Okay, the latter half of Body Paint has won me over 🥰

I’m starting to suspect that this is an album that I’ll utterly fall in love with once I get the chance to listen to it all the way through, and that hearing the songs out of context is doing them a disservice. They’ve both (Mirrorball and Body Paint - I haven’t listened to the others) been really good, but I haven’t instantly fallen in love with either of them. Which admittedly - with the exception of TBHC - has been a constant in my relationship with Arctic Monkeys 😅

#it's worth pointing out that my first experience with TBHC was listening to it all the way through on a long bus journey #which is pretty much an ideal way of being introduced to that album #not sure how I would have felt about the individual songs had I been introduced to them completely out of context #which is why I'm willing to believe I'll fall head over heels for AM7 once its out 😊#also the strings in both songs have been ✨immaculate✨#Arctic Monkeys #The Car #AM7
