Hi guys, anyone else growing amaryllises (hippeastrum) this year? I planted mine late but they are growing now very fast, I would say an inch or so a day. If I am lucky, I have blooms at Christmas. How can something as simple as growing amaryllises be so exciting? I guess only plant nerds can relate! I hope you all had a lovely fourth of Advent weekend! My husband and I took it easy, we relaxed, cooked (duck breast), baked, and enjoyed the Christmas decorations. I am still adding to it every day a little bit. I like to do that until December 24th, so that there is something new and exciting until it all comes together on Christmas Eve! Anybody else still decorating?
