" he would have a much easier time trusting that she actually did have his best interests at heart. idk it just seemed like a weird change to me lmao

ummm oh my roommate pointed out the fact that when they tried to springlock abby the suit they were aiming for looked suspiciously like circus baby and abby and baby are anagrams so thats fun. it's hard to tell though if shes intended to be a rework of elizabeth or if vanessa's filling that role now. cause like on the one hand, michael's younger sister whose name is v close to baby, on the other hand, vanessa is afton's daughter. so idk i feel like it could go either way. if abby's elizabeth i guess that negates the thing about garret maybe being crying child's name bc then theyd prolly just be keeping mike's name the same. w/e

oh my god i completely forgot when i was talking about changes to the afton springlock thing, they had him deliberately put his mask on after the other springlocks started releasing and say the "i always come back" line, i thought that was an excellent touch. like he's actively dying a horrific death and is like. no no. im not leaving this bot. this shit is going to suck ass no matter what so i might as well do all i can to ENSURE my soul gets locked in this fuckin thing, go on stab me in the brain lets do this. i will however also say that having him say "i always come back"... before he's even come back the first time? is a little bit weird, i know thats another one of the "we have to include this in the fnaf movie" things so im not mad but just in the moment it def flows a bit weird. like mf you don't even have one example of that yet much less several to be saying "always" about

OH AND THE BIGGEST ONE. THE ANIMATRONICS. theyre so good. like im so glad they went all in on that, i think they probably knew that if there was one single thing they had to get absolutely 100% right to avoid a fan uprising it was those and by god did they deliver, theyre so big and so unsettling and so fun. chica's wink at abby was the best part of the movie no questions asked. or alternatively bonnie falling over after they built the fort. like theyre all just so good. OH MY GOD OR IN CHICA'S INTRODUCTION SEQUENCE WHERE YOU CAN SEE HER JUST. SCOOTING BY THROUGH THE VENT?? THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING OF ALL TIME HELLO???

god. but yeah i was honestly expecting it to be a lot worse than it was. also this mike is a bad brother/dad figure. but i guess in the games he also kind of is the pinnacle of bad brother so i mean it couldve been a lot worse. theres definitely some rough parts, i mightve mentioned this already but i felt like a few of the dramatic pause things were a bit too drawn out, like i said the springlocks locking is one good example of that but another that i REALLY found slow was like. in the opening we watch a guy get turbomurdered by the swirly blade mask and it takes. way longer than i feel like was necessary. also unnecessary: a jumpcut a second from scared eyes to swirly blades to hands fumbling and repeating during that. oh another thing that was weird to me, why was mike so insistent on sleeping specifically at night? to the point of deliberately sleeping on the job? like i get he wanted to revisit the kidnapping dream but like. presumably he could dream just as well during the day, no? done his night shift then once it was up rolled out a sleeping bag for a quick powernap before heading home? idk that just felt. forced to me

more random things, i am sad we didnt get a whiff of henry emily (my fringe theory was that their twist to change it from the games was they were gonna make henry be evil, rip to that idea) or the puppet/charlie, and kinda sad they changed the kid possessing golden freddy to be a boy like. we love cassidy and her Undying Rage Towards Afton's Soul smh why would you get rid of her. also loved balloon boy, kinda wish mangle had gotten like a similar level appearance but thats w/e. oh also while i did appreciate the low gore level there were also a few times where it was a bit weird how minor the injuries the dead people had were. like this man just had his face put in a blender mask and he just has like. some forehead gashes or whatever? he should look like someone stirred up jello

anyways with that gross thought i think i am out of things to say about the movie for now. if anyone else watched it already and somehow read all of this blease tell me your thoughts

- OK FIRST ABOUT HIM. He works for knives still but in this au his job is to cause vash suffering by 😭😭… outselling him??? Ridonkulous ik but go with it

- Knives wants him to outsell vash so vash realizes that art and human creativity is obsolete and instead help him run his tech/AI company that also focuses on helping global warming (humans suck they should die. robots go!)

- Hes apart of a band to rival Vash’s and ofc its the Gung Ho Guns; he hired them to play for him

- Tbh i think their genre isnt set in stone bc theyre purely doing this to outsell vash so I think theyd keep the core of it rock or indie but it has a lot of shifting gears, doing wtv gets the most traction

- Legato is the bassist but he knows keyboard if their keyboardist is absent

- I think legato writes most of the songs himself (to impress knives ofc this is still HIS mission afterall) and gets a lil sad and defensive if it flops LMFAO even if its just his first album; considering how Knives talked down on music Legato thought it’d be somewhat easy

- It DEFINITELY took him a while to write things that had some semblance of humanity in it tbh he had to have either another less emotionally stunted member write it or a ghost writer but he did still practice writing in his spare time since he had nothing better to do

- NOW ABOUT YALL. Ur roommates in a college dorm; if it were up to him he’d have an apartment but knives wanted him to keep an eye on vash and vash lives on campus

- He only has like one or two official rules as roommates but if ur pissing him off with sth thats not on the list he WILL let u lnow LOL

- You often eat together when he isnt busy tbh usually in silence but its ok its comfortable silence (to him at least)

- Ok im gonna try to say this in the least creepy way possible but like. He likes to observe you for inspiration HEAR ME OUT. Just seeing u go about ur day and since hes always in first person POV seeing someone else just… live gives him immense inspiration on what to write

- He also gets inspo from other artists and heres where u come in hehe. You are a solo artist who doesn’t show your face and your speaking voice is pretty much completely different from ur singing voice (Not like insanely different but if you heard the two separately you wouldnt really connect the dots unless ur one of those people who connect voices easily + depending on ur genre u could be using a completely different tone of voice than usual)

- Your genre is a little similar to Legato’s in the fact that although you keep your core component (Love theme IMO but hey i dont make the rules yes i doo) you change around the other moving parts such as the instruments or wtv so he listens to your music often though he never really thought it would be you; just never really thought about the possibility

- Im not gonna say hes like obsessed with your artist persona or anything but he does (as much as he would rather khs than admit it since according to Knives music is the bane of this world) greatly enjoy your music and often finds himself getting your songs stuck in his head

- ANYWAY u have no idea this is going on since hes prone to just listening to music in his headphones rather than showing you or blasting it for the world to hear so ur relationship is developing as normal roommates

- You often get him stuff from the college snack shack and in return he often gives u whatever he doesnt want from the dining hall (that sounds crappy but its usually good stuff like ur fave fruit or cheese and crackers or sth)

- After u become a bit closer going on trips together becomes common not like vacation but like a little drive to a department store or him taking you with him to practice/performances

- SPEAKING OF PRACTICE U work part time at a coffee shop and it has a practice room which is where he usually brings his band it sounds random but I’ve encountered a coffee place like this before ok

- Killing two birds with one stone, he gets to see you on his way in and out and he gets a quiet place to practice + Vash often brings his band here too so ig killing two birds and one afterthought with one stone

- Other GHGs (NOT greenhouse gasses. Gung ho guns) think that ur another one of his groupies probably 💀 he def has tons i fear

- He def writes songs about you or rather than about you, references how u make him feel but he is in denial and thinks feelings are embarrassing so hes just like no they just gave me inspiration

- Hes a big ass fan of vinyls and cds and just physical ways of owning things like music or games but wont admit to himself he likes it its just for the aesthetic ok even though he has a record and cd player

- Wants to cut ur hair and feels like its one of the most intimate things u could do without having to touch too much (forever subscribed to knives cut his hair hc)

- If u have a lot of accessories and generally just a lot of stuff he gets annoyed if it isnt properly organized and will organize it for u wnv hes having writers block

i think theyd argue alot about which male celebrities are hot like anytime they watch a movie they always talk about whos hot and who aint

so theyd obviously go on an art museum date that lucas would surprise will with and lucas would drive them while wills in charge of music and will is amazed by everything and would have just a wide eyed look the whole time and lucas is like staring admiring will in his element

also at the art museum lucas would try to be all conceptual and like say dumb smart sounding shit about all the paintings and impress him and also just make him laugh and will would laugh so much and like shove him and giggle and it would be fucking adorable.

soooo lucas would be super flirty and charming like really charming and hes smirk and smile so much at will. at first will would be kinda nervous and flustered like embarrassed but then he started play along saying shit like “i bet you say that to all you boyfriends😏” but then… he started to flirt back and lucas… was not expecting that and every fucking time will was flirty lucas would die he would stutter and blush like crazy he would totally short circuit

survivor: a little on the skinny side, inbetween artificer and monk. albino i think :) if not then has sort of snow leopard patterning. small eyes, taking after their mama (i . headcanon gourmand is monk and survivors parent if this is dis proven by canon im So sorry i havent finished the game yet)) triangle shapes mostly. quiet and cautious (they used to be curious, but the world didnt allow that) and always tense, prepared for a fight. desperate to find monk :(. journey < destination. glass half empty

monk: takes more after gourmand! orange tabby coloration (+ karma flower marking on back) if that makes sense. big round eyes (sort of like how scavs with big eyes r usually friendlier) and significantly healtheri than survivor ! (i think slugcats r sort of like seals, they hv a ton of bodyweight. though they can vary, gourmand is like a little over average scug size) circular mostly (round ears, round eyes, round body etc) kind and curious, sees good in the world but above all wants to find survivor. journey > destination. glass half full.

hunter: very big slugcat, almost unnaturally so. a little skinny cause having the rot is no good for your health :( i dont have many headcanosn for hunter but ithink they have poor sight , completely blind in their canonically scarred eye which i think it was overtaken by the rot. the reason they can hold spears isbecause they have tendrils of the rot growing out of their back and wrap the spears around if that makes sense. square shapes mostly. a bit stocky, more muscle than fat. quiet, stern, and rarely takes risks. a bit lethargic from the rot eating away at them. journey < destination. glass half full

gourmand: THE best rainworld character *THE BEST* i think aboutthem alll the time ohohoo o RUBS CLAWS TOGETHER IGOT A TON OF SHIT. ok ok so basically they r THE ultimate slugcat . u guys know that one post about gourmand having the power to throw spears with the strength of a missile being shot. i cant remember if that was the exact wording but YEAH that was my exact idea of them they are incredibly inventive and smart and STRONG AS FUCK. they throw spears with *three times damage* than the average amount and that s FUCKING insane they kill so many creatures in literally one single hit man you cannot tell me that isnt Ridiculous. like no wonder they get exhausted after that?? god DAMN??? i straight up forgot what i was writing about in this post ilove gourmand too much OH RIGHT HEADCANONS . well for one they r surv and monks parent . due to ahving explored pretty much every corner of the region, they know a significant amount of rain world's history, just by piecing it together themself! very wise, emotionally. very strong morals and very strong will! they are surprisingly humble despite their incredible feats, but arent afraid to show confidence when needed. they are a friendleader forreal, they definitely know every slugcat in their colony by heart and are always there to cheer you up when u r feeling downl. good slug,best friend. knows a TON about fighting, very good at paw 2 paw combat i bet theyd spar with the little ones for fun sometimes :). already mentioned this but they r very kind and generous To a fault. a very competent leader but they do tend to take on too many responsibilities! i think they maybe stopped doing this when idk one day a scug in the colony saw them pass out from overexerting themself or some shit and then everyone started to pitch in after that. they are very grateful and a little embarazed. also when they lost monk and survivor i think the whole colony stepped up for a while to help while they were grieving (dunno if they were in the colony while losing monk and survivor, maybe losing them was what motivated them to keep pups safe IDK bare with me)) i think theyd be the eldest or second eldest of all the slugcats . they try to be fun with kids and are INCREDIBLY protective, letting no threat get within 100 feet of someone they wish to protect. they have been EVERYWHERE imean fucking everywhere. almost photographic memory, stores so much knowledge in that jineeeeeeourmos brain of theirs. boisterous/charismatic, welcoming, kind, and above all (despite the odds!), very happy with life :) mostly square shapes but theres some circles thrown in. . journey >>> destination. glass half full

*ok* holy shit i got off track. anyways

artificer: surprisingly, an incredibly small slugcat. just over the average juvenile size (a little bit bigger than survivor, and smaller than pretty much everyone else.) incredibly thin. before losing their pups, they were significantly healthier and just generally happier. i think they always had their xsplodey shit but it was more like a snail, a loud pop of noise used by detonating their explosion fluid stuff to startle predators if that makes sense? but then after losing their pups and doing nothing but KILLING KILLING KILLING KILLING scavengers for cycles upon cycles, they neglected caring for themself - including eating. eventually, they became near spearmaster in size & were able to propel themself into the air with the blasts due to their near-nothing weight. most scugs groom themselves as to not have their short fur become overgrown and tangle, but due to artificer's l;ack of nutrients they probably dont have their fur grow alot (does that correlate? idk if eating -> fur growth BARE WITH ME) BUT. they have it grown just enough to tie spears to their back with it. its matted and tangled and is rock solid when you touch it. OH ALSO before losing their pups, they had light brown fur! but then it stained permanently with scavenger blood :) atleast in my hc haha. GUB GUB GBU i think out of all the slugcats i know the least about them BUT i love them all the same :) they r the MOST fun ever to play as! they strongly resemble a seal! their ears r almost nonexistent + they hv very short limbs and loooong whiskers. fat as FUCK (normal slug size) and incredibly fast they dart around like a bullet! actually pretty big, a little bit shorter than spearmaster (who is around saints size and a little shorter than gourman) big round fucking eyes and Surprisingly super quiet? usually just Stares......they radiate such a jittery energy youd think theyd talk alot (if scugs could talk) but no not really :) my cat is drooling on my arm thought id let you guys know . spearmaster: very tall and VERY thin slugcat. pretty much all of their bodyweight is stored in their tail and you can. imagine how that i;s ! a bit lethargic from prety much having NO nutrients at all.. but to make up for it theyre pretty speedy and flexible as hell, they can bend their bones pretty much to fit into small spaces. also INSANE reflexes. pretty plain everywhere except their tail, you can very much tell they were Created. i think they are a bit irritable, but otherwise peaceful. tends to have tunnel vision when they are tasked with something to do, and are always wiling to help (i think most purposed creatures share this trait) they are pretty smart but have really bad memory i think. ALL triangles. journey < destination. glass is filled with water, what else are they supposed to think?

saint: second tallest (only a LITTLE taller than spearmaster). fluffy, curly, braided-in-some-parts fur. they have a faaaabulous mustache and FAAAABULOUS eye lashes. pretty thin, surviving as a vegan in a snow-covered world is difficult. their tongue works more like a chameleon tongue ithink ifthat makes sense? like they cant control it it just FWIP flashes out and sticks to stuff with barbs on the end. i do not know NEARLY enough about saint to say a single thing about them But ilove them theyre awesome. composed of pretty much all the shapes, maybe some diamonds in there too though. geometrical lookingikd ifthat maekssen8JURDTHJURDTIH. completely neutral on journey/destination and completely neutral on glass half full/empty.

srry. thinking abt ls calling up void crying so hard he can barely talk or breathe. void showing up and he has to take a small approach when he does arrive to check up on him because he can tell ls is Petrified at him showing up. ls is too deep in his head to realize its actually his bf instead of some Clone of him with malicious intent and needs reassurance from void to make sure hes like.. Actually safe. starting by holding ls hand and giving him lots of room to move around and moving farther up his arm and Will Back Off if ls wanted him to. but if he didnt! hed end up hugging ls and giving him gentle kissies to ease him back into touch. LS typing in his phone to ask him to check the rest of the place for anyonw  that may be hiding. ALSO not relevant to that at all but loid high kissies.  ls approaches ven one day like Hey do you think you can get me something? another thought i had was umm. ls can click his tongue really really loud and i had the idea of 1. void using it for a basic yes/no answer(if he is unaware that its a vessian phrase) (void vc Hey, do that clicky thing if you DONT want me to come in.) 2. him accidentally saying a full phrase in spiple+veevees language. like he clicks a few times just for fun and he actually ended up saying the vessian equivalent of a phrase of reassurance or Yes(its ok! or something along that). seeing spiple and veevee turn to him with strange looks of both Understanding and BEWILDERED CONFUSION(as to how he knows that phrase) and when they explain (bc he was Terrified when they turned their heads so fast in his dirección) what he just said hed get really giddy(he feels super smart) bc he didnt expect to say something In Their Language. oh fuuuck void knowing some vessian lang and using that 3-click reassurance when ls cant speak and Understanding what he says. spippy teaching him more click-only phrases perhaps(bc ls just . Doesnt have the anatomy for the trills. vaguely gestures i have my own idea of vessian anatomy in my mind.) oughhhh another way of veevee showing  affection by putting their neck around yours or ontop of your head and doing a gentle trill. imagining how that would feel garararrurururururu... also never forget veevee sensitive gills. i think they try to hide how bad it can startle them sometimes(if you brushed your hand against them or gave them a surprise kissy). OH YEAH veevee is a hashtag drugs fan too. i think People Drugs would affect them in negative ways so they have their ownfrom their own planet. they get very loopy and kind of dazed? a lot more publically affectionate too( they usually prefer to smother osiris in kissys and head bumps and trills on their own time instead of where Everybody can see). theyd also have a constant gentle smirk on their face they genuinely cannot help it then. oh fuuuuck them leaning In to gill kissies. youd  start to hear a gentle trill because they are Loving it.( they like them w permission Usually but the mushrooms from their planet affect sensation and like. vaguely gestures hard to word the mental images are vivid for me. ) a bit more sloppy walking(they have their tail for balance though!) and you can see the frills on their tail Fluctuating with how they may be "standing up". they usually make a Conscious effort to keep those frills up 1 out of pride. they looove how their frillslook i think they deserve to put (perhaps bioluminescent?) piercings in them sometimes for an extra glow or like. Pizazz. Idk. 2 to seem like.. Bigger? theyre big on their own(6 ft. no less) but they like rhe idea of people being a little intimidated of them(esp since they arent at home anymore theyre on a Ship in Space with new people entirely and they dont quite have the reputation that they did at home)

also a thought abt ls i think he is immobile for a few seconds after he stretches. he just gets so lightheaded and hit with a Huge wave of exhaustion he has to actively recover from it. he also has bad knees and hips and he cant really run for long periods of time(unlike venus she is Super in-shape compared to him. she has big strong arms that umm he wishes she would hold him with.) bc well One his legs give out entirely. TWO his throat can and will start closing up. i think it makes him freak out Super fucking bad when it happens but thankfully being on a high budget ship in space you dont really need to run that much if at all(although recommended to work out to keep your muscle mass to a healthy amount but hes mentally ill he never has the motivation for any of that so ven hypes him up and pushes him to do it out of necessity. shed hate for him to get the opportunity to go on a planet but his muscles+bones arent. Integrous? enough? to support him). speaking of breathing if someone lays on him while hes on his back he will struggle SO BAD to breathe  his lungs and chest fucking SUCK!!!! i think he also has rly stiff joints and can never crack his back or neck or anything(can only do his shoulder Consistently). he also gets horrific phantom pains ever since he lost his left arm to cancer. ven deciding to come to his place and sit with him while he Writhes and offer some support(as best she can shes not all that good with words. Also on her own accord he would hate to waste her time but shes like No no man its fine i promise u. ion mind sittin with you for a bit.) i think also if he lays on his side for too long his hip gets Excruciating pain so thatsa reaosn why he lays on his back so much. THE SAME FOR VEEVEE  xeyre not used to genuine loving relationships where they arent taken advantage of and expected to sit and be pretty but iurrororougiguhugu when they start Officially dating osiris( i think they had a good few months time of them just being very intimate and close before they both were like. Oh. Are we together now. before making it Official official)  they are still accepting how osiris is completely genuine and she just loves them so so much and they should do the equivalent of crying over it( i dont think vessians can straight up cry but they can do everything else associated w it ). cuddling w osiris one day and it sinks in just how good they have it now and now theyre Clutching onto osiris and kind of whimpering. its a happy 'cry' i prommy. OH YRAH and v-enus FIGHTS. i think theyd be snippy with eachother early on before v- actually gets good at seeing other people on the same level as theirs.  theyd probably give her nasty looks bc shes so unapologetically Herself. shes loud and rambunctious and rough and they dont Like that. theyd make sure she knows it too and Usually ven takes it pretty well. but when veevee starts jabbig At Her or How She Acts i think thats when it can start with her Shoving v- out of her way. v- then is like DID SHE JUST DO THAT? bc they hold themself Far above her and for her to have the audacity to do that? UNHEARD OF! that results in a Swat from v-( WHO HAS VERY SHARP CLAWS) then venus lets out a GRAOW FUCK! and thats when. A full on fight starts. they get broken up sooner or later but it gets nasty  anddd now their perceptions of eachother are Tarnished. not forever but for a Good long while. hissing things abt one another under their breath and only holding back on full on arguments if their friends were in the same  room. example osiris+veevee+spiple+ven.  imagining them all on the couch and v-enus are doing passive middle fingers at eachother every once in a while but not sparking a full on fight.  over the next few years i think veevee gets their nose a little broken and they get the Terror of having thought that they killed venus(THEYRE STILL VERY ELECTRIC) but really she just blacked out for a moment. v- wants to kick her ass and come out on top but good god theyd never want to Kill her. theyre Horrified of killing people especially having seen it first hand back at home w/ the Ever deadly tridacts. electrocuting venus and watching her instantly fall to the floor without her getting up righy after and staring blankly into the ceiling their heart would Drop. any rage they had before is completely gone and now theyre on their knees shaking ven trying to get her to wake up but she Wont( theyre too panicked to check for a pulse but trust me shes alive ) and theyd start choking up and the frills on their tail would Drop and and andnandnnand. Until ven groans and shes blinking the bright ass lights out of her face and rolling over confused on what was just happening. It doesnt help that when she turns over to veevee kneeled beside her seemingly Frozen with terror shes like. Hhuh? and veevee goes on this Tirade like OH MY GOD I THOUGHT YOU WERE FUCKING DEAD! dont you EVER do that shit to me again do you HEAR ME? and ven who just woke up from crashing on the ground and her heart feels soo heavy is so confused cus everythings still a little muffled and her teeth feel weird and shes being Yelled at and barely remembers the fight they were in before. i think v- would actually help her up but the second she teases them about it theyd let her go bc they are So upset about thinking they murdered her. osiris would have limited sympathy hearing abt it bc she Would explain to them that. Veevee i love you with my whole heart and more. But that was kind of your fault. and theyd only be mildly mad about it until theyre like. Okay. Yeah. Youre right. and groan while rubbing their face because they Need to say sorry to ven about it<- emphasized by osiris.  ven wouldnt accept their apology because Holy Fuck That Could Have Been So Much Worse but she appreciates them doing it at all. more years go by and (in main void capture au) i think theyd fight less over stupid things because the ships radar has been detecting some. Weird things trailing behind it. Sort of like heat-seeking missiles. and they dont quite have the time to fight over petty diferencias when theres something This Strange going on they Need to be working together. which is  perfect timing wise because when the accretions finally manage to catch up w/ the ship and break void out ( venus spiple and LS and veevee were all on an external ship a safe distance away from the main one doing maintenance ) osiris is Killed in the process and i think venus would be a good comfort when theyre coping. their heart would beBroken. their chest would Sink seeing the ship get ripped apart and knowing shes in there and there being No goddamn way she survived. theyd start banging at the glass screaming and wailing because one of the few genuine loves in their life is Gone and this time it wasnt a breakup shes dead. i think theyd be inconsolable for a month their mental+physical health would Plummet. spiple and ven are there for them too but they Arent Her. i think they deserve to scream and Shriek about having lost her. when they think about why it happened for a moment theyd regret having helped void be saved at All. keeping the secrets of why venus took so long in the dyson sphere under wraps. All of it they regret so horribly theyd be tempted to give up all of the info they have about void to assist in his Recapture but they wouldnt because i think theyd be a little aware of how emotionally compromised they are and ven being Very impulsive can tell that they would do it out of impulse( also being Horrifically traumatized but you know). also going back i think v-enus would also fight over them tormenting LS. back then theyre unaware of how emotionally repressed they are and they subconsciously take it out Mostly on him because hes shy hes vulnerable hed Never stand up for himself. which is why ven does it for him! they could be berating him to the point of tears and him agreeing w everything theyre saying Just So They Go Away but god forbid venus shows up. seeing how upset he is and how hes basically backed into a corner  shrinking into himself crying harder and harder the more they go on she would be fucking FURIOUS i think shed shove them REAL hard to give him space to retreat so she can give them a piece of her Fucking mind. ls walking out feeling awful 1 because v- cornered him and yelled at him 2 venus standing up for him. he feels like Such a burden for her needing to stand up for him (despite it being completely on her own volition. shed def talk to him afterwards though like You cant let em talk you down like that man!!!!!) i think ven is a lot physically stronger than veevee(never really felt the need to workout) so theyd back off of him for a while because theyd def walk away with some Nasty bruises a few hours later bc ven is a HARD hitter.

OH HI HELLO OK THANK YOU ANON FOR ENABLING TO TALK AT LENGTH ABOUT MY OCS HEHE

so the story starts when camila (he/she) and matthew (he/him) are. created I guess? basically their main deal is that theyre human-adjacent. I say often that theyre basically anomalies within the universe that Should Not exist. theyre also perpetually a certain age (I think like 24ish) and always have been which leads to! existential crises as you do

but the universe can cope with two of these anomalies existing separately right? its only when they meet that the Problems and Horrors begin

basically when they meet theyre obviously strangers but essentially they end up dying together on a beach. it becomes strange after that when they are revived and eventually meet again. and when they die again after that. and again. you wont believe what happens next

so every time they die, matthew reappears somewhere random across the world and can Somehow end up coming back to camila who is (understandably) pretty annoyed that he doesnt have any means of knowing where matthew is. like the argument gets resolved but the lack of control is a pretty big point of contention. camila does sometimes get conversations with this like. entity that calls itself the universe but neither I or camila know if it's being facetious. im not sure what their deal is tbh. anyway yeah she sometimes gets to talk to them while being dead but theyre kind of a dick and it doesnt really help anyone but is somewhat useful in somewhat giving him an explanation. idk I kinda like nebulous and enigmatic characters (mainly bc I added them on impulse and idk really why) who are also just generally not fun to be around. hits it with a big cartoon hammer. anyway yeah that maybe evens it out a bit?

also sometimes when they die and are revived they (mainly matthew) get some sort of mutation like matthew is vaguely a vampire and also sometimes has 3 eyes depending on how I want to draw/picture him. camila also gets pigeon wings (specifically quite pale grey pigeon wings). he also one time woke up with idk just. free top surgery happened and theyre both like woahhhh holy shit this is epic

anyway it at some point becomes discovered that it's the act of them being together that causes the loop of dying and revival to happen bc like. their aforementioned anomalous status in the universe is ok on their own but impossible and overall Bad when they're together so the universe responds by. repeatedly killing them. this is confirmed to their great reluctance when they try to deliberately stay apart after they die one time and they just... dont die...

but by this point theyre like. very close (theyre queerplatonic and t4t and desperately in love. you know how it is) so they! decide theyd rather be stuck in this loop

ALSO at some point they end up working at this haunted house in the middle of the countryside with my other characters aoife and lauren (both she/her) who I! can very much talk about also if you want hehe

overall id say the main themes I wanna convey in the story (ive written a bunch of prose about them hehe but no like. concrete chronological story really) are 1. agency and 2. love as a choice and soulmates as a decision.

-im a firm believer that in mundane aus alec owns one of those hair shaving/clipping whatever kits and cuts his hair himself (hc brought to u by my memories of my dad shaving my brothers’ hair in the middle of the kitchen hjksf) so he. god i dont know the right terminology. he would help magnus keep the shaved parts of his hair crisp and clean kwjehfds and also they’d make a day out of re-dyeing magnus’ streaks !! basically just them doing magnus’ hair together idk!!!<3

-magnus leaves the door to the bathroom open when hes showering or doing his makeup routines and he makes a big show out of pretending it was TOTALLY on accident and he is just SO SURPRISED when alec joins him! truly! this is completely unexpected! hello tumblr ive never shared any headcanons here before so im kinda nervous and if this messes up i will be sad :'] so uhhh here u go !! just kinda me rambling abt wave 2 bc i cant sleep

i feel like when wave 2 met each other adeleine and ribbon got along with daroach really well. they all wanted to get along with dark too and know more about him but he refused to open up around them and hardly showed any emotion. and sometimes if he showed emotion it would only be annoyance. adeleine thought there was no point in trying to get to know this guy because he clearly wasnt going to talk anytime soon but ribbon and daroach thought dark had some potential. i like to think that one night, daroach is like "wtf is with this guy is something wrong??" and eventually has a "man to man talk" with dark and basically just asks why he wont have any fun and loosen up. dark just replies with something like "theres no point in making friends or having any kind of relationship because we'll just die in the end." bc thats kinda what youre taught in the mirror world since everyone is so fragile and leaves the world so quickly. plus dark would also think that if theyre gonna defeat void (did they even know about void at the time?? idk im too tired lol) theyd need to be on guard at all times, rather than "playing dumb games and fucking around." daroach is kinda sad after the talk because he thought he'd be able to break through darks tough barrier, and he really wanted to see dark be happy and just have fun. their adventure continues on as normal and dark really cant help but envy seeing the others having fun and laughing. hes never had much of a friendship in his life, and the other person hes ever been close to was shadow kirby, who isnt even there. he also thinks about how daroach basically offered to be friends and how he missed the opportunity to befriend everyone and is more or less pissed at himself for that. and also pissed at himself for wanting friends at all. plus the feeling of homesickness was bothering him and he kinda just. stares longingly at the ground with this glazed look in his eyes and adeleine is like "um oh shit is he ok??" and everyone goes and checks up on him and keep asking him questions and stuff and he gets overwhelmed and snaps at them. then after that he just sighs and says he misses his home. and everyone gasps and theyre like "what the fuck he just opened up about his feelings omg" and they were realizing that they were finally getting somewhere. and ribbon instinctively goes up and hugs dark and he remembers how shadow kirby had hugged him and even tho dark would never admit it, the hug was really secure and made him feel more at home in a way, and he was happy. and without realizing it he started purring and the others were like "AAAAAH HE PURRS??? AND HES HAPPY??" and it kinda turns into a big ol group hug and dark gets super flustered but accepts it. after that dark very slowly starts actually interacting with the others and forms special little bonds with the 3 of them. he even at one point quietly laughs at one of their dumb jokes. when they all get to the end of the game dark starts feeling sad and he doesnt know why? daroach probably calls them over for a pep talk before the final battle and they all realize that they *might* not survive this. they say goodbye and thank each other for everything, yknow, just in case. anyways they win the battles over and they all realize, "wow, we're all alive??" and while daroach adeleine and ribbon are laughing and stuff, dark has a lot of emotions bottling up. hes happy hes alive, hes happy his new "friends" are alive. and he thought he'd be happier to know hes going home soon. but hes not, he wants to stay with these guys because for once in his life he feels happy and safe. it took him a long time to realize it but he finally found friends that he loves and cares about :) after a while he says goodbye and goes home with a heavy heart, but feels better when he sees shadow kirby again, and tells the kid about everything that happened, while making himself sound as cool as possible ofc. i like to think that he often goes back to dreamland to see daroach adeleine and ribbon, and even lets s kirby come along sometimes :)

Ben isn’t very aware of this at first. He’s been dead since 2006 -- he’s quite used to it, by now. What he is aware of, first, is light. Blinding white light. And Vanya, in the middle of it. He doesn’t close his eyes because he can’t feel pain, but if he could he thinks she would have made him blind. There’s light, and heat, and power, and then he closes his eyes anyway because the ceiling is collapsing around him and it’s instinctual.

When he opens them again he sees ash. Ash -- and Klaus.

He’s gotten used to Klaus, too. Klaus has a memorable sort of face; even if he didn’t, Ben has seen it every single day for almost twenty years. He doesn’t know if it’s actually been twenty years, for him. He doesn’t know how time moves for ghosts. Klaus has assured him it moves the same as it does for the living. Ben isn’t sure Klaus, stoned out of his mind, bleeding sluggishly from his arm, knew what he was talking about.

Anyway.

Klaus.

He’s wearing the coat he’s been flaunting around for the past week. His shirt is see-through, with little stars on it, like a pale imitation of the sky. Ben remembers his pants had laces on them, he’s sure they did not a minute ago, before the brightness that threatened to wipe out his very soul -- his soul is all he has left, really. His gaze drifts down anyway, to check.

Yes. Klaus’ pants have laces up the sides.

“No,” Ben says. Klaus is laying in a heap on the ground, his fingers curled like his tendons have been cut.

His lips feel numb because they always feel numb. Because Ben can’t feel at all. He takes a step. “No,” he says again, louder, surer. “No!”

Klaus looks up at him. His makeup is smudged, like it tends to be. His lips are bitten raw, like they tend to be. His hair is a mess, like it tends to be, and like it will be, always, because Klaus isn’t breathing.

Klaus is lying in a heap on the ground. Klaus is standing above his own body. Klaus is reaching for Ben like he’s hoping to touch him for the first time in years. Just when Klaus’ cold, dead, fingers brush his face, a voice from behind says, so quietly, dripping with disbelief: “Ben?”

Ben shuts his eyes and wishes desperately he could cry.

He feels a hand on his shoulder, for the first time in so, so long, but he also doesn’t feel it at all. He feels-but-doesn’t-feel someone turn him around, until they are saying, “Ben? Ben!” and he has no choice but to open his eyes and face the music.

Diego is gripping his shoulders like he is a dying man and Ben is the answer. Behind him, Luther and Allison watch them, stunned silent. Allison’s hands are pressed to her mouth. She looks like she wants to cry. 

And Vanya. Little Vanya, painted white. Her head is hung as her shoulders shake with the weight of the destruction she has so inevitably caused. (Ben would say he always knew she was destined for great things -- but he can’t, because he didn’t.) (Nobody ever said great things had to be good.)

The Hargreeves siblings are dead. Their bodies are strewn across what is left of their childhood home, smouldering and burning, and Ben is very aware of that fact.

skeppy- you may think ive put him too far up, and yes, this dude somehow managed to run a 20-minute mile. yes, he only has 3 shirts but still has two cars, yes, i dont think hed be able to sacrifice someone else in a pinch. however what everyone is forgetting is that he has connections to the weirdest assortment of people i know, and could probably convince them to help him out. alone? f tier, dead in 3 days. with his car gassed up and knowing where his friends are at? he could last a while i think 4/10

dream- man, i really didnt wanna give mans the dub here, but i think i have to. 1. its known that all florida men are a different breed, and dream is Peak florida man. hes one of the only ones i could find that ever played an actual sport, and his quick-thinking skills displayed in manhunt is pretty much unmatched. he also shows a hint of cold logic in his actions, doing whatever it takes to gain popularity on youtube in the beginning, and i think that could translate to real life as well. overall, i cant say i was expecting this result, but i think its what i have to do 10/10

Cuz we got Chit trying to get the Chat as well… this is the 4th year in a row we raised over 1 million$ , and were having some auctions for charity. At one point Chad is on the pummelhorse which is an elastic band that hits you in the undercarriage , chelsea was there with a leg wax remover , then we had cody from code 4 which is our compliance officer with hand sanitizer. So Blaine pummelhorses chad , chelsea leg waxes him and then cody sprays him with the antiseptic (michael: in his eyes… Gen Notes i mean hes probably kidding but idk it seems possible) … chads on the pummelhorse weeping and Blaines ALREADY spinning the wheel. Michael: its funny , theres so much stuff that happened and not just the segments i was there for , but a simple delight getting chad to eat that whole pickle … he was just saying “i cant do it ill throw up” and i just kept repeating “youu can dooooo iit...”... gave me some enjoyment since i was there basically to get slapped around , but in between i made chad eat a pickle Jack: so jeremy you have a fave moment? I know you were there for the solo stream section - oh i forgot about DJ JAAWNK how could i that was a blast Jeremy: yeah i was listening to most of the solo streamer section , i know Kdin had a thing where she gathered a bunch of people to do among us and it was fun…. For a certain donation amount they would just launch john mace into space , theyd just call a meeting and get him… Matt joined me playing spyro and i had the Gold Chonky spyro mods on , and if people donated enough wed spin a wheel that me or him would have to do.. We had to spin it like 15 times , and alot of them were “have to hold the controller upsidedown” which is a monstrosity… and twice it was me put a blindfold on and matt would have to direct me through the level. I panicked A LOT cuz you could HEAR the enemies shooting at and coming at you   but i didn't know where … it was like a live Matt and Jeremy do something - your welcome sarah! (Michael: you did do something… Spearow… Spearowmint gum)  so first were doing SPiderman Miles Morales PS4 edition cuz i don't have a PS5! Everyones talking about how they're sold out so the most ive done was when i was shopping for ovens i was like “lemme peruse the playstation aisle” didn't see one and went guess im not getting one… Jack: are they even selling them in person or is it just online… Michael: i know game stop is selling them , they're sold out but i know they were selling them.... Think most stores waiting for black friday to get them in store… i want one but im not going to a store on black friday , ill play fall guys if i want to get trampled Jack: oh yeah someone mentioned the ChungeScwa heist is coming we reached that goal Michael: fiona said i could be there, i asked can i help and she said something like “plz help , cuz otherwise it wont happen.” ive also offered doing a 50 turn mario party even though it wasn't a goal cuz we didn't even do last years so now wed owe 2 for 2021 assuming we can make that happen. Jack: cant you do a 100 turn mario party is that a thing? Michael: no 50 is the most , ive contemplated maybe we combine them into one game and scores carry over but it might be upsetting if im ahead by 9 stars after 50 turns and then it just becomes a 4 hour victory lap so its probably better to do 2 of them… we were about to do one in april we were planning on shooting it in april but then SOMETHING came up idk what it was … it just kept coming up for 7 months… Jeremy: and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming… oh if were going to show my PS4 screen lemme show how much a  loser i am…. anyways i love how gon is increasingly approaching situations with his Plucky Shounen Protag Attitude in full swing, and he pretty much gets shot down every time. BUT his general determination to see killua bc killuas his FRIEND and hes gonna RESCUE HIM is still a good and pure motivating force 

like here, when hes climbing over the wall and hes like whatever i dont wanna have to deal w/being tested thats bullshit, i wanna see killua, my intentions are pure, im gonna try my luck with the dog....i was like ok yeah he’ll get over and like tame or defeat the dog and the guard will be suitably impressed bc nobodys ever done That before, and then gon will continue on to get killua 

but NOPE instead the guard calls him down and explains that gon Will Die if he tries that, and then the guard will die too for letting that happen. and gon is like oh shit my actions have consequences for people other than me, wow. 

and THEN the guard takes them in to meet the dog. and hot DAMN that is a scary creature. not even really a dog tbh. they did an excellent job making the dog Legit Scary and not just like, big and flashy looking....those eyes are so soulless, and the proportions are freaky 

and the guard says exactly what i was thinking - that gon would use his Country Boy Woodland Creature Skills to workaround the dog....but then the subversion - this creature is NOTHING like the woodland critters gon is probably used to dealing with. theres no way gon stood a chance here. the guard just saved him from a really unfortunate death 

i love all the Super Heavy Stuff in the servant house that seems so inconvenient vbhjdkfasjfld. also forgot to mention earlier but the guard guy being Absolutely Ripped was wild and kinda funny 

training montage! gon continues to be so cute. and i love so much how leorio and kurapika are like no, you rest, we’ll take care of this. good parents!!!!

and then!!!! they sync up and use the power of gay love to almost open the gate. but then gon uses the power of Improbable Shounen Protag Healing Speed to toss that arm sling off and help out

as i said above i doubt hisoka will show up now bc this arc is a lot shorter than i anticipated. also im doubting that illumis even gonna show up honestly 

i think we’re gonna have this OP for a while, as the part just at the end shows gon and hisoka fighting in what looks to be an arena, and ik the next arc is the heavens arena arc, which im assuming is the tournament arc....

also i have no idea what that weird building in the OP is but my guess is that its the building w/the heavens arena in it bc its tall and,,,,heaven 

i predict there wont be much fighting in this little arc bc how tf else is it so short. at this point i rlly think gon is just gonna grab killua and go lmao. im super curious abt how thats gonna go down, considering that killua is currently strung up just bc he wont apologize...so i cant imagine his family would just let him leave w/gon. i wonder if killua will fight them, or if gons determination will impress them and then theyll let killua go (doubt it)
