trying new things and by "new things" I mean drawing my guys in a square canvas with a different brush than usual
#my art#anthro#furry#oc#els#mendel#mockley#it's a lot of fun. i'm considering doing some comms on fr and I want a cheap option for people#so this is like a trial run for that.....it's also my favourite human els i've ever drawn she looks suitably sad and wretched#i feel like scitchy scratchy tactile brushes and lots of black lines are a big part of my art identity right now#so I always wonder if my stuff is still recognisable or interesting to people when i'm not scribbling#basically I can't tell if these guys look like they were drawn by me or not. but I guess the answer to that is who cares why does it matter#also just noticed mockley and mendel are doing the exact same pose near enough. fascinating exposure of how I default to the same poses
