in an alternate universe they kept the sheryl crow song for the gilmore girls theme and that's exactly the version of gilmore girls i blab so much about... i just know with sheryl crow we would have s1 jess (maybe even before that. jess is 12 and is dropped on lukes doorstep with no explanation) + forever cool girl lorelai + weirdo rory and her normal voice + moody cinematography and rohmeresque pauses (No fr fr they have them in s1 ..) + harvard + the lesbian aunts sookie/lorelai dynamic (think sabrinas aunts) + THE BLUEISH FILTER etc .....
