It's just occurred to me that in the previous episode when Im Sol was drunk and crying I just assumed it was because Sunjae was dead, but she had already fixed things at that point so she was crying because he doesn't know her now. THEY FOOLED ME!

Is Sunjae an actor now instead of an idol? If so I think I see where this is going...

“This programme is more of a distraction than an improvement” that’s teaaa actually. Thats so often what councils etc do, distract with new flashy things rather than fix the real problems. Even though in this case it’s well meaning it does make u think how big a priority should the library actually be? But actually children reading is super important and what did they say last season? The librarian was an alexa in glasses? 🤣

I have thoughts on Barbara’s intentions and my instinct is gregory needs to keep her name out his mouth. I do think it’s really important that Janine stood up to Barbara, just maybe gregory made barbara seem worse than she was

My immediate reaction was this one of my favourite episodes of the season - lots of excellent Barb moments, the kids, more mr johnson, story arcs I enjoyed and felt completed.

Janine standing up to Barbara was a really big deal for her considering her hatred of conflict and worship of barbara as a mother figure. It made me really proud to see how far janine has come.

But the longer since watching the less I like it. And it’s two main things:

- the jacob melissa room mate situation feels like jumping the shark for plots sake and not something realistic for those characters. So as much as I enjoy them and their dynamic and their growth it just feels fake.

- I dont care about the librarian. The set up feels like she could stick around and I just don’t care for new characters, I like my main people. (But then the same apprehension was had w the district people and they’ve not seemed to be around much).

I do still really like this ep and it definitely ranks highly in the season, just idk, some eps I enjoy more over time but this has made me feel more confused as to what will happen next I guess.

ok i’m here today with a story from work tw mentions of religion (priest, satan), tw drugs (cocaine), tw death

i swear this is a work story ok? 😭 just bear with me for a sec

so i started working at a notary in december i found out they were looking for someone bc my parents had to go there since my mom’s biological dad died and as his child there’s a legal portion (?) of his assets she gets but ye that’s how i got the job xD

fast forward to when i start working there everyone is super nice there and no one ever said anything about my green hair and the skeleton and satanic print stuff i wear lol (they also don’t mind the anime merch hehe) one of my co-workers even keeps complimenting my style and i love her so much 🥺

well... then there’s this guy (one of my superiors) he’s very nice - very chill guy and during the christmas party he told us randomly that he originally wanted to become a priest and i just went 😀 like i’ve been wearing shirts with satan and shit on them and he never even looked at me weirdly if i had know that in advance i would’ve assumed we’d have a stare-off at some point 🧍

a while later during the christmas party i talk about an escape room board game with another co-worker and he asks me if i like gaming in general and i’m like “yeah totally” and then he looks at me and just goes “skyrim and satisfactory right?” - i didn’t even notice in that moment that i never told him  well i noticed a few mins later and asked him how he knows “i found your steam profile” 😀  he didn’t even stalk me - i was just too dumb to realize that the name of my google account is (almost) the same as my gamer tag and i used that email address so send them my application (milk moment) -_- but ye then we talked about skyrim bc he loves it as well a few days later i wear a dead by daylight hoodie and he KNOWS IT - he knows the game xD

and then today he was scanning the driver’s license of one of the people who came here to discuss an inheritance and i sit right next to the printer/scanner so he shows me the driver’s license since there’s a pretty big crack in it and then he fucking goes “they prob did too much coke with this” EXCUSE ME xD mr i-wanted-to-become-a-priest said what?! i’m almost died right then and there i had to try so hard not to burst out laughing (i had tears in my eyes for 3 mins)

so yeah... work was interesting today lol
