im always so disappointed by the way things jump from the hunter encounter to jon being back in london. i think it could really do with at least a supplemental where hes in a waffle house at 4am narrating into his tape recorder how the serial killers gave him a ride to the nearest town that has both phone signal and a greyhound terminal so he could book a new bus ticket to get himself back to somewhere he could actually catch a flight from.

#there is audible activity in the background but nobody cares that hes talking about hanging out with serial killers #but even odds someone does interrupt him to be like 'heyy are you ~british woww nothats neat haha' and jon is audibly pained by this #also while workshopping the american roadtrip segment let me say there was a sad lack of roadside stands #with handpainted plywood signs reading 'BOILD PNUTS + FRESH PEACHES + FORCHIN TELLIN' or what have you #i think trying to get a snack and ending up with an ominous portent delivered by some very ordinary lady on the older side lf #of middle-aged with a thick accent could have definitely fit in there somewhere
