amvs & animatics are the most powerful form of fan-content by the way. if you even care.
#rambles#no other medium is as good at condensing a piece of media into a solid brick and hitting you over the head#they're much harder to recommend though. its like. if this amv doesnt hit you as hard as it hit me then i will be miserably embarrassed#also I think amvs have never escaped the perception of being Cringe the way fics and fan art have. SAD.#i've never looked up a piece of fan art five years later but you better believe i'm doing it with amvs#fan fic is also very powerful but I do not possess the ability to find good fan fic on my own rip#also maybe part of the reason they hit harder is just that. I can't make amvs.#maybe its just easier when I can't see the 'seams' of how something was made
