currently working on: @roguesgame is probably my biggest wip if we’re talking about writing, but I’ve been playing around with another (untitled and unannounced) story lot lately. aside from that, i am writing a rom-com novel called dizzy spells and have been revisiting a research paper from college that I’d like to turn into a non-fiction historical book during my lunch breaks at work.

crafts-wise, i’m working on a crocheted bag I was commissioned to make but I’m already thinking about the colors I’d like to use for a retro top I’m making for myself as soon as I’m done with the bag.

hi! so i’m (relatively) new to tumblr (only been here like two months now) and i want to start reaching out for more sw mutuals but i don’t know how and it’s lowkey intimidating bc people in the fandom are either super chill or super…not chill, i guess. any advice??

Hi, anon!!! First off, thanks so much for the kind words!! As a shy person myself, I completely get what you're saying! I get how some people can seem intimidating, and from my personal experience of my circle who i've chatted with, most definitely fit into the chill category!

If you really want to start interacting with people more, there are a lot of simple ways to start. The easiest and least intimidating way is if you see them posting ask games, send those in so people kinda recognize your url more. Asks in general are a great way to just chat and share thoughts with people, and if you want it in a more private setting the private messages work as well.

As far as judging who you might want to reach out to, starting off with any mutuals is always good. If they aren't mutuals but you follow them, sometimes interaction might influence them to follow you back or have some communication back too. Speaking for myself, I don't automatically follow back but usually when people send me stuff or share a lot of stuff from my blog, I tend to follow them back after their url is familiar to me. And I get how it can be a bit nerve wracking striking a conversation with people who you don't know, even in an online space, but if you're following them it's most likely because you have similar interests and those always lead to more conversations!
