Since I have a LOT of merch to catch up on - some of which, like this one, takes several pictures to fully show off - Merch Monday will be lasting several days going into next week! Merch Midweek. Merch Monday 0.1. Indulge Me Day.

These are acrylic charms by starlotties on etsy! (Sorry for the bad lighting on these - the lights made the shadows really wonky, and I didn't want to give a false impression by editing the image.) They took a while to ship, but they came in a really high quality reusable bag, and the charms themselves are great. I provided a comparison to my finger for sizing. This is another one of those series that come in a whole slew of ships - the other available ships are Kiiouma, Amasai, Saimota, Saiibo, Saiouma, Oumota, Saimatsu, Kaimaki, Kiiruma, and Oumami!

Finally my first official amasai post on Tumblr and I'm about to be annoying because it's finally Amasai week!!!! (@amasaiweek )

Day 1 - Crush (accidentally snuck in some of day 5 (confession) too but it's alright because I have something else planned for that day)

"What if he talked about someone else? He could have mentioned so many other names!"

"That's the thing, I didn't."

Day 1 - Crush / Non-killing game (college) au

"Shuichi! Wake up already geez!" A familiar voice called out to him beyond the door.

"What is it Kaede?!" He tiredly called out.

"I have word from Rantaro for you! Get your ass up already!" She shouted.

As soon as Shuichi heard the name "Rantaro" he immediately had gotten up and shoved on whatever clothes he had lying around from the night before rushing to his bathroom to brush his teeth and neatly do his hair.

"You better not be in bed still Shuichi!" Quickly rinsing his mouth, he ran out of his bathroom to answer his door.

"You are so impatient Kaede.. Anyways what happened?" He replied finally.

"Well~ I overheard him talking to his friends about his crush and I may have heard him sneak a Shuichi in his words.." Kaede grinned as she spoke while Shuichi looked at her dumbfounded before shaking it off and replying back to her.

"What if he talked about someone else? He could have mentioned so many other names!"

"That's the thing, I didn't."

Almost jumping from the sudden voice, Shuichi walked out of his room to find Rantaro standing in the corner of the living room of Shuichi and Kaede's shared dorm room.

"Thanks Kaede, I'll just be a few minutes then I'll be on my way." He patted her shoulders soon after making his way over to me with a soft smile plastered all over his face.

Shuichi was just stuck staring at Rantaro the whole time afterwards and was not aware of a seemingly like cotton candy blush arose on his face.

"Oh no need I have a class now anyways and then a date with Kirumi afterwards so take your time!" She smiled back at him before grabbing her bag and putting on her shoes.

"See you both later then!" Kaede cheered before walking out of the door, giving us both a wave with her usual smile. Rantaro waved back and once she had left he had turned to me.

"Can I come in?" He asked, Shuichi was still in a small panic but nodded his head to say yes regardless. He led the other boy into his room as they both sat down onto his bed.

"I heard off of a certain someone that you had the same feelings for me. So I thought why not come here so I can confirm it to you. So here goes nothing." Rantaro takes a deep breath before continuing his speech.

"I love you Shuichi and I always have, your smile and your laugh has always been gorgeous even if you are insecure about it. I find it pretty to see you so happy and enjoying yourself while being you. So please confirm these feelings back to me.."

Rantaro had now grabbed Shuichi's hands and brought them close to his chest as he had spoken. Shuichi began to make eye contact with Rantaro as he had now taken his turn in speaking.

"Rantaro... I love you too. Mainly because you've always been so patient and understanding with me even when I'm having my off days and I genuinely appreciate your support and your love. If it's okay with you.."

Shuichi takes a deep breath before saying his question carefully.

"Will you be my boyfriend Rantaro?"

Rantaro smiled at him once again and pulled him into a hug.

"Of course I will."

amamatsu beloveds <3 the aesthetic box is exclusively cause pink and green are complimentary, i really enjoyed coloring them for my amamatsu week pieces. i think they have a really fun dynamic, will forever mourn that rantaro wasn't one of her protag supports. the divorce box is because i read this one jimcloud fic that made me realize that rantaro's avoidant nature would really hurt kaede in the long run, it changed me fundamentally as a person... still love them though, i also really dig them as platonic friends

i really loved the amasai interactions in salmon mode they're so silly. why would you, as a man, volunteer to travel the world with this other guy huh? 🤨i like their contrast of guy who is chill but experiencing horrors and guy who is on the verge of an anxiety attack experiencing the horrors. again, criminal that we were robbed of rantaro so soon waah waaah cry

Wayside Chapel Daily Devotional 6th June 2024

6/6 1 Chronicles 12:18

18 Then the Spirit clothed Amasai, chief of the thirty, and he said, "We are yours, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to your helpers! For your God helps you." Then David received them and made them officers of his troops.

During the time in which David was hiding in the wilderness from Saul, men from Saul's own tribe defected to David. One of them, Amasai, became a leader among David's mighty men. When they found David and asked to join his ranks, David told them that if they had come in friendship, his soul would be bound to theirs. Then he warned them that if they had come in treachery, God would deal with them.

Our passage today is Amasai's response. The Spirit came upon Amasai to help him answer. Before Pentecost the Spirit did not continually indwell man but came upon them for a time. He declared his allegiance to David and pronounced peace upon him and his helpers. Why? "For your God helps you." Amasai recognized the hand of God upon David. He had heard of David's defeat of Goliath, his exploits in battle, and his escape from and evasion of the king. He wanted to be where God was blessing. He knew God's side is the winning side.

Do you know someone that God helps? Perhaps you see an anointing to sing the right song at the right time, or to share a verse that perfectly fits the situation, or give godly advice in a timely way. It may be an anointed sermon week after week, or the wisdom that knows what action to take in every situation. Whatever it is, you see that God is helping him or her. The person God helps makes a great ally.

You can be that person if you will continually look to God and follow His leading. If you will receive His help, and do so consistently, not looking to your own wisdom or strength, but God's, then it will be true of you. You'll find other's follow you for the same reason Amasai followed David.

Prayer: LORD, help me to recognize the godly people around me, those that receive Your help. Help me to always look to You and not trust in my own strength or natural insight. Give me ears to hear Your heart.

it's mod tox here with our initial promo post for amasai week 2021!!! next year (heh) story is gonna make another one with some of their art but for now here's this :)

amasai week 2021, like last year, will be running from march 16th to march 22nd 2021! as usual we'll have a list of prompts for every day, so here they are!

Ok, so for some reason there’s a mistake in here I made where some kind of image is faded into the drawing. I don’t know how it got there or what it is but I’m really angry about it cuz I don’t want to redraw and I don’t want to post again for this prompt that’s late than it already is. I might’ve forgot to erase some colors, idk. If you see it just ignore it please.
