finally managed to take a semi decent pic so sneak peek at my current book nook + flowers in progress
#my acrylic paints are so shiny/reflective that the backgound rarely shows up even semi decently in photos#the sunbeams aren't quite this visible now that they're dried which is a good thing imo ^^#also it took like 7 layers of alcohol markers & acrylic paint to get the flowers from yellow to a pink that actually fits the other pink#they turned out real cute though imo#not visible here at all: the soft golden shimmer in the wood on the ground and on the door and in the sunbeams/rest of the background#also this is a rather late sneak peek but it has been in the barely discernible/kinda ugly stage for a while now so i didn't wanna take pics#pretty happy how the paint job of the lil wooden door turned out though!#i just really hope the trees i made will actually get some nice bits of green on them that won't fall off - it's supposed to be spring#so only a little bit of green should do#and they'll be in front of the background anyway#miniature#book nook#my art#probably a terrible time to post again but eh
