#I’m just so charmed by the Hulk’s loyalty to Betty#he notices that Betty is angry and isn’t sure if he should just automatically ‘help’ her which would presumably be to beat that guy up#also fascinated by the Hulk’s wavering understanding of his own lack of intelligence#he’s accused enemies and people he doesn’t like of being stupid before#particularly when they do or say something he doesn’t understand#and there was that one story where he tells a leaking dam to stop leaking and gets mad when it (obviously) doesn’t#and hits it which of course makes the problem worse#throughout this he’s accusing the dam of being dumb and is offended it didn’t listen to him#the Hulk is certainly aware that there’s a lot that he doesn’t understand#but he doesn’t seem to frame that as being an issue with him and tends to accuse others of trying to confuse him#I think the exception is his interactions with Betty#where- and this is something that’s taken him time to develop- he seems more aware that his actions have negatively impacted her life#and even expresses guilt for it- when pretty much anything else that the Hulk would feel guilty about he just quickly forgets about#marvel#bruce banner#betty ross#my posts#comic panels
