every time i go back to a gen 1-4 pokemon episode or movie i always go into shock at how genuinely funny team rocket is. im so used to them being awful in the later seasons now
#watching the lucario movie with my pals on discord and god theyre hysterical here#‘’everythings back to normal!! … which means we’re back to being losers :/‘’#also this is making me wanna touch on my psmd backstory….. that game takes so much from this movie#and i wanna lean into that by making sir aaron’s lucario this timeline’s version of the legendary explorer lucario#i already had it be very involved in the backstory anyways bc nova chooses her new form after it#echoed voice#oughhh what if it still dies the same way though…. it sacrifices itself to save the tree of life with its aura#it dies so that hero and mew can reach dark matter and survive in the tree…#its always fucking doomed to die in that tree basically
