SOUNDS R US RECORDINGS SHOWCASE - ADE SAMPLER 2013

Sounds R Us Recording are gearing up for another, no doubt successful trip, to this year's Amsterdam Dance Event. Label boss Oz Romita has put together an outstanding package with previously released and exclusive material showcasing the diverse range of styles and many talents of the producers on his labels books.

Ozan Kanik features no less than three times throughout this pack with his first offering being the techno fuelled "Fiction". This track comes in the shape of a superb remix by the mighty Tom Hades and is bound to cause a stir among many at this year's parties and beyond.

Dutch DJ and producer Steve Mulder returns to SRUR with a sublime techno cut on his track "Matador". Steve has a hugely impressive release count across many labels and has worked alongside the world's top jocks and artists.

Ozan's next offering is the aptly titled "ADE 2013", a techno stomper with merciless rhythmic grooves that will certainly have the event patrons looking for more, one to watch here!

Analog Effect aka Dutch duo Jan Boom and Branko Van Hilten are up next with "Plovdiv". The guys are fresh off the back of their last SRUR outing alongside Jay Junior with "Diffuser EP". This time around the guys take techno into deeper grooves and come up with a proper banging track, superb stuff.

Ozan's third contribution is in collaboration with CLN83 on their track "Neat & Clean" which saw great reviews upon release. For this comp the Drumcomplex & Roel Salemink Remix was chosen and it brings with it a darker more sinister techno sound that has a huge effect as it draws you in completely.

Miami based DJ and producer Rod B. is back with his full SRUR release after well received remixes earlier in the year. "24HR Amsterdam" is a classic driving techno groove and just what you'd expect from the highly talented Rod B..

W&DY aka Wendy Wustlich is up next to showcase her diverse skills in production. This time Wendy turns on the progressive house with attitude tap and what we get is the stunning "Heartbeat" which will for sure get those pulses racing!

Label head honcho Oz thumps out a fantastic deep house joint on his track "Changes". Oz has a brilliant and unique way of injecting energy into his sounds and here is no different, yes it's deep house and yes it's full of energy which is what we like!

Finishing off this amazing pack is the talented duo of M.R.T.N. AKA Sthlm Beat and Pomp with "Behind The Iron Curtain". Massive techno sound on the with a harder edge groove, a track that will have the floors at ADE bouncing for sure.

Analog Effect & Jay Junior - Diffuser EP (Sounds R Us Recordings)

Dutch DJing and production duo Analog Effect aka Jan Boom and Branko Van Hilten team up with fellow country man Jay Junior for their full debut release on SRUR with "Diffuser EP". Jan and Branko have done remixes for SRUR and Bonzai Basiks in the past for Oz Romita and Oliver Moldan. These guys started out creating bleeps on Atari computers and have since worked with and played with top DJ's and artists from across the world. Jay Junior has music coursing through his veins, he started his music career as a percussionist and he has performed at many festivals across Europe. Now when Jay takes to the decks he throws out an energetic and rhythmic experience for the listener.

The title track "Diffuser" intros with a thumping kick and light percussion, the rhythm builds steadily and bursts into a full on tech stomper with a deep, reverberating bass. The break offers up some interesting FX which works very well in contrast with this deep groove, one for the darker rooms!

"I Like It" is up next and we get another round of truly floor thumping kicks backed up with quality percussion and FX. The bassline has a smooth deep grooving effect and this blends so well with the overall vibe. Vocal samples peek through before the break and the track winds down, superb synths build tension on the break and before you know it we are back into full on party rockin mode with this top tune.

M.R.T.N take on remix duties on "Diffuser" and they ramp up the techno grooves in style. Much harder edged with tough gritty kicks and in your face bass. A multitude of percussive instruments provide a solid groove with flowing rhythms while on the break we get treated to some quirky bleeps and an intense riser to get us back into full swing, a must have for those dedicated techno arenas.

Oliver Moldan - Hustle Harder (Sounds R Us Recordings)

Our next producer has been around for a long time and leaving a trail of great productions on great imprints. With his re-entries on Carl Cox`s INTEC and Wally Lopez's La FACTORIA this producer promises a full blast of fresh tracks dropping on all the portals. His humongous resume says it all: Monique Musique, Baroque Records, Incorrect Music, Strictly Rhythm, and Stereo Productions.

His debut on Sounds R Us comes with remixes from R.O.N.N. aka Ron Caroll, Analog Effect and Oz Romita. Boyz & Chickz, please welcome....Oliver Moldan! ;)
