The Mandalorian season 3 is living proof that the writer's guild knew they were going to strike MONTHS in advanced.
There were so many character inconsistencies, and major plot lines just skipped over entirely. Plot threads that went absolutely nowhere, and overall, the show just kind of looked sloppy? The season just felt kind of incomplete, in my opinion.
Like they hastily threw it together to fill out the time before they (rightfully, we support fair wages for all on this page 😌) striked.
#the Mandalorian season 3#the mandalorian critical#andor should have been the damn blueprint going forward#also if you didn’t want din to have the darksaber you could have just not given it to him#grogu was basically an accessory until the very end of the season#also ppl keep saying bo was redeemed but how#she didn't actually atone for anything#she just saw a damn dinosaur and they were like 'i guess this'll work'#this reeks of disney meddling because girls liked the mandalorian and we must not let the girlies like something without a girlboss#when what people liked was din going through the hero's journey being a kind and compassionate man who brings people together like no other#he got bo katan and boba fett to WORK TOGETHER to save his son but he isn't a leader bc????#'he didn't want it' neither did most of the cast of the original but that's not the POINT#if you didn't want din to be a leader don't spend two seasons showing us why he should be#also did you guys forget that bo is directly responsible for your dwindling and dying culture#you can enjoy the series but let's not pretend this season was well written#also gotta love din going from actively distrusting the new republic to working for them just to complete the copaganda circle#again if that's where you were going you probably should not have shown them actively making shit more difficult for din with no resolution

ush/ijima. ironically my feelings are a lot like oiks toward him. like, i know he doesnt actively want to cause harm w/ his honesty.that he just loves volleyball and wants to be the best he can be. that’s admirable and i acknowledge that. but like!! he’s just so obnoxiously perfect and his blunt way of speaking piss me off. i also really dont like how he kept discrediting oik/s choices. like, he didnt reach his full potential whatever, but like, how can you say that when oikyboi had a team that he trusted, and trusted him. sei/joh was considered the most complete team in the prefecture, and they probably loved each other, like, i get wanting to be great, to reach full potential, but sometimes there are way more important things. and im really happy that myboikawa is keeping his “worthless pride”
also atm i really dont like at/sumu bc hes a cocky shit and i thought he was sketch since the youth camp. no deep reasoning, just do not like him, cannot see redeeming qualities highkey dont want to. i just wanna be my bitter self, waiting for him to get his ass handed to him by our most reliable MB
