oh the amount of academics here who want to suck up to white academics that they end up ignoring local voices of marginalized people trying to voice out their own observations .... like okay u need validation and connections and networking and a way to get money and you'll stay with that forever instead of doing genuine work

#so much of academia is writing 3 good papers and then talking to everyone (students #and then talking to everyone (esp marginalized people) like theyre lesser than u #there def are people who are really going out there and doing work but i think there are so many academics who fail to look at how much #they end up catering to white people #bc they refuse to look at anything beyond aesthetics and the preservation of a past that have only benefitted people like them #also fuck fundos bc they take this argument to turn it into right wing bullshit #tune.txt
