Just as a thought experiment, what would Wilbur ever do if he woke up as a burrower, like he was suddenly tiny, would he go to Tommy? Niki? (I imagine he might be wary of going to Tommy Incase he might eat him but I can't imagine Niki would be at all willing to help him or care after he ate so many of their kind)

Also does Wilbur live with Tommy? (I've realized I've just assumed they live together though considering Tommy felt comfortable enough to keep beeduo living with him I doubt that's the case lol) so does Wilbur ever come over and give Tommy surprise visits and he has to scramble to make sure beeduo is safe

Are there anyways that safe noms could exist in this universe? (The idea Tommy could protective nom beeduo to hide them from Wilbur gives me so much serotonin though I'm guessing no since (from what I understand) Wilbur and Tommy are normal humans with normal biology (unless mayhaps they have potions in this world? Like fire res and regen and such??))

And as a little extra I can imagine Wilbur holding Niki to his throat as he swallows so she can feel his snack go down and since Wilbur is so mean he might also hold her to his belly so she can feel the burrowers squirming inside and hear them crying,,, (and when she makes a fuss over it Wilbur would just grin at her and go "you can always join them if you're so worried?")

Are SBI in this series? How do they fit in are they humans? Giants or tinies maybe 👀

I know you've said that humans don't see giants nor tinies as people but do giants and tinies view each other as people or merely predator and prey respectively?

Are safe noms a thing in this universe 👀 (storage stomachs mayhaps?)

How are the giants kept in zoos? Is it like a sort of pit so they can't climb out? (Sort of like how some enclosures for I think gorillas? Are in irl zoos but much bigger

And finally! Are Tubbo and Tommy kept in the same enclosure or different ones? And do they have their own language separate from humans?

For extermination au:

If Wilbur ever woke up tiny, well, he is certainly not going to ask for help. Especially NOT from food, nuh uh. He would refuse to ask Niki for assistance, considering everything he’s done to torment her, and as far as he knows, Tommy is just as hungry for borrowers as he is. Wilbur isn’t sure exactly how the magic works in his body, since it’s not like there’s books on how to eat borrowers. So yeah, he would probably hide in his room, away from everyone, to either wait it out or mentally prepare himself for this very shocking new lifestyle. :)

Wilbur actually doesn’t live with Tommy here. Tommy is still basically a kid who lives with his parents, and Wilbur is more like a family friend to him. Though sometimes Wilbur might drop by to say hi and talk to his parents, and he has to scramble to hide his borrowers. He hasn’t told his parents about what happened because they consider borrowers pests at best, and keeping two as ‘pets’ is a good way to get sent to the doctors for diseases. Tommy is pretty lucky that Wilbur hasn’t caught a sight of his borrowers yet, because he’s quite aware that Wilbur will finish what Tommy couldn’t.

Basically for any protective noms to work, the nommer would have to use something like alka seltzer to reduce the acidity of the stomach. I kinda took more of a realistic approach with this au (as realistic as borrowers can be wHEEZE) so there’s not many potions that can be used. I think human preds are fun because they can’t exactly control their digestive system. >:) So while protective noms are feasible, it’s definitely not something to do without lots of planning and preparation. Because things could definitely go wrong >:)

And YES!!! Absolutely!!!! Sometimes he’ll keep his mouth open so Niki can watch him swallow her fellow borrowers. But oooohoooo the pressing against the throat so she can feel where they went,,, and then the very casual threats after she freaks out. Yes!! Definitely!!! Even if he can’t bring himself to completely get rid of her (since she just tastes so delicious), he might as well get some of that tasty fear scent :) better than nothing!

Keeper au:

Ya know, I was definitely thinking about maybe giving the sbi a cameo, maybe with Wilbur and Techno as humans, and maybe Phil as a tiny that caused a little bit too much trouble. Would be a shame if something happened to him, definitely. :)

Giants and tinies generally see each other as, well, not exactly equals. They’re not friends, but they wouldn’t go about actively trying to hurt each other in the wild. Plus giants tend to have lower tones when they speak (along with their own language) while tinies often speak at a different frequency. So while they could certainly hear each other, it would take some practice. So tinies just try to avoid giants, and while giants won’t normally eat them, if they get desperate or are just extremely understimulated, then, well, they will. Course since the zoo is very bad at being a zoo the giants are often understimulated and very very hungry.

I’m not exactly a biologist, buuuuut I was thinking about this idea. The giants in this au will have a more complicated digestive system. There will first be a sort of holding stomach, that just sort of holds food, and then there will be an actual stomach. Well fed giants will often have both going at the same time. Zoo giants often don’t wait for the food to sit in the first stomach and will send it directly to the acidic stomach. So yes safe noms are a thing, but zoo giants don’t often use em.

The enclosure they have is basically just a really deep pit. There’s reinforced glass on basically every side so visitors can watch the giants while being safe from harm. There’s a few platforms above the pit where keepers will go for training sessions and for feeding time. The enclose is deep, but pretty small for a giant like Tommy, who has very long limbs. He’s tried escaping, but gets either shocked or simply is refused food. And since he’s already starving, Tommy isn’t too willing to risk losing food.

And finally, Tubbo and Tommy are kept in different enclosures! Because the zoo doesn’t want them working together to escape, because then who knows what havoc they’ll cause and how many people they’ll eat. But their enclosures are pretty close together, so they can still talk to each other. Sometimes one will crouch down to look at the other through the observation windows just so they know that they’re still alive. And yes, giants have their own language, which is both helpful and not helpful. Because when they’re caught, they have to learn the humans’ chosen language in order to be trained, or they’ll be punished. They don’t have to learn everything, just commands that they’ll have to listen to if they want food.
