Don’t you love how people will constantly repeat that Billy wasn’t a white supremacist, he never did anything racist or how Jason and his friends attacking Lucas and Erica wasn’t even the slightest bit racially motivated/race related and will go to the ends of the earth to say even though it’s the 80s there’s no racism, yet those same people will constantly deny the possibility of there being more queer characters etc because “oh it’s so unrealistic, it’s the 80s everyone was homophobic then”???
