i also recommend if anyone is interested to try and write more realistic CoD fics, try doing some research on soldiers' lives and how the war affects ppl mentally and physically, it's a great help and there are enough resources

also, i can not stress this enough but if König is or was a soldier in the german bundeswehr who is super committed to that, then his vibes are off MASSIVELY. The bundeswehr is not an ordinary thing people join or do here. It tends to be right-wing / extremely conservative / corrupt... We had several affairs and scandals around the bundeswehr and if people would research that for writing König as a german soldier, they would find out very quickly and would need to reconcile that in their writing why someone would stay in such an institution.
