It's weird and sort of intriguing how Zola's shadow is the only one of the main cast shadows that doesn't seem to have a personality of his own. He is just eternally smiling smugly and never talking.

He doesn't mirror what Zola feels. He doesn't reveal thoughts of his own.He just sits around smiling and following commands.
