hi there, i love the site and the premise of the rp so far! i was just wondering if there was credit for the art you used in the site listed anywhere?

i've gone ahead and added a credit notice to both the site navigation and FAQ pages on our site. as we state there, artworks and images used on the site are primarily sourced from the Internet Archive, Wikimedia Commons, and antiqueanimals here on tumblr. 

this is something that i (mir here! main purveyor of the site's creative layout, images, etc) considered implementing when i was first working on the site. i work in the information field and definitely want to be sure we're accountable for the sources we use! we've also included a copyright statement in the credit, which reads:

To the best of our abilities, we try to only use images, photographs, and artworks in the public domain or otherwise unrestricted for use under creative commons licenses. TSatS is a noncommercial entity and we do not profit off of our site or content. We will remove/change images on request of copyright holders, when applicable.
