Oso - wtf is romance? He doesnt do romance. Bisexual and non binary masc presenting likely more masc leaning when asked he shrugs and for convenience says hes a dude. he/him pronouns

Kara - bi as fuck.. romance to 10000%! Agender. Karamatsu just wants to wear flashy clothes and be happy about himself (i guess more masc but he doesnt care gender presentation doesnt matter to him) he/him pronouns occasionally they/them

Choro - choro is the ONE im unsure of... Probs bc everyone just make him the straight cis dude but i like trans lesbian choro lmao... She/her but i am not opposed to awkward bi nonbinary dude choromatsu (he/him in that case..)

Ichi - doesnt care. would rather die than have a gender assigned to ichimatsu would just like to be referred to as ichimatsu or not at all. No pronouns. You are right in that ichi would say "dont" if anyone asked oh, also gay. Maybe bi? Poly definitely tbh still thinking about the christmas couple

Guilty Pleasures: He wouldn’t call it a guilty pleasure, but he’d likely turn down sex for a good slab of brisket. The man is a meat snob. His parents own a ranch in Texas that raises beef cows. 

Phobias: Rats. This dude can catch rattlesnakes with his bare hands, but he’s terrified of rats. He can’t even deal with a dead one. Someone else has to dispose of it. Pendergrass once caught one on the Myeongnyang with the intention of keeping it as a pet, and when she showed it to him he actually screamed. 

What They Would Be Famous For: Trivia Night Champ. He knows the most random shit. He and Aslany once won a trivia competition because he knew the name of the first turian Primarch without even having to think about it. 

Also, no one has ever asked him a question about dinosaurs he does not know the answer to. (In case you’re wondering, Quetzalcoatlus is his favorite.)

What They Would Get Arrested For: Ponzi scheme. Beaudoin can charm people into anything. The kicker, he wouldn’t realize it was a Ponzi scheme. 

OC You Ship Them With: His relationships with the ‘Yang crew never really stray from platonic. Kaidan wonders if he has a thing for Kara Pendergrass every now and then, but it’s really just a brotherly thing. He likes to look out for her and make sure she’s ok, but he’s not interested in her. He actually digs aliens more than humans. 

OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Kara Pendergrass. Beaudoin is an extrovert stuck on a team of introverts, and he constantly tries to get her and the others to join him on nights out when they are docked somewhere they can have a night off. Kara has threatened to shove a grenade down his pants many times. 

Favorite Movie/Book Genre: He fucking loves alien-produced movies based on Earth culture, especially westerns. His favorite movie of all time is a turian cowboy film. He has an autographed copy of the script in his footlocker. Also, his watches a shit ton of dinosaur documentaries. Documentaries in general is something he and Aslany bond over.       

Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Dramas and anything overly pretentious. He likes his entertainment to make him laugh or teach him something.   

Talents and/or Powers: He can charm the pants off anyone, and not in the sleazy used car salesman kind of way. We’re talking full blown southern gentleman, ‘bring home to mama’ levels of charm, complete with southern drawl. The best part is he’s genuine. Even Aslany likes him (most of the time). 

This means that of my three ‘Yang marine OCs, he is the only one who can converse with a stranger without making an ass out of himself. Aslany and Pendergrass think he’s magic. And always make him do all the talking when they go places. 

Why Someone Might Love Them: He is impossibly easy going and laid back, so he can get along with anyone. It’s virtually impossible to piss him off. The only person who has succeeded is a poor, hapless marine on the Madrid who once bullied Pendergrass. Beaudoin took a page out of Aslany’s book and punched him in the face. 

Why Someone Might Hate Them: He is a very outgoing extrovert, and everyone else on the ‘Yang’s marine detail is an introvert. 

How They Change: He doesn’t really believe in himself as a soldier until he gets assigned to the ‘Yang. His proficiency scores have always been average. He’s dependable but has never been cream of the crop. But the more time he spends with this marine detail, the more he starts to believe in himself. These people depend on him, and his worst nightmare is letting them down. 

Why You Love Them: He’s just so likeable. He’s the team’s sanity. Nothing fazes him. He gives great hugs and knows just what to say when you’re having a shitty day. He thinks of himself as the weakest link, but Aslany and Pendergrass would have been kicked out of the service six times over without him to look after them.
