Seeing people get into guilty gear in such a joy, I found out about it last year and it gave me a bit of a serotonin boost but also finding out about Elphelt Valentine made me legitimately happy (she gives me so much comfort tbh). So seeing someone f/o a guilty gear character too makes me really happy. Guilty Gear is just so amazingly wild and super fun with amazing character designs. anyways- that’s besides the point.

I want to know what was the thing about Leo Whitefang that made you go ‘OH NO I LOVE HIM’? Or was it that you were able to instantly connect with him and his character? Or was it something else entirely that drew you to him?

Also to address the large elephant in the room it’s wonderful to see you back! By the sounds of it you’re in a much happier after taking time away from the platform. I know the thing that kinda drew you away was the attitude towards art and ‘making content’ (gosh that sounds so ‘corporate’ every time I type it).

Please do not feel pressured to having to post art on a consistent basis, I’d rather you post things in your own time when you’re satisfied and happy with the creations you are making. Take your time if you have to there is no shame in taking things at your own pace /genuine.

(Also sorry if this ask is a little too long! It’s just that I don’t often see people f/o’ing guilty gear characters so it’s nice to see another person who likes a character from the series.)

I've been shipping with this man casually for a long time actually! I've played the games since 2010, even cosplayed May and shipped with Testament back in the day! 💜 My pets are called Ky, May and Juno (after Jack-O's theme in Xrd) too, so you know I'm in this fandom deep!

I've been shipping with Leo since 2015 or 2016 I believe when I bought Xrd Sign, he's just been on the sidelines for a long time because I thought he wouldn't return! But!! I was so excited when he did that I couldn't help myself but wanna smooch him again???

Funnily enough I usually go for more feminine men with long hair and pretty features, so Leo is very much not my usual type- I do find him very attractive in his own way though, but his whole personality of "I have PTSD but I will boast my way through it and be positive" just really resonated with me because I also have PTSD and I just admire the strength he has. I also really love the comic relief they did with him in Xrd, that just made him extra special to me since he feels like a real person with real quirks that way 💜

Also thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really just relaxing and taking my time with things since I really did have a proper burnout and even ended up with some pretty heavy RSI in the process, so it's not like I can do a lot of art right now still anyways- I've just had so many good things happen recently, so I finally felt like I could return. I'm still wary of the whole art thing though, especially since my artwork gets occassionally stolen and used for commercial purposes...
