wasn't really sure how I felt about this but I went back in and gave it a little touch up (including making an entire texture layer NOT invisible. Good Lord.) and I really like it actually! also have a transparent Keke Suraida/K.K. Yamashita all on his own cause I think he's groovy :3

just remembered about that trend people were doing where they took music albums and redrew it to be KK Slider while I was doing chores and remembered immediately after that I can draw pretty much anything I want. much to think about.

#fun facts about the album title/text:#i didn't feel like trying to find a close enough font match for the title so i just. traced over the original. lmao #also for the title i thought about trying to make it more separate from K.K. instead of having the blues blend in all weird #but after thinking about it i felt that the fact it does that is kinda iconic to the album itself and the era #for the artist name at the top right:#i was originally gonna make it say 'とたけけ/Tota Keke' which is K.K.'s name in Japanese!#but even when it was romanized it felt too short? so i thought about making it 'K.K. Slider'#but i felt it was important to keep everything tied to the fact that this is an album from specifically a prolific Japanese artist #so i went in more of a katakana -> romanized phonetic spelling route with 'Keke Suraida' as a sort of compromise #lastly the 'RAL 8501' was originally gonna become 'PAW' and the month and year the first AC came out #but i really needed a way to put in my little artist's signature in this without it being intrusive so that's what it became #Alyssa's art
