Guys is it just me or is Memories by Conan Gray double life/limited life desert duo coded, just like a little bit????

Hear me out on this one I’m kind of imagining Grian visiting Scar during limited life and them having a chat of some kind I’ve read a fic with that sort of premise and they bring up a bunch of stuff from double life and third life???

Also the lyrics “you see it’s hard to find an end to something that you keep beginning, over and over again, I promise that the ending always stays the same, so there’s not good reason to make believe that we could ever exist again” is /so/ life series desert duo coded in my brain they teamed up during third life and then were paired during double life and also there was that moment in last life where Scar almost joined the Southlands but didn’t if I remember correctly cause he didn’t do the aha joke with the telescope BUT MY POINT is that they find each other and are connected with each other somehow in most if not all of the life series and like!!!! Aughhhh it’s so desert duo specifically Scars perspective to me!!!

And also the lyrics “I can’t be your friend, can’t be your lover, can’t be the reason we hold back each other from falling in love, with somebody other than me” Grian literally had a secret soulmate during double life this 100% feels like Scar knowing it’s a bad idea to team up with Grian because of the cactus ring and what happened in third life but also because Grian was going behind his back and had a secret soulmate!!!

And the bridge to this song feels like a narration of some angsty ass limited life meetup where Grian goes to see Scar and tries to make things right but fucks it up cause they’re both kind of idiots but anyways please listen to Memories by Conan Gray and tell me if I’m a little bit right at all or if it’s just really late and I’m too tired to make real thoughts????
