can u recommend any really good jimon writers/fics in particular?

this question really only serves to look like i’m a superfan for jess but I yam what I yam so you know what i don’t even care. all my favorite writers are on this list! (i think!) also if i listed every single story i loved from these authors we’d be here for years. if the author’s on this list, i love all their stories.

i don’t know if people realize but i’m a little obsessed with jess and her fics? i’d read anything she wrote. she could tell me that jace shapeshifts into a wooden table and simon is the thrift store shopper who accidentally buys him when he panics and changes into table form and they fall in love and i’d believe her.  this part of the post is cancelled, jess found out and made me write this and you can find it here anyway this fic is not actually about table!jace but a sweet, heartwarming, and ridiculously funny story about how simon and jace move from enemies to friends, told through their texts to each other and other people over time. features this iconic text from luke: THAT’S MY BOY

i mean look i hope everyone’s read syncopation by now by this author because it’s just one of the best jimon friends to benefits aus every written, period, but i also wanna strongly recommend this fic because it’s just, god, it’s exquisite. the pining, the pacing, the amount of loving detail that goes into crafting the progress of jace and simon’s relationship - it’s all so good. it’s not finished yet, but its on the final chapter (i think).

this is so adorable and full of witty little observations from everyone on the outside looking in at jace and simon, and ends with the cutest possible first kiss. everything sarah writes is so good and she has so many introspective pieces that explore the relationships between characters. (also i know this is supposed to be a jimon fic rec but family is family was one of the first fics i read when i was devouring sh content and i wanna make sure everyone’s reads it because it’s amazing!!)

hey jess why is this title so long??? anyway jace has a tiny daughter and simon is a kindergarten teacher. nothing i write will ever compare to the pure sweetness of this, which i consider to be the original kid fic and i always read when i’m having a bad day. it genuinely just lifts me up.
