i'm going to mtl for a weekend and i've been kinda overwhelmed about it, i teach for a couple hours the morning of and then i eat and then my dad is driving me to the airport and then i have a 1 hour layover ahhhh and the night before i teach toooo. ofc i'm excited to travel but i'm also disappointed in myself like i don't think i can stay fully away during the daytime like i'm gonna need a nap... i haven't stated packing etc etc i'm gonna do my laundry rn i guess 🤧

i just noticed this but in playing disco elysium, the real estate agent in the apartment's last name is Charpentier but pronounced it like shar-pawn-tee-ay is that how that name is pronounced my childhood best friend that I wanted to marry when I was 7 and cried when he said he wanted to marry some girl (when he was also 7) had that last name and maybe its because I'm a HoH francophobe but I pronounced it like. how its written. char-pen-tear. I've mispronounced french friends surnames for years and every time I learn I'm mispronouncing it my life feels like a lie.
