Kaveh shuffled into the house, his face a mixture of tired, grumpy, and in pain. His bag is dropped unceremoniously beside the door and his keys left on the nearest surface. He's uncharacteristically quiet as he shambles to the couch and flops down dramatically beside his roommate, half his limbs dangling over the side. His head is unintentionally propped against Al-Haitham's thigh as he drapes his arm over his face and lets out a sigh. The silence doesn't last long.

"Do we have any of the pain medicine Nari made us left? Today was miserable, my client cancelled my commission, and now my head is killing me. I worked all night on that draft just for him to back out entirely!" He's getting himself worked up again as he complains to the Scribe.

"And these stupid-" He sits up. "hairpins-" He reaches behind his head and tries tugging at the clips. "-are too tight and I can't get them off!" He groaned in frustration, his hands falling into his lap. Nothing was going his way today. Frustrated, tired, hungry, in pain. He's glad his back is to Al-Haitham so he can't see how close the blonde is to tears.
