(hi for the first time in way too long, writer god!! sending you lots of good vibes) kotlc cast as dog breeds?
hello to you too!! I haven't interacted with you in a very long while, so it's wonderful to see you again. As always, the writer god title is very flattering, so thank you for that...writer...worshiper? Disciple? Follower? If I'm a god what does that make you? I think you are also worthy of the god title for some of your fics, I must admit.
also I know so little about dogs and even less about their breeds, so instead I will offer you pictures of dogs I find on the internet that remind me of the characters. And also explain my choices because of course I have to.
because there's a lot of pictures i'll put it under a cut to save everyone's dashboards! enjoy the dog pics!
Sophie:
Tumblr media
Something about this dog just feels homey. Beagles feel like a family dog, and because Sophie is so motivated by her friends and family, it feels like it fits her. It looks cuddly, and so is Sophie!
Fitz:
Tumblr media
Okay so German Shepards have a kind of reputation as smart, good dogs. They're good at things and have a desire to please, which seems similar to Fitz's own reputation. Capable, praised, well-known, etc. They also both look nice.
Dex:
Tumblr media
I've heard that pit bulls have a bad reputation and many people have bad opinions of them, which is perfect for Dex. Until they get to know him, a lot of people have negative assumptions before seeing how sweet they are. Additionally, the coloring is kinda similar to Dex's hair, which is nice! Very lovable.
Keefe:
Tumblr media
I have no clue what breed this is, but maybe something leopard? Either way, it stands out for it's fur color, which seems reminiscent of The Hair. It's got a striking appearance and ice blue eyes like Keefe's, so it seemed only fitting to match the two. You know it's fitting that this is the only breed I don't know and Keefe's is the only ability we don't know and is a mesh of other things.
Linh:
Tumblr media
Apparently Golden Retrievers are very friendly and open, reminiscent of Linh's sweet, approachable personality. They look very warm and cuddly, but also serene and go-with-the-flow, all aspects that remind me of Linh. The beach in the background doesn't hurt either. They're also like a family dog, so some of Sophie's reasoning applies here as well.
Tam:
Tumblr media
Wolfdog! Yes it's black and that's Tam's color, but also the kinda...not entirely dog vibe you get from it is perfect. It's like a dog but also a lot more dangerous feeling, similar to how Tam is technically a part of elven society and interacts but also doesn't feel like he'll ever fully integrate. He's always going to be other and to stand out, more menacing and critical than everyone else. He always carries his time banished and his twin status as a banner, a sort of grim pride.
Biana:
Tumblr media
Something about this picture in particular feels very Biana. It's regal, graceful, aesthetic. Her as a husky feels right, the positive, fun reputation and the comments they get for their beauty. Sophisticated and poised. They've got this allure to them that reminds me of her!
Marella:
Tumblr media
Marella gets to be the small shitzu! Something about how they have such potential to look so disheveled feels right given how Marella is frequently described as looking the same. They're fun and cute, but also feel a little sneaky. They're small and can get places, similar to how Marella can know things and find things out in ways others don't understand.
Stina:
Tumblr media
I feel like this one needs very little explanation. Stina as a poodle is like...so pompous. Not only the similarities in the poofy hair, but poodles have this reputation (especially in cartoons I think?) of being owned by rich people and being in dog shows, being superior to others, etc. Those fit Stina pretty well, the snobby attitude and the reputation alongside how regal they are, if that makes sense.
Maruca:
Tumblr media
Okay I'm not entirely sure why this feels right but it does. They're apparently intelligent and energetic, which I think mimics her attitude towards joining the fight. She knows her uses and is eager to make her contributions. However...I specifically chose a younger looking dog because Maruca is newer to the battle. She's eager but makes mistakes and hasn't really learned what she's doing yet. Once she does she'll be very useful, but for now she might need a little guidance.
So there you have it! Apparently I do know enough about dog breeds to assign one to each character and give some reasoning, and as a bonus you get a bunch of dog pictures!! This was a very fun approach to the characters, and I'm sure there are many dog people on this hellsite, so that's fun for all of them!!
thank you for the inspiration!!

First Meeting
I have like 3 different versions for how Zola met the Autobots ( specifically Optimus) but thos one's my favorite.
So this was it. I wake up. Shower. Feed RG0 ( pronounced Argo ) my Rottweiler, German Shepard mix. Eat breakfast. Workout. Then tinker and tinker till the day is spent on whatever project I'll probably never finish. I usually skip lunch and go straight to dinner. After that I'd read, paint watch tv or even practice playing my ukulele. Then I'd sleep and do it all over again as I've been doing for the past three years.
The best part is that my routine is never interrupted by outsiders since I'm alone in the woods. Or at least until now.
One night RG0 decided that he wanted to stray away from our normal path. I was fine with even though he was off leash. Nighttime in the forest no longer scared me. I felt more safe than anything. I still brought my shotgun just in case.
Then I heard a loud boom and stopped in my tracks. Before I knew it RG0 bolted into the direction of the loud sound. I hurried after him in a panic.
" Crazy dog! Now is not the time to be curious!!!"
He zoomed past the twisting trees over the uneven ground that slowed me down. Over the thumping of my heartbeat I could hear more loud sounds that were all getting louder. What was this dog leading me to? Thankfully he stopped at a dead end.
I recognized it as a small cliff that overlooked the largest valley in the forest. RG0 stood at the edge and stared down quietly with his ears perked. I slowed down and began to catch my breath only for it to leave my lungs again in shock.
The once peaceful, lush valley was now a warzone filled with....robots??? Why the hell are there robots?! And why are they fighting for that matter?!! There had to be ten - no - twelve of them. All with futuristic guns and other weapons used to harm and maybe even kill. But there seemed to be two groups. It wasn't just random fighting.
The ones with brighter colors seemed to only be fighting the ones with sharper, more threatening features. Wait did they have matching symbols? Ugh! I can't tell without my glasses.
Hang on...what were these things exactly? Some kind of government project gone wrong or maybe a test? It would make since sense these woods are deserted despite me and RG0. Wait did they not know I was here. I have been keeping a low profile. Maybe I'm not suppose to be seeing this. Holy Crap!!! One of the little ones just ripped off the other's arm!!!!
" Ok buddy," I held onto RG0s collar and began to step back slowly. " No clue what the hells going on but we're leaving right now."
Then as luck would have it, one if the robots was blasted into the cliff with an eerily human cry of pain. The force of the impact made me fall over and RG0 yelp. Apparently we'd been loud enough to be heard since the robot, who was tall enough to rest their elbow ( or at least what looked like one ) on the cliff's edge, spotted us.
They were red, blue and silver from what I could see. They also seemed to be wearing some sort of mask. But what really stood out was their glowing eyes that stared back at mine. They held so much emotion and intelligence. That and they were the most beautiful shade of blue.
Before I could admire the metallic stranger any longer, a screeching voice runge out.
" Well Prime, it looks like you've found one of the planet's many pests. Here let me dispose of it for you."
Oh that can't be good.
An energy blast from above missed me and RG0 by a hair. I frantically searched above the trees to see another robot high in the sky with a blaster pointed at us.
Oh great they can fly too!!!
Without a second thought we bolted back down the path with the flying bot hot on our tails. RG0 was taking the path home but I managed to signal him to follow me down another in the opposite direction. I hadn't been this way in a while but the last thing I need is them knowing where we live. It would have been a lot easier to runaway if I didn't have to keep running ina zigzag to avoid blasts. From the high pitched laughter, I could tell that this metal douchebag was enjoying our scurrying.
The robot must have gotten tired of flying since they landed on the ground. Right in front of us.
" As fun as this chase has been, human. I'll need to finish the job before Megatron gets suspicious of why my mission is taking so long. Not that you understand any of what I'm saying. With your inferior intellect and all."
Ok. Doucheness just went from a 10 to a 20.
They pointed their blaster at me, causing RG0 to jump in front of me and growl at them.
" Aw. The organic has a loyal pet. Let's see how well it handles my plasma beam."
" No!"
I held RG0 close to me and awaited the blast that never came. Instead another came from behind us and hit the flying robot's in their blaster, damaging it.
" Leave them alone Starscream!" came a noble, booming voice.
It was the red robot from before.
" Argh! How dare you interrupt my fun once again Optimus Prime!"
Ok good I've got their names now. Guessing that Optimus is the good guy.
Oh great now they're fighting and I'm way too close!
I barely managed to get out of the way as they tussled around, making the ground shake. Once I was a good I looked over my shoulder to see Optimus, the nice robot, pause to give me a look that said "run." He was distracted long enough for Starscream, aka the douchebag, land a kick on his injured side. That must be where he was shot earlier considering there was a hole leaking some sort of fluid.
Optimus groaned and fell to his knees. He was about to get up before Starscream pointed his still somewhat functional blaster at his face.
" You've disappointed me, Prime. Bested by a few blows? Where's that legendary power?! Ah well. No matter. Megatron shall be pleased when I deliver your helm to him."
That should've been my cue get RG0 and I ro safety, seeing that Optimus was only fighting this guy to give us an opening to flee. But was he really going to die? Or would he be fine if we left? It's not like we could help him anyway!
Unless....
" Hey Starscream!"
" Huh-"
Starscream emitted a pathetic wail when one one of my rifle's bullets hit his face. Then another. And another.
" Why you little-"
Before he could aim his blaster, RG0 jumped on his foot and barked up at him loudly.
" Ew get off me you disgusting organic parasite!"
He hopped from foot to foot as RG0 jumped around his feet and pawed at them. Meanwhile I kept shooting at him, making a few noticeable dents in his armor. All the chaos made him do a panicked jig and whine. I couldn't help but giggle.
'Serves you right!!!'
He had enough once he accidentally shot himself in the foot trying to get RG0.
" ARGH! Oh that's it! Now you both die!"
Then Optimus, now having recovered some, shoved him at full force. It sent him tumbling threw a few trees, scratching his metal skin and bending one of his wings. He laid a groaning mess in a heap with Optimus' gun aimed at his head.
" I think it's time for you to go."
With that Starscream transformed into a jet- wait how the HELL- and flew away. I was so taken aback by his transformation that I didn't notice one of the now dented trees give out and fall towards me.
" Look out!" Optimus warned.
RG0 thankfully tackled me out of the way but my head hit the ground to hard and everything turned black.
-------------
I woke up with a throbbing headache and sore muscles. Even worse my bed felt terrible and the curtains were open in my room.
Wait a minute....
'This isn't my room!'
I surveyed my surroundings. I was apparently seating in the front seat of a truck.
'WHO'S TRUCK AM I IN???'
Before I could panic for much longer a familiar voice came from the radio.
" Good morning. How are you feeling?"
" U-uhmm...fine I guess. Who am I talking to?" I said while staring skeptically at the radio and scooting as far into the seat as I could.
" Forgive me for not introducing myself properly. I am Optimus Prime. The mech you met from last night."
'Oh great! That wasn't all a weird whiskey induced dream.'
" But......you're a truck now???"
" Yes."
" Weren't you a robot before?"
" If by 'robot' you mean my primary form, then also yes."
I burried my face in my hands and groaned.
"Ughhh what's going on?"
I then remembered the lack of a certain furry companion. I was about to panic again until I saw RG0 a few yards away from us and playing with some of the other robots from last night. A small yellow one was on the ground, nearly mirroring RG0's play position. I would've found the whole scene cute if it wasn't so bizarre.
" If you don't mind me asking. I would like to know the name of the human who saved me."
I snorted.
" Saved you? No way. If anything you saved me."
" If you hadn't have stayed and distracted Starscream, I would've been severely injured if not offlined. You could have left me there and saved yourself. But you didn't. You showed true bravery."
" Aw stop with the flattery. I was just paying you back for helping us first. So consider us even."
" Then thank you miss....?"
" Princeton. Well Zola is my first name."
" Then thank you Zola. And I'm sure we have much to discuss."
" That might be an understatement."
And it was.

How Tanis is revealed: A fanfiction
Tanis never thought that the way she would be revealed to the team would be forced. She planned on a big, extravagant, dramatic revealer, just to see the look on the others’s faces. She certainly would not have guessed that it would have been in a deep, dark cave, with her villainous sister laughing over her as her body racked with pain. Nonetheless, that’s what happened.
“Warhammer comin’ in! Trollhunter, do you copy?” Toby’s voice echoed over the walkie-talkie... or whatever you called those things. Certainly there must be a more dignified name for those? Jim went over to the device. “I copy. What’s the issue?” Jim asked his friend.
“Second mission. Something about a big snake thing that’s been making a lot of animals go missing or something. We gotta check it out.”
Jim sighed. “Roger that. Trollhunter out.”
This’ll be interesting. “Big snake thing”... sounds like a dragon. Tanis thought in his head. It had only been a little bit of time that she’d been stuck in his head... she’d come in the night the whole mess began (ooc note: Becoming part 1)
Maybe. I hope not... do all dragons breathe fire, Tanis? He responded.
Of course not ALL of us. Some of us do breathe fire in any situations, some don’t, some northern dragons breathe FrostBreath, some spit venom, and some, like me, can only under special circumstances. For NightHunters, we only can when its boosted by adrenalin or when we get really, REALLY mad.
Thank you for that alarmingly detailed explanation.
Any time.
As soon as they arrived at the cave, Tanis knew something was up. It was quiet... too quiet for a forest like they were in. It was a full moon, and that has always been a bad omen in practically every culture or whatever. Werewolves, Vampires, Shadow Stalkers, all were out in the full moon. Jim sniffed the air with Tanis’s elevated sense of smell. Aaaarrrgghh!!! Made a huffing noise, Blinky looked as nervous as Jim/Tanis did. Toby said it before Jim could:
“Guys, I think something’s up.”
Tanis didn’t know at the time what came over her, but she forced Jim to run into the cave. The others made their assorted sounds of alarm. “Master Jim, no!” Blinky said in a loud whisper. But they were already inside. It was quiet in the cave, and, despite how deep they were inside the cave, Jim could see. Toby panted as he ran in. “Hah... dude... you can’t just... sprint into every cave... you see! Especially... hah... if its creepy and dark!” He said.
“What are you talking about... it’s plenty bright!” Jim retorted.
“It’s pitch-black.”
Jim stopped for a moment. Apparently, Tanis’s abilities that were permanently fused into him included Nighthunter Night Vision. He had no idea how to explain it to his best friend without talking about Tanis, so he just shrugged.
“Tanisssssss...” A slithery voice hissed.
They all froze.
“How nicccccce of you to come... dear sister.” The voice continued.
Tanis’s look of awareness shrunk into full fear. It was indeed her sister... Urada.
The others seemed confused and mightily creeped out, especially since their party was all-male.
Or so they thought.
Then her head reared out of the shadows. It was only slightly larger than a lioness’s, but with her sleek, draconic face. She was mostly shades of dark purple, mixed with a tad of magenta and a smidge of green. Her wings were the size of a small house from wingtip to wingtip, and her catlike, regal grace and serpentine tail were all too familiar. A glistening circlet, silver with a ruby in the center, perfectly accented her own ruby-colored eyes. Tanis knew what it was... the crown of the NightHunters. Her sister was a Dragon Queen.
Woah, woah, woah. Wait a sec. You were a--, Jim started.
Don’t say it, please. The title’s weird. Tanis replied.
Fine, then. You never mentioned that you were going to be queen! Or in line for it, or whatever... Jim protested.
Well gosh darn it, it must’ve slipped my mind. She thought sarcastically back at him.
“Well, don’t be a stranger, Tanis. Say hello to your sister!” Urada sneered. She held out a talon and made a sharp beckoning motion, and Tanis was forced into control, and was levitated nearer to Urada as Tanis writhed in pain. Her eyes were shut tightly, and she didn’t open them, for she knew that the expression on her friends’s faces would be of disbelief, betrayal, and fear.
Urada snorted as she looked Tanis over. “Hmph. Your new body is scrawny... and I would never have thought that you would have picked a MALE one.” She said disapprovingly.
“Jim’s fine! He’s a good friend, and at least he cares about more than power and appearance, Urada.” Tanis defended her host.
“Enough of this. Why don’t you shift back into your REAL body, why don’t you? Or, at least, something like it.” Urada’s face widened into a murderous smile, the grin of a torturer. She gripped her talon into a fist, and Tanis howled in agony.
She knew she was changing. She knew she was shifting into something else. She just never imagined it would HURT so much. Her feet molded into a new shape, her spine lengthened. Her shirt ripped at the shoulderblades as her wings grew out of them, with their star-strewn undersides. Her entire head lengthened and grew at the same time as her draconic head formed. Her horns grew, then twisted in a single wave, and her spine lengthened into a prehensile tail. Her dark purple and indigo scales clapped onto her flesh, as her talons formed, her claws curved and retractable, like a cat’s. Her ears, as a final touch, grew into a shape much like a cow or a goat’s ear, with her single golden hoop earring on her left ear with draconic runes on it materialized. The only clue that the dragon-girl was once Jim was the color of the spiky mane that ran from her head all the way down her neck, which was the exact color of Jim’s hair.
No one made a sound as the now-dragon-girl got up. “Well? Anyone got any comments on my magnificent splendor?” She said sarcastically. Toby made a whimpering sound in the back of his throat. “J-jim?”
For a split-second, their form flickered, and Jim returned to normal. “I’m still here, Toby. Just... Tanis is, too.” He said, before Tanis’s form took over again and she was a dragon-anthro once more. Speaking of which... being a dragon anthro meant you had human parts... including the human female’s chest... Tanis’s face almost reddened, and she used some magic to make a sort of outfit for herself, which consisted of some jeans with a hole tailored for her tail and digitigrade stance, and a strapless top so her shoulders and wings could be free of burden.
(Ooc note: Uh, I just noticed that Jim had never used the amulet in this... let’s just say he didn’t have enough time to react.)
“As you know now, my name is Tanis. I’ve been in your friend’s head for, uhm, not too long? The night he got the amulet and stuff... Anyway, I mean no harm at all. Believe me, I was pretty much as freaked out as you are right now when this happened to me. It won’t be much different... there’ll just be... a new member of the team.” She smiled nervously.
“I... I guess. This is just so cool!” Toby finally said. “Can you actually fly? Can you breathe fire? Can you roar so loud that you break glass? Can I ride you as you fly sometime?” He didn’t look... as betrayed as she thought he would. instead, all she saw was interest, fascination, and a bit of hysteria. She also was a bit disturbed that he literally asked if he could RIDE her. That could be interpreted in a VERY different way than he probably meant...
Aaaarrrgghh!!! Came over and sniffed her worriedly until it got weird, and Tanis backed away.
“Why... why didn’t you tell us about this, Master... Tanis, was it?” Blinky frowned. He did look a lot more betrayed than Toby did. “More importantly, what pronouns shall we use for you?” He raised an eyebrow at Tanis. This was... a complicated question. She and Jim together, she supposed, would count as gender-fluid, in a way. “Put it this way: If I’m in control, than it’s she and her. When Jim’s in control, it’s he and him. Only if you actually don’t know which one of us is in control, or if you’re just referring to us in general, than you may use they and them.”
“Look, this is all very touching, but lets just move on to the part where I kill you and your friends weep over your remains?” Urada said, bored. Tanis snapped her head up. She had nearly forgotten that Urada was there. Tanis growled, and leaped onto all fours, her tail raised like a scorpion. Her claws unsheathed, and she felt her throat glow red-hot.
“Ha! What bravery. You could never defeat me in the hatchery, sister! What makes you think you can beat me now?” Urada leered. She was in her own defense position, her wings outstretched to make herself look even bigger than she was.
This was more than a pansy monster fight.
This was more than a sibling rivalry.
This was a battle for a throne.
Wow.
Things just got real deep.
Tanis roared, and her deadly tailblade unsheathed, larger than a chef’s knife, and sharper than a surgeon’s blade. She launched herself onto her sister, pinning her to the ground. They rolled like they were in a catfight, hissing and spitting. They clawed and they bit, and Urada shot fire at Tanis, and Tanis stabbed at Urada with her tailblade. They sprung apart suddenly, then circled, tails lashing. Tanis was no bigger than a huge German Shepard, and Urada was as large as a lioness. Urada had size and strength on her size, but Tanis was lean and quick. Tanis snarled, Urada hissed. Urada suddenly leaped at her and swiped. But this is what Tanis needed. She clawed as hard as she could at the much larger dragoness’s exposed underbelly, and the dragoness fell. Tanis knew she wasn’t dead, but Tanis made sure she had knocked Urada out cold. Tanis stood on two legs again, panting. She was covered in scratches and bites, and the occasional burn. Some of the scratches were deep enough to cause her to limp.
“She isn’t dead. I wouldn’t kill my sister...” She said to the others. “But she’ll be back. I may have needed to kill her if I even wanted to be queen, which I don’t. I already have enough on my shoulders to rule an entire kingdom of dragons. I’m the Trollhunter, remember? I won’t abandon my post.” She let Jim take control again, and turned back into human, as if none if it all had ever happened. The only thing that remained was the golden earring, which was apparently meant as a reminder never for them to forget what they were. He supposed he would have to hide it from everyone else besides the ones who knew about it... assuming they weren’t too observant.
“Jimbo!” Toby yelped happily, and ran to hug him.
“I was there the whole time, you know.” Jim frowned. Hey, it was true. he hadn’t gone anywhere. He had seen the whole fight. Through HER eyes. He wondered if that was how Tanis felt all the time. Most likely... if so, how could she bear it, traipsing along among his thoughts, his feelings, his memories, and his pains?
“I’m so sorry. I should have told you guys sooner.” It was Tanis who said this, and they all turned toward her voice.
“It’s quite all right, Master Jim. Tanis. All this means is that we have a new, draconic addition to our team, and the more the merrier!” Blinky said. He seemed to be taking this well, which was a relief. “Just... try not to hide to many things from us any more, okay?” He elbowed Tanis as Jim took control again.
“Deal.” He smiled.

This piece was commissioned by @kaguneko who requested some Creature Fic with NSFW. I had a lot of fun writing this piece, and I actually really enjoy this universe. I want to spend some more time with Muse!Levi for sure. I'm so grateful that they allowed me to write this for them.
Read it here or on AO3.
Blackberries
Erwin stared at the half painted canvas. He sat down on the guest bed, drank some of his whiskey, and tried to think of the way to get that specific curve in the woman's spine. He stared at the canvas until his eyes began losing focus. Because he was thinking of Levi again. The paint on the canvas didn't matter so much anymore.
He hadn't seen Levi for months. And there was no way to contact him. Levi appeared when he wanted. So Erwin stood from the bed, took the canvas from the easel, and put it away in his closet. He couldn't look at it anymore. Couldn't look at it and wonder if Levi would even like it.
Then, he went downstairs, had a quick dinner, and he watched television to try and numb his brain. He couldn't stop thinking about the painting. He wanted to finish it. But his brush wouldn't move.
When he felt art block, Erwin regretted taking the sabbatical. His book was going well, but it was restrictive in comparison to painting. At first, painting had been a struggle for him. He scrapped all of his paintings eventually. Then, Levi came. And Erwin got out of bed in the morning only to paint. Reaching his word count for the day was easy in comparison. On this night, Erwin wanted to pack all of his things, leave Ireland, and go back home.
Eventually, after eating too many carbs and having some more whiskey, Erwin felt heavy in the recliner. The nature documentary was interesting enough to look at without requiring much interest.
Erwin startled in his chair when he heard a dog bark. He squinted and sat up in his chair. There were times that Erwin believed he heard things that weren't real. Many times, he believed that Levi was a hallucination.
The dog barked again, louder this time. And there was scratching on his front door.
Erwin let down the foot of the recliner and stood, walking out of the living room and towards the front door. He turned the corner in the kitchen, looked to the front door, and Levi was leaning against it, his arms crossed.
When Levi first came to him, he always wore a suit, or part of a suit. Over time, Levi stopped wearing clothes when he appeared. Erwin swallowed, resisted the urge to run to him, and he waited. Levi's eyes glowed silver in the dim light, making him look so much more vicious than he really was. Erwin couldn't stop his eyes from wandering from Levi's shoulders, to his abdomen, the unsettling lack of a navel, and lower.
“Sounds like you have company,” Levi said.
Erwin stepped forward, taking his time. And when he reached Levi, he lifted his hand, pushed his fingers through Levi's black hair. Levi leaned into Erwin's hand, closed his eyes, inhaled Erwin's scent. Erwin leaned forward, pressing a kiss into Levi's hair, which always smelled of earth and fresh air. The dog barked again, and Levi cursed quietly into Erwin's hand.
“What's outside?” Erwin asked, as Levi began pulling away. He stepped back when Levi turned to open the door.
When Levi opened the door, he stepped back, and Erwin saw the dog at his front door. It looked much like a German Shepard, with much darker, thicker hair, and golden eyes that glimmered like Levi's. The dog was also the biggest German Shepard Erwin had ever seen in his life. At the shoulders, the dog was as tall as Erwin's waist.
“You'll have to invite him in if you want him,” Levi said. Erwin's eyes darted to Levi.
“Where did you get a dog?”
The dog exhaled a heavy breath and sat down.
“He's a púca,” Levi said. Erwin felt his heart thump in his chest. He didn't want to believe it. He wouldn't have believed it, except Levi, his leanan sídhe, had never lied to him.
“Close the door, Levi.”
“If I do, he'll leave.”
“Why would you think I would want a púca here?”
“Do you miss me when I'm gone?” Levi asked. Erwin winced. “Aren't there times that you still believe you've created me in your mind? To soothe your loneliness?” Erwin reached up and scratched the back of his neck. “He could go anywhere with you. But I can only be in so many places.”
Erwin looked at Levi again, but Levi was gone. Then, he felt Levi's hands on the skin of his back. He might never get used to Levi doing that. But he loved it too. Levi's thumbs pressed into the tense muscles of Erwin's back.
“I've told you so many times,” Levi whispered. “That you are my favorite.” Erwin looked at the dog before he closed his eyes. “Not only in this century.” Levi's wrapped his arms around Erwin, resting his hands on Erwin's chest, leaning his forehead against his back. “In every century.”
Erwin felt his knees begin to shake. Levi's skin was hot, every time. He opened his eyes, saw the dog was standing at attention again.
“How did you find it?” Erwin asked.
“He belonged to a man who owned a farm near the place where I rest,” Levi said. “The farmer died.” The púca flattened his ears. Erwin thought of everything that he had read about the púca, and he knew that some of them were benevolent enough. They were known as tricksters, but if this one had belonged to a farmer, he was more than likely a type of guardian. And he didn't take the shape of a horse, which was a good sign. Levi wouldn't bring a malevolent creature to Erwin's home. Erwin knew Levi cared too much. He was telling the truth. Erwin was Levi's favorite.
Erwin nodded. Levi pulled his hands away, and Erwin stepped forward, towards the dog. The dog's ears picked up again. Erwin stopped before his toes touched the threshold and knelt in front of the dog. He felt Levi's hands in his hair, and the púca's golden eyes glanced up at Levi before they met Erwin's again.
“I'm Erwin,” he said. “I'm only here for a limited amount of time before I have to return home.” Levi tugged Erwin's hair. Erwin's eyelids lowered. He loved that, and Levi knew it.  The dog's eyes scanned him. “But I would trade you food and shelter for protection.” The dog glanced up at Levi again, and Erwin wondered why. Levi may have already made a deal with the púca.
The dog's golden eyes returned to Erwin, and he woofed quietly.
Erwin stood, and he felt Levi move back, away from him.
“Please come in,” Erwin said, stepping back.
The dog stepped over the threshold and began sniffing around the house. Erwin closed the door, and Levi grabbed his forearm, gently. Erwin turned to look at him, and Levi was pushing his back up against the wall. Erwin leaned down, and their lips met. Levi's tongue slid along his bottom lip, and Erwin had to stifle a moan. But he couldn't help himself from gasping. The image of a woman's neck came to his mind. Levi leaned against him harder, and Erwin felt Levi's hard cock grind against his thigh. The woman was becoming more apparent. She was flushed, wrapped in white sheets. Erwin broke the kiss and leaned his head back. Levi looked up at him.
“I can't finish the painting,” Erwin said. Levi's hands ran over Erwin's chest, lowered, played with the buttons on Erwin's sleeping pants. Erwin was half hard already.
“I know,” Levi said. Erwin rubbed his eyes with the heels of his hands. “I'm not here often enough.” Erwin took his hands away from his eyes, running the fingers of one hand into Levi's hair, resting the other hand on Levi's neck. “That's part of why Mike is here.”
“It won't be the same,” Erwin said.
“You haven't seen all of him yet,” Levi said. “I know it won't be the same, but he'll help while I'm away.” Erwin opened his mouth, and Levi put his fingers over Erwin's lips. Automatically, Erwin's tongue reached out, tasting Levi's skin. “He won't have the same affect, creatively. But he can give you a lot.” Erwin kissed Levi's hand. Levi took his hand from Erwin's mouth, and he laced their fingers together. “I'm hungry,” Levi said. Erwin followed Levi from the entryway to the bedroom, and where he made an abrupt stop in the doorway.
A large, naked man was laying in Erwin's bed. Erwin felt Levi look at him, but he couldn't take his eyes away. The man still had a dark bushy tail, which was swishing happily, dark ears standing up from his blond hair. And his face was buried in one of Erwin's pillows.
“He likes you,” Levi whispered. Levi licked at Erwin's neck, and Erwin's eyelids fluttered. Images of the three of them together flashed in Erwin's mind.
Mike lifted his face from Erwin's pillow and looked at them both. Levi pressed his tongue flat against Erwin's neck, and gave him a long lick, and Erwin's cock throbbed at the images. In his mind's eyes, he saw Levi under him, and he felt Mike behind him. Other images came with it. A naked man standing in a field of flowers. A woman bathing in a waterfall. These small flashes of scenery stayed with Erwin after Levi left. And he tried to paint whatever Levi would give him. They were sections of Levi's memories, through his many centuries of life.
“If you don't want him tonight,” Levi whispered. Erwin looked down at him. “He'll stay here.” Levi lifted up on his tip toes and spoke against Erwin's lips. “He'll be here whenever you want it.” Erwin opened his mouth and had no words. His eyes darted to Mike, who was still laying on the bed, watching them. “Do you want to watch me with him?” Erwin swallowed. His mouth was watering. Five months earlier, the things that he had done with Levi had felt taboo After a while, Erwin felt completely debauched. Levi had desensitized him to many things.
Levi walked away from Erwin and over to the bed. Erwin stared at Levi's ass while he walked. When Levi reached the bed, Mike lifted his head from the pillow and rolled over. Erwin felt his eyes widen when he saw Mike's hard cock. Levi crawled onto the bed, straddled Mike's legs, and lowered his head.
Levi licked Mike's cock, and Mike's ears flattened out. He took a deep breath and sighed so loudly that Erwin had to lean against the doorway to stop his knees from giving out. He knew about Levi's mouth. Mike closed his eyes, his lips parted, breathing heavily while Levi sucked on him.
Erwin didn't think before he moved away from the wall and walked over to the bed. Levi didn't look up, but Mike opened his golden eyes and looked up at Erwin. But then he closed his eyes tightly and grunted through clenched teeth. Erwin's eyes went to Levi, and he saw that Levi's cheeks were hollowed. He felt Mike's hand on his cock, which was pressing hard against his underwear and cotton sleeping pants. Erwin sighed, pressed into Mike's hand.
Erwin pushed his thumbs under the elastic of his sleeping pants and underwear, slipping out of them quickly. He climbed onto the bed, and Levi lifted his head, smiling up at Erwin. Erwin laid down on the bed next to Mike and wrapped his hand around his cock. But Mike reached over, pushed Erwin's hand away. Erwin closed his eyes when Mike wrapped a hand around his cock and started stroking. He felt Levi's hand on his thigh, and Erwin shuddered.
“That's it, Erwin,” Levi whispered. Erwin felt Mike let go, and he opened his eyes, seeing that Levi and Mike were changing positions on the bed. Mike reached over, grabbed Erwin under his arms and moved him as if he weighed nothing. Levi knelt next to Erwin's face, and Erwin opened his mouth. He closed his eyes, licking at Levi's slit when he felt Levi's head against his tongue. Erwin gasped before he felt Levi slide into his mouth. Then, he felt Mike's hands on his ass, and Mike lifted Erwin an inch from the bed. Erwin spread his legs and rested his feet on Mike's back. When he felt Mike's tongue against his hole, he moaned around Levi's cock, and he felt Levi twitch in his mouth.
Mike's tongue left Erwin dripping, and he one of Mike's fingers against his opening. Erwin opened his mouth, and Levi backed up a bit. Erwin grabbed the bedsheets when Mike's finger slid inside of him. Then, Erwin felt Levi straddle his hips, and his cock was guided to Levi's slick hole. Levi slid down onto him easily, and Erwin's breath caught in his chest. He tensed around Mike's finger and cried out loudly. Mike's finger moved inside of him while Levi rode his cock, and it was so intense that Erwin felt all of the heat rush to his face. Moans were caught so tightly in his chest that the sounds coming from him were strangled, pitiful sighs.
When Erwin came, he felt Levi tighten around him and then move so much faster that the bed shook. Erwin couldn't even breathe during the orgasm, holding his breath so long that when the hardest wave passed, he exhaled, gasping for air. He felt him orgasm spilling out of Levi onto his cock, and Mike removed his finger, gently dragging against his prostate. Erwin felt Levi spill onto his stomach, but when he tried to open his eyes, the room swam.
Levi lifted up, away from Erwin. He felt Levi's head on his chest then, and he opened his eyes to test his vision. The room was clearer than it had been earlier, and Erwin raised his head. Levi was laying on top of Erwin with his hips raised up, and Mike was licking Levi's hole. Levi dug his fingernails into Erwin's skin, and Erwin ran his fingers through Levi's hair.
Erwin adjusted the pillows under his head so he wouldn't have to strain his neck to watch. Mike licked Levi for so long that Levi began trembling. And when Erwin thought Levi would collapse on top of him, Mike stopped, lifted his head, licking his lips. Then he lined his hips up with Levi's, pressing his fingertips into Levi's skin hard, and pushed his hard cock into Levi's soaked hole. Levi practically growled, scratching Erwin's skin. Erwin felt Mike's tail against his leg.
Erwin tugged at Levi's hair, lifting his head so he could watch Levi's face. Mike wasn't gentle. With every thrust, Erwin felt Levi's hard cock drag against his stomach. Levi's silver eyes were darker, and Mike was grunting with every move.
After only a few thrusts, Mike leaned forward over the both of them, putting his hands on the bed to support himself. Erwin lowered Levi's head and wrapped an arm around Levi's ribs and held him tightly while Mike pounded them both hard down into the bed. Erwin reached between his body and Levi's, found Levi's cock and squeezed. With every thrust from Mike, Levi's cock was thrust into Erwin's tight fist. Levi mewled in a way Erwin had never heard before, and he pressed a kiss into Levi's hair. Levi moaned into Erwin's skin before his teeth sank in, and Erwin's eyelids fluttered. The pain was suppressed by the lingering high. Levi came into Erwin's hand, soaking them both.
He saw Mike's golden eyes flash at him when Mike briefly opened them. Mike's ears were up, twitching. Then, Mike closed his eyes tightly and moved faster for a few more moments before he shuddered and stopped, sighing heavily. Mike pulled back and rolled over, landing hard on the foot of the bed. Erwin took his hand away from Levi's cock, rubbed the liquid into the sheets under them, and Levi sighed.
Erwin tried to keep his eyes open. When he closed them after these nights, he fell asleep almost instantly. And then he dreamed, of whatever Levi had given him to paint. Erwin's eyelids felt heavy. He forced his eyes to stay open, and then Mike licked his ankle. One side of Erwin's mouth lifted. Mike hadn't said a word to him, but Erwin already loved him, wanted him around.
Tightening his hold around Levi, Erwin pressed more kisses into Levi's hair. Levi wasn't moving, wasn't really breathing, which was normal. Between the gentle kisses on his ankles and the weight of Levi on top of him, Erwin couldn't help but fall asleep.
***** The next morning, when Erwin woke up he knew how to finish the painting in his closet. The curve of the woman's back had been too drastic. That's why it looked wrong. Levi was gone, and Mike was laying next to him, still in his human form, his ears turning to pick up noises. Mike's tail began beating against the bed when Erwin turned to look at him.
“Good morning,” Mike said. Erwin smiled at him.
“Good morning,” Erwin said, his voice thick with sleep. Mike leaned over and licked Erwin's neck tenderly. Erwin reached up and petted Mike's ear, scratching it. “Are you hungry?”
“Yes,” Mike said, licking harder.
“What do you eat besides overly ripe blackberries?” Erwin asked.
“Anything you eat,” Mike said. Mike stopped licking and sat up in the bed, ready to go. Erwin rubbed his eyes.
“I'll feed you,” Erwin said. “And then I'm going to paint.”
